Broad Is The
Road To Destruction

"Enter through the narrow gate.
For wide is the gate and broad is the
road that leads to destruction, and many
enter through it. But small is the gate
and narrow the road that leads to life,
and only a few find it" (Matthew 7:13,14).

Some things people might say from the
eternal, unquenchable fire:

I wish I could get my hands on all those preachers who inferred I could be
sexually immoral or greedy and a Christian at the same time!

No, it can't be! They convinced me I'd only lose
my rewards because of my sinful lifestyle!

They all said I was just carnal, but still saved! Why didn't someone tell me
my salvation was in jeopardy? Who will help my family and friends
learn the truth before it's too late?

Why didn't my pastor ever warn us that we
would have to be fruitful to avoid this fire?

I told my friends I would be partying with them in hell, but this place
is sure no party! This weeping and gnashing of teeth alone is driving me crazy!

I wish I would have spent more time reading the Bible and and less time
watching television! Then I would have had a better chance to learn that I
needed to repent and put my faith in Jesus Christ for salvation!

How can this be? I died wearing the brown scapular, faithfully
confessed to my priest and often prayed the Rosary!

I was deceived into believing that no sin committed after my salvation would send
me here! I curse the day I started to listen to the eternal security teachers!

I thought I would go to heaven since I went to church every week!

They told me if I'd disown my Lord they would let me live.
I didn't know my persecutors were lying!

I took the mark of the beast because I didn't fear losing my salvation.
I'll regret that throughout all eternity!

Those ecumenical leaders called me "brother" but never told me I
needed to repent and trust Christ alone for salvation!

I was part of Jehovah's organization, or so I thought! They taught me Hell
is the grave. How could I have been so deceived?



God's eternal truth:

Jesus said, "But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven" (Mt. 10:33) and "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (Jn. 14:6).

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

"I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus" (Acts 20:21).

"A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: 'If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name. This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus' " (Rev. 14:9-12).

God, from his throne after the infinite and finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ, said: "But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars -- their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death" (Rev. 21:8)

Paul, the grace teacher, said: "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Cor. 6:9,10).

Question: What is your most valuable possession?
Answer: Your eternal soul!
Jesus said, "What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?" (Mk. 8:36).

Turn from your sins and trust in Jesus (Acts 20:21). Follow Him unashamedly in this wicked age until death (Mt. 10:22). Read about your eternal destiny on our heaven/lake of fire page.
