(EMAIL) I have viewed your site and read many of your comments. I think that they are very well written. I have read about and am familiar with most of those mentioned in regards to teaching false information. I am however in disagreement with your stance on salvation. I agree with much of what you had to say in your statements about salvation, but you didn’t go far enough. Baptism is a very important part of ones salvation. In fact, one cannot be secured in their salvation until one becomes baptized into Jesus Christ.
Again, I am in full agreement with what you have written in all of your topics: Losing Ones Salvation, Calvinism, Eternal Security, Catholicism and etc. I find very few who have a similar belief like you and I, but I am wondering if you have ever researched the area of baptism to any length? I have much to say about this and can provide many scriptures to show the need to also include baptism along with belief, faith, confession, repentance, grace and mercy.
Thanks for your reply.
(REPLY) _________ please read this carefully http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/baptism.htm
One comes to initial salvation WITHOUT water baptism, but to reject such afterwards could lead to being a shipwreck of the faith (1 Tim. 1:18-20).
GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) I am writing to express my anger and insult at your article about Mary. You people need to wake up. Jesus is Lord and Catholics only Worship HIM. When we HONOR (not worship) Mary it is because of her example as the first and only Christian disciple to reach be saved by Christ’s redemptive sacrifice, plus by virtue of her unique relationship to Christ she deserves special honor. The statues were never mandatory in Catholic worship. They are visual aids not idols. God could not have had a problem with religious art otherwise he wouldn’t have ordered the Ark of the Covenant to be built with it’s Golden cherub, etc. You need to view photos of the earliest Christian Churches in the Holy Land and see for your self that Religious art was used in during the New Testament period. Not only that but you need to remember that Christ never ordered the New Testament to be written rather it was the sacred TRADITION of the Catholic Church that gave birth to the Christian Scriptures by the Holy Spirit’s inspiration. The Fruits of weeping statues are an increased faith in Jesus Christ manifested through miracles and mass conversions to Christ. Ask Catholic who is their God and they will surely respond with the Holy Name of Jesus. It’s never required for Catholics to ask Mary for her Prayers but time has shown that Jesus honors those who love His mommy. God Bless.
(REPLY) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
What we have stated on our web site is referenced (or could be) from authoritative Catholic sources. We have not misrepresented Catholicism. This I know especially since I was once a staunch Catholic myself.
You have been taught that Mary deserves special honor for various reasons, but one never sees this in the New Testament by the early Christians. Those early Christians were certainly not like Catholics today. If you have read the New Testament completely for yourself this should be apparent.
Statues in Catholicism are never stated as “visual aids” as you call them. They are supposed to be a means of passing on veneration to the ones they represent, according to Catholic dogma. To bow before and/or kiss an image in a religious way is idolatrous and clearly condemned in the 10 commandments (Exodus 20:4,5). While it is true there were images in the holy of holies, they were NEVER bowed down to and/or venerated (or kissed) as forbidden in Ex. 20:4,5. (BTW, did you know venerate is a synonym for “worship”?)
It was the Holy Spirit that inspired the writers of the New Testament. The Scriptures are final authority, based on 2 Tim. 3:15-17. You can NOT prove the “tradition” of Catholicism is the tradition of 2 Thess. 2:15. Especially destructive to Catholicism is the tradition of the rosary, which is a clear violation to Jesus’ teaching on prayer to be done to the Father and not repetitiously (Mt. 6:6,7).
The MAIN problem with Catholicism is the false plan of salvation being taught—the sacraments, Mary and being a Catholic are all supposed to play a role in salvation, according to this system. This is dangerously false. You must TRUST IN JESUS 100% FOR YOUR SALVATION with an obedient faith to have salvation. Please read the Bible and change accordingly. Your soul is in the greatest danger.
GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) People are destroyed for lack of knowledge. What in the _____ are we to believe? I don’t want to be ignorant or made to feel as such, but there are so many diverse teachings out here how does a new convert know WHAT to believe?
For three years I have seriously read and studied (trying to understand) the Bible and the different translations. I try to see that what I listen to is bible based. In my quest to seek more knowledge I picked up and read every Christian book I come across. Just as I feel comfortable in a teaching the very next one contradicts it.
(REPLY) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
We are VERY SORRY for the disappointment and frustration you are in. Such often comes with the quest for God’s truth. Because there are MANY false teachers around (2 Tim. 4:3,4; 2 Pet. 2:1,2; etc.), to hear the plain and simple truths of God are not always easy to locate because these counterfeiters are spreading the false as the genuine. You won’t ever know what the truth is unless you learn the message of the Bible for yourself.
Do this: SHUT OFF all teaching sources (TV, radio, internet, books, etc.) and ONLY READ THE NEW TESTAMENT without any commentary or study aids! (Often “study Bibles” are a deceptive means to spread a false doctrine in a covert way.) Read several reputable translations of the Bible and MEMORIZE certain verses. God’s truth should shine forth if you do this and earnestly seek his truth.
GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) well God BLESS you for having an actual debate forum concerning the fallacies of Mary’s role in Catholicism!! It amazes me how many Catholics adhere to their deviations from the bible .... and in a brain-washed mind-set, refuse to see the Truth!!! Seeing you was a breath of fresh air!!
(REPLY) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
Thanks for the kind words. There are MANY Catholics who are sincere and would come to true salvation if they would get exposed to the truth, but they never do because of various problems, especially the ecumenical movement.
It is a blessing to read that you know the serious differences between Catholicism and God’s truth (Bible). Did you know we have a book for Catholics? It is entitled, Is This The Mary of the Bible?
May God help you and us as we hold out the word of truth to people.
GOD BLESS YOU. Heb. 3:14.

(EMAIL) I want to know what else can be done to get rid of a demon. Until I read your article, other pastors had me convinced that a saved person could not be demon possessed. My _____ was an avid Harry Potter book reader and after a demonic episode a few months ago, my aunt got rid of everything that could have been a doorway for an attack. Well that was probably in February when it happened. Last night, the demon came back after my cousin got in trouble for lying about her whereabouts. She is 14 years old and has always been immature for her age. She behaves like that of a 10 year old kid. We have read scriptures over her, commanded the demon to come out in Jesus’ name, prayed over her. I do not know what else to do. What do you suggest?
(REPLY) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
It is true that a saved person can NOT have a demon. If your relative has a demon, she is NOT a Christian now even though she might have been one in the past. Remember the Apostle Judas Iscariot was once a disciple of Jesus (Mt. 10:1-4) and afterwards got possessed by Satan himself (John 13:27).
Witchcraft will damn a person to the lake of fire (Rev. 21:8). MULTITUDES have been deceived about this by the Harry Potter books, films, etc. Your relative needs to repent. She needs to humbly go to God for mercy and spiritual cleansing. (People with demons can do this. A man with 2000 or more demons could NOT be stopped from coming to Jesus for forgiveness, Luke 8:26-39.)
She should also renounce the devil and his wicked works like witchcraft, etc. She is the one that needs to change. You can also pray, FAST and show her what the Bible teaches about all of this. This should help too.
GOD BLESS YOU.
