Dear Evangelicaloutreach, I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior two years ago. I am so thankful to God for your ministry. I accidentally found you on the Internet last week. I have been listening to Charles Stanley, Chuck Swindol, Tony Evans and the rest of the Eternal Security gang not realizing I was on the wrong path. I should have been reading my Bible and receiving the Truth from the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit instead of listening to these men. Incidentally, I just deleted them from my "Favorite". When I die I want to live eternally with Jesus Christ. What should I do now to reconcile myself with Jesus Christ. I want to start living a Holy Life Today. Please put me on the right track? What literature do you have against Eternal Security? Send me a list of your books. God Bless you all. Your Brother in Christ.
Response: Greetings in Jesus' name. To start to live a holy life today, get ALL known sin out of your life. Sin is the problem, which the eternal security teachers will always downplay. To them sin can only do limited damage to the believer such as causing loss of rewards and fellowship with God, etc., but the real truth is sin can bring a real Christian to his spiritual death and place him back on the road to Hell again. Please note the clarity of the following two verses:
You asked about our materials on eternal security. The most important book we have is our 801 page book entitled, "The Believer's Conditional Security." It has helped many better understand the Christian life. Please see http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/whatsnew.htm To hear some actual audio testimonies of people who were deceived by eternal security teachers, click here.
If you can't afford the book, we'll send you one free along with some other free materials. Please don't hesitate to call our ministry if we can talk with you over the phone and help you. Remember Hebrews 3:12-14:
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexuals nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Cor 6:9,10)
Other similar passages are Rev. 21:8; Eph. 5:5-7 and Gal. 5:19-21. See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first.]
GOD BLESS YOU.
Another issue to consider is that very few societies call suicide murder. For the Middle Eastern person (where the Bible was written) it is simply a form of self judgment. Turning the body over to Satan so that the soul may be saved. It is thought in many (Christian) societies that committing suicide is a form of release for a person who can not control an area of sin when coming under the influence of demonic obsession. I have cast out many spirits and when it comes down to it the devil would rather not that a person commit suicide if they are born again because he can no longer make them miserable and make other christians look bad.
When the Lord told me that an 80 year old woman was in heaven after she shot herself in the head because of the tremendous pain she was experiencing from Rheumatoid arthritis I asked how could that be. He said I am a God of mercy. Let me be the judge. She received release and is now in heaven. Jesus covers and washes away all sins.
Another issue to consider is death such a bad thing? Eternity should be the concern. For you to say that to tell a suicidal person that they will be going to heaven is giving them the permission to put the gun to their head is a simple answer but inaccurate. You must offer them options. Would their life be better? Can you offer them any solutions other than suicide? Is suicide a valid option. For some I would say yes because when they get to heaven God will heal all of the hurts. He will deal with them as a just and loving God. People are always trying to twist the scripture using isolated scriptures and wrong meanings of words to find another way that God cannot forgive a sin. Let God do it! Let Him be the mercy giver that he is. There are those who will be experiencing heavenly bliss in eternity who could not stand to live here on earth.
It is always important to remember that one act does not make them a murderer for all eternity. If a person were to give some medicine to someone at one time and it helped heal them does that make that person a doctor. An adulterer, murderer, sorcerer, sinner, etc. is one who keeps on doing it. It has become their lifestyle.
Response: Greetings in Jesus' name. You have endeavored to "correct" our material on suicide, yet have offered no Scripture. At this point your letter is invalidated, based on 2 Tim. 3:16,17.
Please note that "mental illness" is never found in the Bible as an excuse for any crime including suicide! In fact, just the opposite is stated about murder, which suicide would be included in. Jesus said:
You seem to believe that Christians can have demons, but offered no Scripture for this either.
You said the Lord told you about "an 80 year old woman was in heaven after she shot herself in the head because of the tremendous pain she was experiencing from Rheumatoid arthritis." That couldn't have been the Lord, since He will never contradict the Scriptures. (It appears that you are claiming to be a "prophet." Hence, since you are not really speaking out what comes from God, but saying it is, you would be a false prophet. Therefore, you need to repent.)
It only takes "one" act of murder (or adultery) to be a Bible-defined "murderer" or "adulterer":
Lev 20:10 "'If a man commits adultery with another man's wife--with the wife of his neighbor--both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death. He went on: "What comes out of a man is what makes him 'unclean.' For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and make a man 'unclean.'" (Mark 7:20-23)
There Jesus taught murder is from the "heart" and defiles the person. See also Rev. 21:8 and 1 John 3:15.
Num 35:16 "'If a man strikes someone with an iron object so that he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall be put to death.
To help people we must give them the Biblical message, even though it might not be popular or easy. Teachers are to "preach the word," which doesn't seem to be coming from you in your letter. GOD BLESS YOU.]
so.... in all reality live your life ignorantly until about 20 minutes before you die and then pray right? cool got it!!! don't or can't you realize that you and your inability to deal with your life and past is the reason why you feel so lost? booze, music, army, god? i mean come on!! i can only hope there is a heaven, so all you fools can be together and let the strong live. love jesus (if i were real i would be rich)
Response: If living for Jesus is for the weak, then why does it take courage to be a Christian? If you think being a real Christian is for sissies, then try and learn first-hand it isn't. Both Heaven and Hell are real. Don't follow the crowd to Hell. Turn from your sins and come to Jesus in repentance asking for mercy and live for him. You'll be glad you did at the Judgment and very sorry if not at the same.
I am a Catholic who accepted Jesus as personal savior a few days before Thanksgiving 1999. I do not believe that baptism results in salvation. I still consider it ok to baptize infants. I do not pray to the Virgin Mary or the Saints. I do not believe in purgatory. I do not believe that the pope is infallible. I do not believe that the Mass is a sacrifice. I do not believe in transubstantiation. I consider The Holy Eucharist to be just a symbol and memorial of The Last Supper. I do not go to confession. However, I do go to Communal Reconciliation Service, where we go to church and confess our sins directly to Jesus and then go up to the altar, where the priest lays hands on and gives a blessing. There are Catholic priests who preach about accepting Jesus as personal savior. The priest of the Catholic Church where I am a member of in South St. Paul, Minnesota, preaches quite often on accepting Jesus as personal savior. How can Evangelical Outreach Ministries consider The Catholic Church to be a religious cult? It does not fit the definition of a religious cult, which is a religious organization that does not believe in the deity of Christ.
Response: Greetings in Jesus' name. THANK YOU for your email. It was very exciting for me to read it since I was just like you at one point! I was raised a Roman Catholic. I changed after reading the Catholic New Testament. It was NOT easy for me to let go of the things I was taught as a Catholic, but I had a choice to make -- believe the things I was taught or the Bible.
My beginning with God started after I read Luke 18:9-14, where Jesus taught it was the man who sincerely prayed to God for mercy that went home justified. I realized I had never done that since I always went to the priest instead. I acted on the Scriptures and repented of my sins and got saved. My eyes were opened to more and more problems with Catholic doctrine as I read through the Catholic Bible. I finally left the Catholic church after reading the Fatima vision which stated that Mary was our refuge and way that would lead us to God. I knew I'd go to Hell if I trusted Mary as that Catholic vision was teaching, so I left the Catholic church, a move I never regretted.
Regarding your question:
Finally, please notice that the Bible NEVER says for us to go to Mary to get to Jesus! Never. Jesus always told sinners to come directly to himself (Mt. 11:28; 19:14; John 5:39,40; 6:37; 7:37; etc.). Have you read over our articles on Catholicism? www.evangelicoutreach.org/catholic.htm
GOD BLESS YOU.How can Evangelical Outreach Ministries consider The Catholic Church to be a religious cult? It does not fit the definition of a religious cult, which is a religious organization that does not believe in the deity of Christ.
... the Bible states it is just as bad to preach another gospel (which is a false plan of salvation) as it is to preach another Jesus in 2 Cor. 11:4. Moreover, Gal. 1:8,9 states that there is a divine anathema on anyone preaching another gospel and does NOT mention another Jesus there! This is what the Catholic church does, that is, it preaches another gospel (a wrong plan of salvation). The way of salvation I was taught was the sacraments, Mary, being a Roman Catholic, etc. This is not what the Bible says, which was written to make us wise unto salvation through faith in Christ Jesus (2 Tim. 3:15-17).
I have a question. I have been trying to learn all i can about the unforgivable sin of blasphemy of the holy spirit. I know you were saying that it is when a person really believes that Jesus did his miracles by the power of satan.
My question is exactly when does a person know if they have commited this sin, does the person have to believe form his heart or what if a person says this but doesnt mean it for some reason would they have commited this sin, some people I know asked me this question today and I told them I would ask you and tell them what you said.?
Thanks again ... for all of your help and thank you for your ministry God Bless
Response: The Bible doesn't answer the question, "exactly when does a person know if they have committed this sin, does the person have to believe from his heart or what if a person says this but doesn't mean it for some reason would they have committed this sin."
Sorry. All we know is what the Bible says:
And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem said, "He is possessed by Beelzebub! By the prince of demons he is driving out demons." So Jesus called them and spoke to them in parables: "How can Satan drive out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come. In fact, no one can enter a strong man's house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can rob his house. I tell you the truth, all the sins and blasphemies of men will be forgiven them. But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin." He said this because they were saying, "He has an evil spirit" (Mark 3:22-30).

... One of the reasons I think that most of the churches are going apostate is that most of the churches have signed a 501c3 tax exempt contract with the State. Now when you give yourself to the state, you accept an agreement with them that says "We will give you tax exempt status on your property taxes if you cease from preaching against anything from abortion to homosexuality and so on" ...
Response: You wrote:
The problem is deceived and backslide preachers that are not preaching the Word, NOT a 501c3 status.
GOD BLESS YOU. "Now when you give yourself to the state, you accept an agreement with them that says 'We will give you tax exempt status on your property taxes if you cease from preaching against anything from abortion to homosexuality and so on.'"
We don't know where you heard this but that is all wrong! We are a 501c3 tax exempt status and there are NO restrictions as to preaching against abortion and homosexuality as you have written. Just check over our materials.
Hi there! Your page on the sexually immoral going to Heaven was interesting. I just have one question. Are you saying that once someone commits an act of sexual immorality that they can NEVER go to Heaven? Let me be quite up front. In 1997-1998 timeframe I had an extra-marital affair, confessed it to my wife who then divorced me. It was arguably the worst mistake I've ever made in my life, and I have (of course) since repented of it and asked for the Lord's forgiveness not only for the adultery but for the destruction of my marriage. Now, my question is, according to your beliefs, did that act PERMANENTLY exclude me from ever entering Heaven?
I ask because I'm interested in your take on 1 Cor. 6:9&10 -- "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."
Since you have authored both a Web page and a book on grace and security, I would be fascinated with your answer! :-)
Look forward to hearing back from you!
Response: Greetings in Jesus' name.
Please know that we are not saying that a person who is sexually immoral must go to Hell. There is hope for such a person but only if he repents as King David and the prodigal did. If a sexually immoral person dies without repenting and finding forgiveness he will go to the lake of fire (1 Cor. 6:9,10; Rev. 21:8; Eph. 5:5-7; etc.). This holds true for a person who was previously saved the same as it would for someone who was never saved.
Since you have already repented and asked for forgiveness, please know that the promises of 1 Jn. 1:9 and Mt. 6:14,15 hold true. Isn't it an intense spiritual war that we are in? Many people are not carefully guarding their heart from spiritual pollutants and dangers that will drag them to Hell in spite of all the spiritual casualties we read of in the Bible. We have an important chapter from our book refuting eternal security on spiritual safeguards that should be able to help you walk uprightly before God. www.evangelicaloutreach.org/safegard.htm
Remember Gal. 6:8,9. GOD BLESS YOU.
Hello, My name is ... I am 45 and was converted outside an empty church when I was 17. My mind has been in turmoil for years, but I do not complain about this as by no means believe that such a condition is graceless. After my conversion, I joined the local Methodist Church and then "came out" because that was what all true evangelicals did. I joined a church affiliated to the Evangelical Movement of Wales -- which is staunchly Calvinistic. I enjoyed this experience as these people actually believed things -- but when I asked questions about Limited Atonement (namely, how can the saving work of the Lord Jesus Christ be in any way described as limited, and "atonement" which is exclusively an Old Testament concept?) met with only to be expected (in retrospect!) hostility. I do try to be obstinately open-minded, and when last Christmas I asked about what exactly the angel was sent to tell the Virgin Mary, I began to seek out the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church. This is something I will not even contemplate presenting to my ecclesiastical peers. My every attempt to re-establish my Protestant roots has "accidentally" uncovered material like your article. I have long believed that the Protestants caused as many persecutions as the Catholics and that the divisions in Christendom have been perpetuated rather than healed.
Why can't we just enjoy our Christian faith, which is the Gift of God to us? That way we could be one church on earth just as the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit are one in heaven. The descendants of the Inquisition and the Reformation need to learn more of their own crimes and and not be taught each other's. May the The Lord guide as we seek to read, study, pray and love this fallen world. I don't ask any more the question "What would Jesus do?" Now I ask "What is Jesus doing?" The answer is this: namely, that He is with us and He is praying for us. What is the outcome of all this? Everyone who believes this, believes that they have a continual personal (private!) relationship with them. What more can we do for others than what our Lord and Saviour is doing for us?
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours sincerely in Christ.
Response: Greetings in Jesus' name.
No doubt there are many "church" problems in our present hour, but one thing that must be stressed is how to find true salvation and what will cause loss of salvation. Many protestant groups erroneously believe nothing will cause loss of salvation, while the Catholic church has a very darkened concept that the sacraments, Mary and church membership all play a role in salvation. Many Catholics also think wearing the brown scapular will save them from the fires of hell. So there are many heresies and lies being believed around the world. For many articles on the errors of Roman Catholicism, please check this out http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/catholic.htm
True Christianity is a battle for truth and holiness. A person will behave in accordance with what he accepts as truth. And truth for a Christian must come from the Bible (2 Tim. 3:16,17). But many don't know the Biblical message. So there is a great need for true teachers.
We hope our large web site proves to be a blessing to you as you read the many articles and listen to the audio messages.
Remember Hebrews 3:12-14. GOD BLESS YOU.
... Eternal means forever. Not maybe they have eternal life, and eternal life is not taken away either. Eternal life is a gift from God and God does not renege on his gifts. He either gives all believers eternal life from the moment they believe or he doesn't ....
Response: Greetings in Jesus' name.
Please don't confuse "eternal" life with the POSSESSION of eternal life. The Bible teaches our possession of eternal life can cease, but that won't change that eternal life is still eternal. It was always "eternal" even before we took possession of it at the point of salvation. Amen! But none of this means anything to most eternal security proponents because they want to believe the deadly lie that they can be drunkards, liars, thieves, adulterers, murders, etc. and still retain their salvation. This concept that living immorally won't cause loss of salvation is a clear contradiction to Christianity and the grace that brings salvation. True grace is defined as:
Your explanations and arguments are answered in our 801 page book, which we will send to you free, if you'll read it.
You continue to believe in and spread a false gospel -- one that is very different from the one of the early Christians described in 1 Cor. 15:2. GOD BLESS YOU.Titus 2:12 It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age
But that isn't the "grace" of eternal security, which permits one to indulge in the sins of the wicked. Please notice this clear Scripture:
1 Cor 6:9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexuals 1 Cor 6:10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
See also Rev. 21:8; Eph. 5:5-7 and Gal. 5:19-21. Many have been deceived by eternal security and are on the road to hell at this moment and see no need to repent for salvation's sake. This must make the devil happy as the eternal security people continue to spread his original lie found in Gen. 3:4.
... She [a Jehovah's Witness] has been really nice to me (even though it is unfortunately in my cynical nature to wonder why, if she just wanted to suck me into her little cult) and so have her friends, and they gave me this stuff to read, and it grabbed me, basically because when one feels the world is so out of control, and is longing for some discipline and direction, the Awake magazine is really good at mixing (I guess what they consider) Biblical principle and things that are current to our world today.
So, I'm starting to feel that this stuff makes sense, even though I know there are discrepencies. But, I'm asking myself, what if they're right? It's so much easier to believe my husband is going to go to sleep instead of to hell. Their information is presented in an orderly style and a way that grabs one's interest, you know?
So I went to the kingdom hall place, where everyone was alo really nice. And the talk they gave was first about basically morality and how we can stay godly in the world today. I thought it was pretty right on. The second part was about Isiah, from the Watchtower magazine. Kim said it might be a little deep for me, since Isiah was a prophesy book. (I kind of wanted to tell her I KNEW that already, but ....)
My kids were getting squirmy about that time and I couldn't pay much attention. I looked at one of their Bibles and found some verses I recalled, but noted some of the verses were kind of .... different.
I went to lunch at these people's house afterward, and talked about the Bible. I asked some questions I had and they seemed to be able to back up everything they said, which I have to admit was impressive. The more impressive thing, to me, though....was that nothing seemed vague. I have read the Bible and have continually been confounded by things .... probably too many to go into right now.
I sometimes go to ... which is a killer church. They are Biblical, non denominational, very laid back and have an awesome p & w band.
But the church is crowded and though I have many people I say hi to and chat with .... I don't have any friends to keep me in the word or support me when my ... teases me unmercifully and tries to get me to talk in circles and trip up, because he's pretty anti any religion.
Well, thanks for reading if you've gotten this far. I don't plan on joining anything anytime soon, but I'm just at this point where I need an answer other than "Pray about it." I have. And I've not gotten any concrete answers. I know. Wait. I'm working on it. Thanks for listening.
Response: Greetings in Jesus' holy name.
It was with much interest that we (my wife and I) read your email this morning. THANK YOU for sharing a part of your life with us. No doubt the JWs can be very friendly people when they want to be, just like the Mormons! These groups specialize in drawing people into their groups. Many of these people are very lonely and in desperate need of someone to talk to. When this occurs and the JWs or Mormon missionaries see a possible convert they are ready to be your "friend."
But ... there is something much more important to look at than just their religious zeal or taking time to talk with us, and that is their doctrine. Now let me share a bit of my life with you. I was raised a Roman Catholic. In my early twenties I had a great hunger for God's word and started to read the Bible and got saved ... My only brother got interested in reading the Bible too. Unfortunately, he knew a former monk who was then a JW. This man told my brother he can't understand the Bible on his own. Hence, my brother made the fatal mistake of having a "bible" study (really a JW book study) with these people. He became a JW and seriously tried to convert me. By the mercy of God I was spared from being deceived by their Scriptural distortions. After I got proficient on refuting the JWs, I went in ALL the local kingdom halls around here and would have discussions (debates) with them. These people are sincere, but some Catholic priests are sincere too. Sincerity is not good enough! Neither is quoting the Bible, since the devil can do that too!
I was shocked to learn that the JWs think the Lord Jesus is Michael the archangel, the first and greatest creation of Jehovah God. It was with this doctrinal heresy in mind that I wrote the following article refuting their argumentation regarding this http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/jw's2.htm
Since my beginnings with the JWs in the mid 1970's, I've had many encounters with these people. They are quick to leave when they are talking to someone who knows how to answer them and to ask questions they don't have answers for.
I marvel at how accurate the Bible is. It is exactly like Jesus taught, that is, many false prophets have arisen and deceived many people:
The people you know that are your "friends" are there to convert you and make you zealous for the Watchtower Society. They are not really interested in you. To prove this, tell them dogmatically you will not become a JW and you'll see their friendship vanish. These same people have become "brainwashed." Shockingly, they think only the Watchtower Society can correctly interpret the Bible. Hence, if you or I disagree, we are wrong; since their Society is "Jehovah's Organization" it can't be wrong! This trust in this false prophet Society (who they think is God's channel of truth to planet earth) must be shaken to win these people to salvation. Some do get saved, but few find Biblical salvation after they become indoctrinated through their literature.
... FOR YOUR SOUL'S SAKE, we plead with you to break off all communications with these people and spend the next 3 or 4 months directly in the Bible alone with NO OTHER LITERATURE to deceive you in any way. Get pure truth by reading the Bible alone. You should spend your time in the New Testament so you can learn about Jesus and the salvation he taught of.
We are here to HELP you!!!!!!!!! Please don't hesitate to call us at 724-632-3210 or email us again. In fact, PLEASE do write us back. Let us know what you think about our letter to you.
True salvation is found in Jesus not any organization. To have him and the forgiveness of sins the Bible speaks of, repent (turning from sin) and place your (submissive) faith in Jesus (Acts 20:21). Call out to Jesus sincerely for mercy and forgiveness (Rom. 10:13; Lk. 23:42,43). Stephen prayed to Jesus so don't be reluctant to do this (Acts 7:59,60).
GOD BLESS YOU and GUIDE YOU.Mat 24:11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.
The founder of the JWs and his successors were all false prophets! The present day JWs will try to slip out of these devastating false prophecies, but it doesn't change anything. They are still false prophets! Remember, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, etc. never had to say as the JWs do, "the light gets brighter and brighter" to cover up their false prophecies.
I was trying to make sense of the senseless tragedy that devestated the life of my friend today. she has lost two friends who were very dear to her, both in the same day, to suicide.
I just want you to know that Jesus doesn't send people to hell, especially not people who are that sad and lost.
These people you are trying to reach are beyond judgement. They've tried very hard for a very long time, and they're just about ready to end it forever. This might be your last chance to reach these people. Don't let the last thing they hear before they leave this world be you hating their sin. Tell them that you love them, and mean it. Tell them that God loves them, and forgives them, because God does. There is nothing, in this world or the next, that can separate you from the mercy of God.
I trust in God that these people will not be damned. They tried for a very long time and held their courage for as long as they could. These people have lived their hell already. I pray to God that this will be enough.
If they were guilty of any sin, it was simply feeling and caring too much, and too deeply.
I want you to believe me. I want you to hear me.
Lord Jesus, come quickly.
Response: Greetings in Jesus' name.
You wrote:
GOD BLESS YOU.I just want you to know that Jesus doesn't send people to hell, especially not people who are that sad and lost.
You can't back that statement up with the Scriptures. Furthermore, multitudes of people are sent to Hell for various reasons, many of which are suicides. Suicide is self-murder. A murderer will go to lake of fire (Rev. 21:8). To teach otherwise is to dream up some fantasy in your mind that has nothing to do with God's truth. Please stick to the Bible and let go of these preconceived ideas you have at present. The Bible is final authority (2 Tim. 3:16,17).
Quick question -
I read your articel with interest and quiet fear - how many times have you lost your salvation - because I sin every day. My righteousness comes from the BLOOD - no?
Yours in HIM
Response: All sins are not the same in their effect on our souls. Some sins are greater than others (Jn. 19:11). One type is eternal (Mk. 3:29), while others are not. Another type of sin is uniquely against our bodies, while others sins are outside our bodes (1 Cor. 6:18). 1 Jn. 5:16 declares there is a sin that does not lead to death while there is a sin that leads to death. Sins such as worry (Phil. 4:6), unthankfulness (Col. 2:7, 3:15; Lk. 17:11-18) and not being completely humble and gentle (Eph. 4:2) are not included in any of the lists of sins that will send people to the lake of fire, even if there were once saved. However, other sins certainly will send any person to hell if they die unrepentant, even a person that was once saved. See (1 Cor. 6:9,10; Rev. 21:8; Gal. 5:19-21; Eph. 5:5,6; Jude 7; Rev. 22:15; etc.).
Also, please know that Jesus could see the sins of those who were previously saved, as shown in Rev. 2 & 3! To say God doesn't see our sin after we get saved is a dangerous lie that lull people into a spiritual stupor -- one which will enable such to yield to deadly sins much easier.
Please consider getting our 801 page book refuting eternal security, "The Believer's Conditional Security." There is much in that you have never heard before.
Remember Gal. 6:8,9 is a salvation passage, not a rewards passage. We know this because of the words "eternal life."
GOD BLESS YOU.
I recently viewed your article on the mother of the church. You made several points about how Jesus told his apostle that Mary was now his mother and that the apostle was now his son as he died on the cross. Saying that this is being taken out of context and the rest of your perposterous examples present no evidence against the following: Mary was the mother of Jesus. Jesus is the church that I put my faith in. If Christians believe in Christ than they obviously believe in his mother. Saying that people who seek the help of Mary are worshipping false idols is rediculous. Please have respect for all Christians as we all put our faith in Jesus Christ and how we choose to worship him is our choice.
A believer
Response: Greetings in Jesus' name.
According to the Bible, no one ever sought the help of Mary. She was a godly woman, but many others were likewise very godly. She is not our mediatrix, queen of Heaven, mother of mercies, etc., according to the Bible. To embrace that she is, is to go against the Scriptures, which are the Christian's final authority (2 Tim. 3:16,17).
To find salvation, turn from your sins and place a submissive faith in Jesus as your Savior and Lord (Acts 20:21; 1 Thess 1:9; Gal. 5:24; Lk. 8:21; etc.). Also, you must endure to the end to enter God's kingdom (Mt. 10:22; Heb. 3:14).
GOD BLESS YOU.
