(EMAIL) I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He is God, that he died for my sins and was raised for my justification. I am a backslider. I have turned my back on God and His Son by my evil and sinful lifestyle. I am a drug user, a drunkard, a pornographer and an adulterer as well as a thief, liar, murderer (in my heart), and an idolatrous, son of Satan. I hate my sin and my apostasy and I ask that you would pray for my miserable soul that God would be merciful to me and grant me true repentance to love and to serve Him as I once did. I have made shipwreck of my life and my faith, but I have never stopped reading the Bible and seeking his face. I am beginning to see that Calvinism is Satanic. There are many things about it that are alluring, such as God’s Sovereignty, but it hasn’t helped me to live a holy life, as the scriptures you quote have shown me what I have become, repulsive and perverted and deserving of Hell. I have blasphemed Christ by turning back to the world and its lusts. If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse of our unrighteousness. I have been a “Christian” for over twenty years, but most of those years I have spent with the swine and the prostitutes, if you will. I pray that I am not like Esau, and have not sold my birthright for a bowl of worldly stew. Again, please pray for me that God will be merciful to me a sinner and grant me to turn from my wicked ways and serve Him in truth and humility and love and holiness! I have believed the preachers of lawlessness for too long. It is a long and frightening road to my grave, one in which I must cling to the truth that He is faithful to forgive and cleanse a repentant sinner, no matter how evil. Thank you for your time.

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

The first step in coming to salvation is realizing you are not saved. You are already there. Now you need to humbly and sincerely ask God for mercy and tell him you are going to serve him. Have you read the articles on the backslider? God wants YOU back. Read these http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/backslider.htm

Don’t let the devil beat on you because you have been his servant. We can all do that and only grieve. Purpose that you will NOW be a FAITHFUL FOLLOWER OF JESUS TO THE VERY END. Make it your goal to be AN HONOR TO JESUS. Read this article too http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/newconverts.htm

(EMAIL) God has really taken me on a journey the past few months. I used to believe in once saved always saved and then found your website and was greatly challenged in my beliefs. During the last few months I’ve been reading alot of material on Conditional Security vs Once Saved Always Saved. Of course this lead me to read much on Calvinism which I did not have much knowledge of beforehand and other views on the topic. The result has been confusion as most arguments can be persuasive. It wasn't until I really started to ardently search the Bible myself that I have come to the belief that we can lose our salvation. However, there are a couple of passages of scripture that I can’t quite comprehend within the framework of one’s salvation. Do the above passages refer to people who have backslidden or does to backslide mean that one wasn't a Christian to begin with? Could you PLEASE give me your understanding on these passages because I’m really confused. I feel that until I understand what these passages are saying that things are incomplete for me.

God Bless you and thank you.

Please read this http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/hebrews.htm

That should answer your questions about Heb. 6 and 10. Remember also that James 5:19,20, Luke 15:24;32 and Rom. 11:19-23 all teach one can return to the Lord and God will take him back. Heb. 6 and 10 are the exception because they committed ETERNAL SIN, which is not forgivable. They had to do that to return to the synagogue, which was the pressure for them.

Please consider getting our 801 page book refuting eternal security entitled, “The Believer’s Conditional Security.” There is MUCH in it that can help you better understand this salvation related subject. http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/whatsnew.htm

Remember Gal. 6:8,9 is a SALVATION passage not a rewards passage. GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) I pray this goes thru to you. I must say I was shocked, as I finally found someone that will preach as I preach. I am not a regular preacher, just a lady that knows truth . You cant hardly get anyone to speak these truths today. WOWOW, WE are about to give up on churches, as all teach this heresay of OSAS. I have a friend right now that is questioning this and has always believed it, first I did, was send this article that just came. Do you know any spirit filled churches out there that will still preach this message. We are tired of the greasy grace messages they preach in church. ITs either anything goes today and grace has you covered, or its legalism. There is true obedience to God tho and it must be preached, as it is required of God. WHy would God have us washed clean by the blood of Jesus, to only allow us to stay in sin and stay filthy and then still be saved? Why wash us clean at all then? This is a false teaching and it leads so many to believe they can live like hell and still be saved. How thrilling it is to hear someone actually speaking this truth again. God bless you.

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

Thank you for the nice words. We are glad to find you too! No doubt the so-called churches are FAR from God and his truth. Of all the heresies, ONLY ONE will try to convince a Christian that he can be an adulterer, drunk, liar, thief and murder and remain saved—eternal security. It is the devil’s BEST.

We believe that we are saved by grace (Eph. 2:8,9) but we can fall from grace (Gal. 5:2-4). We are justified by faith (Rom. 5:1) but our faith can become shipwrecked (1 Tim. 1:19,20) and cease to exist (Lk. 8:13; Rom. 11:19-23). We are not under the law (Rom. 6:14,15) but if you live according to the sinful nature you will die (Rom. 8:13). Paul taught against legalism (Gal. 5:3,4) but he also taught that no immoral, impure or greedy person has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God (Eph. 5:5-7). We are not saved by works (Eph. 2:8,9) but to reap eternal life and not destruction you must sow to please the Spirit and not the sinful nature (Gal. 6:8,9). God is faithful to us (1 Jn. 1:9; 1 Cor. 10:13) but we must be faithful to him to the very end of our lives to escape the lake of fire or second death (Rev. 2:10,11). God surely loves us (Jn. 3:16; Mk. 10:21; Rom. 8:35-39) but those who inherit the kingdom of God love God (Jam 2:5; 1 Cor. 2:9) and to love God means to obey his commands (Jn. 14:15; 1 Jn. 5:3). We have freedom in Christ (Gal. 5:1) but this freedom is not to indulge the sinful nature (Gal. 5:13; 1 Pet 2:16).

Even though you already know eternal security is false you could still get much out of our books that should help you bring others out of this heresy.

We send you a holy hand shake in the Lord. Heb. 3:14. GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) Thank you for the article “Backslider, God Wants You Back” by Dan Corner. EXCELLENT!!! My husband committed an act of sexual immorality and grieved like the man in your article. Although it was a brief encounter, it still brought him much shame, pain, suffering & grief because he said he sinned against God & me. He is not just “back on track” now, but a better man of God than ever. He, like the prodigal son, had no shame in coming back to the Father & was willing to accept anything (even divorce) because he felt like he deserved less, but now I can show him or confirm that not only did God receive him back, but killed the fatted calf!!!!! God celebrates true repentance. Amen!! (You see, someone else (Christian) told me that he was never a believer if he did that & no hope. I knew that was not right. The devil is a liar.) Bless you!! Your scripturally based article has brought us much peace. Thank you & all the glory to God!!

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

We are glad the article ministered to you and/or your husband. Many people have contacted us over the years wondering if God would take them back or not because of their turning to sin. Hence, that article was written to show that the sincere and repentant can get forgiven.

The important thing now is that you and your husband draw close to God. Please read this article for essential helps to do that http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/newconverts.htm

If you want a free ministry packet, send us your address. Remember Eph. 6:11-18. GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) In a nut shell, according to you, no one can be saved because you claim a born-again believer can lose his salvation. We all sin daily. No one can reach perfection in this life. Man is flawed and defective and is nothing without Christ. If we can lose our salvation, then what must we DO to regain salvation? You are teaching a “works” ministry which is not scriptual. That is exactly what the cults teach with their false doctrines and false teachers! There is nothing we can do to save ourselves. You are making Christ out to be a liar by claiming His complete atoning work on the cross isn’t enough. Jesus said: confess with your mouth and believe that He is the Messiah. Once we are spiritually born-again, we are sealed to Christ forever and no man or devil can snatch us out of His hand. Christ would have to die again and again if we can so easily lose our salvation!!!

I pray you will find the truth

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

We have read the essence of your email hundreds of times from others. Like them, you have been adversely affected to think like that by these eternal security teachers. You are just a listener and not a Bible reader and doer.

First, what we teach is what the Lord Jesus and his apostles taught. It is not original with us. We are not heretics, but Christians. We love the Lord Jesus and submissively trust him 100% for our own salvation.

Second, contrary to the Bible you think we must all sin all the time (and all sins are of the same degree). This is part of the eternal security falsehood about sin. It is clearly not true that we must sin all the time. An important article was written on that subject. Here is the link for you to verify with your Bible http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/abovesin.htm

We believe we can “obey” God. You don’t believe anyone can.

Third, we do not believe we must be “perfect.” There are different degrees of sins. Sins that do not lead to death will not cause loss of salvation.

Fourth, to repeat what the Lord and his apostles taught is not a “works” salvation. If it is for us, then it was for them too. Please read this http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/workssalvation.htm

Fifth, there is NO Scripture that can be connected to eternal security and the infinite work of Christ! We believe in the infinite work of Christ. You are not original in your argument. You are just repeating what you heard. This is apparent since it is a common but irrational and unsupported argument against a conditional security.

Sixth, Jesus taught many things about “salvation” that have been overlooked and avoided by the eternal security teachers. Notice this truth about SALVATION: “All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.” (Mat 10:22)

Seventh, to rely on the “seal” argument is also weak and unfounded. Paul never thought the “seal” would prevent loss of salvation. Ponder 1 Tim. 1:19,20. MANY other verses can also be cited. No Scriptures says the “seal” can’t be broken.

(EMAIL) Hello Im really disturbed I have people I care for that are Calvinists or the one Im not sure of attends calvinistic church so might be. Are Calvinist going to heaven. This is very important to me. Thank you

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

A true Calvinist thinks he gets “regenerated” BEFORE he can have faith and repent!! They also think they are elected to salvation WITHOUT any choice on their part (while others will never be able to get saved)! As bad as these are, they also believe/teach in the devil’s first lie— eternal security. Finally, they link all of those heresies to the “gospel” and “grace.” Could such people have true salvation??

GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) Please help me. I am desperate. I feel I have committed a sin unto death. I was saved and kept on sinning in a sexual way. I thought I was saved because I believed in Jesus. Now I understand about being obedient. I have repented and asked for forgiveness, turned from my sin but now I dont feel the presence of God I am terrified. I dont want to be lost. I love Jesus and God and the Holy Spirit. Please give me any hope you may feel the Holy Scriptures have to offer. I thank you. May God have mercy on us all.

God bless you

Jesus be with you

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

Sexual sin can be forgiven. This is clear from various Scriptures such as the Prodigal (Luke 15:11-32). Also David got forgiven after his adultery and murder. For David, after he repented, there apparently was a time (even though he was forgiven) that he never had the joy of his salvation (Psa. 51:12). I know a man like that who did get the joy and peace back again after he lost his salvation, but it took awhile.

Stay in the Bible and remember this: If you draw near to God he will draw near to you. Please read this http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/newconverts.htm

(EMAIL) In (book - name withheld) he states that no one is currently in Hell at the moment. Do you believe this? Incidentally, ______ rightly says that Jesus\’ warnings about Hell were directed to believers as well as unbelievers.

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

The wicked dead are NOW in fiery torment in hades. Please read about the rich Jewish man who died in his sins and was damned (Luke 16:19-31). The same lost soul will, in the future after the 1,000 year reign, appear before the judgment of God and then be thrown into the lake of fire (Rev. 20:12-15).

It is true that Jesus warned both the saved and unsaved about hell, which is in itself an indirect argument against the heresy of eternal security, but most have never thought such out or noticed that saved people got hell warnings too!

Since it seems that you might be a _______ fan, please know that we disagree with him regarding a few things, especially about a saved person committing acts of sexual sin and remaining saved. In his book ______________ he states in so many words that the 1 Cor. 5:1-5 fornicator was still saved in that wickedness! That is very dangerous. Please read these http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/spiritualdeath.htm
