(EMAIL) I have a question that has been bothering me, and haven’t noticed the answer on your website. There are those who teach that when we die, we remain unconscious in the grave until the resurection, and then there are those that teach when we die we leave the body, are aware, and later reunited with the body upon resurrection. Please be so kind as to tell me your thoughts on this. Thank you so very much.
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
When a Christian dies he goes “home” to be with the Lord in his presence (Heaven). He is conscious and will be reunited with his body, but a changed immortal body not subject to sickness or injury. When the non-Christian dies he goes straight to fiery torment and will remain there until the resurrection of the wicked when he too will be given a body that likewise will not be corruptible like ours now.
Please look over these many articles refuting the JWs. More info is cited here http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/jehovah.htm

(EMAIL) I briefly looked over the Catholicism section of your site and I am glad to see some people can actually see the catholic church for being a cult. I used to be catholic but the wonderful grace of the Lord saved me out of that evil harlot church. BUT, all of my friends and family are still catholic, as well as my wife. It’s hard to watch them wear scapulars, pray to mary, recite rosarys etc. They truly mean to do well by doing these things but they are lost and it’s very sad. My wife and I have 3 small children and she wants them to be catholic. We fight over this almost daily. It will be over my dead body that my kids become catholic. This division is killing our marriage. If you have any advice or recommendations for a Bible Berean Christian who is married to a catholic please let me know. Thanks for speaking the truth on the evil catholic church. I will review the rest of your site as I get time to see your viewpoints on the other false religions and teachers ... Thanks for exposing catholicism ....
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
It is a blessing to read that you know the Catholic church is NOT Christian. Our day is so dark and filled with sin and false doctrine people can’t seem to recognize this even though all the devotion to Mary, etc. done through Catholicism. Sorry to read about your family. Remember, the entrance of God’s word brings light. That’s how my eyes were opened, as a staunch Catholic convinced Roman Catholicism was the truth.
Do you know about our book, “Is this The Mary of The Bible?” http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/catholic.htm
Also, often when people leave the Catholic church they immediately get snared by the teaching of eternal security. We also have much material on this HERESY too.
GOD BLESS YOU. Heb. 12:14.

(EMAIL) Hi, I came across your website a couple of days ago. I grew up in the ______ Church, but I never really believed we could lose our salvation, even though it is what the ________ Church believes. But, after much research, prayer, and Bible study, I believe that the Once Saved, Always Saved doctrine is unbiblical. I am currently writing a paper about it, but I am a bit confused about what constitutes deliberate sin. I know what it means, but I wonder whether the condition of our hearts plays any role in whether or not we lose our salvation over a deliberate sin.
Recently, I read the story of a young man who was invited to party that was taking place later in the week. He said that he knew that he would be drinking at the party and would probably get drunk. Through the week, he prayed that God would take away his desire to drink, but admitted that it was a half-hearted prayer, and that he wanted to get drunk because it is fun. So, he went to the party, and got drunk. But after it was over, he felt regret for his sin. Though he knew he would probably sin, he made the active choice to go to the party anyway, BUT his heart for God never changed. His intentions weren’t malicious or meant to be an “in your face God” statement. He never stopped loving God or having faith in him. He posted this on a Christian message board, and was asking about his situation in reference to Hebrews 10:26-27. Of course, all the replies to his question were from firm believers in OSAS. But from the viewpoint of someone who believes in conditional security, I wonder, would this situation constitute losing salvation? Does our love for God play a part in conditional security?
I would deeply appreciate any thoughts you might have on this subject.
God Bless and thank you for your time and ministry.

“Deliberate” sin is tough to know in detail. The prodigal committed deliberate sin and got forgiven, but those in Heb. 10 couldn’t. WHY? It must be because they deliberately committed eternal sin to go back to the synagogue.
Please know that if one gets drunk he shows by his disobedience that he is NOT loving God. See 1 John 5:3 and John 14:23,24.
We believe that we are saved by grace (Eph. 2:8,9) but we can fall from grace (Gal. 5:2-4). We are justified by faith (Rom. 5:1) but our faith can become shipwrecked (1 Tim. 1:19,20) and cease to exist (Lk. 8:13; Rom. 11:19-23). We are not under the law (Rom. 6:14,15) but if you live according to the sinful nature you will die (Rom. 8:13). Paul taught against legalism (Gal. 5:3,4) but he also taught that no immoral, impure or greedy person has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God (Eph. 5:5-7). We are not saved by works (Eph. 2:8,9) but to reap eternal life and not destruction you must sow to please the Spirit and not the sinful nature (Gal. 6:8,9). God is faithful to us (1 Jn. 1:9; 1 Cor. 10:13) but we must be faithful to him to the very end of our lives to escape the lake of fire or second death (Rev. 2:10,11). God surely loves us (Jn. 3:16; Mk. 10:21; Rom. 8:35-39) but those who inherit the kingdom of God love God (Jam 2:5; 1 Cor. 2:9) and to love God means to obey his commands (Jn. 14:15; 1 Jn. 5:3). We have freedom in Christ (Gal. 5:1) but this freedom is not to indulge the sinful nature (Gal. 5:13; 1 Pet 2:16).
Please consider getting our 801 page book refuting eternal security entitled, “The Believer’s Conditional Security.” There is MUCH in it that can help you better understand this salvation related subject. http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/whatsnew.htm
Remember Gal. 6:8,9 is a SALVATION passage not a rewards passage. GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) Hi. I have committed horrible sins. Here’s my story. My girlfriend and I had intercourse for about a year. I don’t remember if I repented during that year I probably did some, but I didn’t fight it. Later I discovered a passage in the bible that said fornicators would not inherit the Kingdom. I started fighting it (for about a year), but I still lost many battles. Recently I have beat it. I don’t do it anymore. The conviction of guilt I felt was strong (It came from reading Hebrews) I couldn’t sleep well and that is all I thought about and it still is. AM I FORGIVEN? Can someone commit the sin unto death and know it and repent it?
Please answer in your honest opinion. What denomination is this? Arminian?
Here’s a hypothetical situation if a couple had intercourse and then got married and decided to repent after marriage would it be true repentance since they would not be capable of committing it again? ....

GOOD NEWS, though sexual sin will damn your soul to hell, you can get forgiven. It is NOT unforgiveable. Remember David committed adultery and murder and got forgiven. The Prodigal was in wild living and sexual sin with prostitutes and got forgiven and James 5:19,20 teaches you can be forgiven of a multitude of sins.
Hebrews 6:4-6 refers to eternal sin, which is NOT sexual sin. Eternal sin is saying Jesus had a demon and by the power of the devil he cast out demons (Mark 3:22-30). Sexual sin is DEADLY and it is a good thing you have stopped. If you haven’t sincerely and humbly asked God to have mercy on you with a willingness to turn from your wickedness to serve God, then you need to do this to get forgiven. Your faith needs to be in JESUS 100% for your salvation. Please read this teaching, which perhaps relates to your situation http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/prodigal.htm
I don’t know if you know about being a real Christian or not. Please read this http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/newconverts.htm

(EMAIL) It is my desire to live for God wholeheartedly, but i have a problem. I am 47 when i was a teenager i started a masturbation problem that has plagued me my whole life and the root cause for my divorce i believe. I’ve spent my whole adult life wanting to be a “great christian” but fighting against a masturbation problem. I think masturbation is wrong because of the fantasy issues involved(lust) .... I am divorced and still have a problem with masturbation. I don’t think remarriage is an option because i was “put away”. I’ve read your article on remarriage. I think my best option is to become a eunuch and serve God that way (that seems wonderful to me-though every pastor i spoke to seems to scoff at that, they say i can remarry because my wife abandoned me). Oh, i’ve had real difficulty succeeding in every other area of my life, finances etc. because of my doublemindedness ... please can u give some advice to help this desperate man ...
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
God can and will set you free from any and all sin addictions, but you must be willing to REPENT. By that I mean NEVER do that again, EVEN IF YOU FEEL YOU’LL GO CRAZY UNLESS YOU DO!!! DO NOT DO IT AGAIN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. With God’s help you can and will get the victory.
Saturate your mind with Scripture and stop watching TV which is a LUST GENERATOR and FROM THE DEVIL. Please read this http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/salvationps.htm
