It is highly possible that Clark has been deceived by the popular teaching of eternal security and perhaps the number one eternal security teacher in the world, Charles Stanley himself. Regardless how he got so deceived, the depth of this deception and distortion of the image of a Christian is so widespread that there doesn't seem to be much of a public reaction to Clark's implied message.
Dear reader, please know that the real Christian of the Bible is a saint here and now in this world. The word saint means holy one. Hence, if someone is not living holy now he is not a Christian now, even though he might have been genuinely saved in the past.
This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. (1 John 3:10)The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. (1 John 2:4)
Besides believing as stated above, Michael Clark may very possibly think Dennis Rader was born again as an infant since he believes in infant baptism
, a common Lutheran deception. To Clark and many others, as long as one has been water baptized he is a Christian and will forever be a Christian, even if he becomes demon possessed and a serial murderer like Dennis Rader. These are dark days and with people like Michael Clark, and multitudes of other so-called ministers exalted as spiritual leaders, it will only stay that way.Similar to the BTK serial murderer is another news article which has surfaced -- the Labor Day weekend gathering of gay Christians, anti-gay Christians and the KKK. That same article goes on to refer to gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender Christians. The Bible is explicitly clear to say, among other things, that the homosexuals and all other immoral people will not inherit the kingdom of God unless they repent and place a submissive faith in Jesus. Ponder the following:
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. (1 Cor. 6:9-11, NASB)
Dear reader, go to the Bible and believe what it says to know the truth. Act upon it to benefit. If you follow the crowd, you'll end up in the lake of fire with them.
