(EMAIL) im so confused on what to believe i grew up in a christian home (i was adopted) anyways at 13 i got locked up and was locked up on and off till i was 19 i did about 4 years all together i was into wicca when i was locked up when i got out a year ago i came to live with my aunt at the time she was a jehovah’s witness and i sat in on a lot of their groups and went to their church i was still wiccan at this time but after a while they made sense their teachings are backed up with scripture its about interpretation i didnt convert to jw but they did convince me to quit practicing wicca but then my aunt got thrown out the church cuz they found out she was having a relationship with someone out of marriage ...so ive never went back or picked up a bible since then. why does there have to be religion whats its purpose whats its main objective since the beginning of religion it has been used as a way to control people and start wars is religion the answer or is doing away with it the answer everyone thinks that what they believe is right but who is to say whats right who really knows? the same thing u say about jws they say about christians and envy other religions its like everyone pointing at each other trying to expose the fraud and everyones trying to convince others to join them cuz they say they hold the truth& people are stuck in between this mess with no idea who to trust so they just... forget about god or spirituality and chose to keep it simple by believing in nothing

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name. It can be very confusing and frustrating to know which religious group/s are right or wrong, especially if one is not seeking all his answers from the Bible. The only hope any person has is in the pages of Scripture which will point us to JESUS. Your association with wicca and the Jehovah’s Witnesses could confuse the issue more, but it doesn’t have to. Please drop all preconceived ideas, read the New Testament for yourself and change accordingly. Make sure you are not reading the New World Translation which is a PERVERSION of God’s word. The Bible is the PROVEN word of God. Please see

http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/bible.htm and

http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/wordgod.htm

The Jehovah’s Witnesses are not like other religious groups. The JWs think their headquarters alone can correctly understand the Bible and therefore only repeat what the literature says from their own headquarters. Christians read the Bible for themselves and let the Holy Spirit lead them into truth. To become a real Christian you must come to JESUS. He is your ONLY hope. To do this, humbly and repentantly ask God for mercy and forgiveness because of your many sins and offenses against him and because they are dragging you to hell. Turn from all your idols (sins) to God to serve him. You must follow Jesus in this sinful world to be a Christian. You must put into practice his truth to be part of his spiritual family. In Jesus you have a wonderful and thrilling future beyond the grave in God’s paradise kingdom. Now you must deny yourself, take up your cross daily and follow him. Your SOUL is your most valuable possession. Please live by Scripture for your own sake. To disregard that is to do it to your own eternal harm. See 1 Cor. 6:9-11; Rev. 21:8.

(EMAIL) I am not trying for one second to disprove the Bible I love God with all my heart, and I beleive that the Bible is the Inspired word of God. I believe that Jesus Christ lived and died and rose again. Where we differ is that I beleive that jesus came to save all mankind from sin. He accomplished this on the cross. He paid for every single sin from every single human being.( Rom 11:32 Rom 5:18 1Corinthians 15.22 Colossians 1:20). This does not exclude the unrepentant sinner from punishment, all un repentant sinners will be punished for the time necessary to bring about there voluntary confession of Christ. Thus the first fruits those of us who are in the service of Jesus Christ will be rewarded with a position of leadership in the millenial kingdom. Look at 1 Timothy 4:10 (and for this we labor and strive),that we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all men and especially of those who beleive. Remember that this is the inspired word of god that the Apostle Paul was being led by the Holy Spirit when he wrote and especially those who beleive. This phrase alludes to what God has led me to believe Jesus Christ has paid the price to save all men and indeed all men will be saved eventually as all men com to claim Jesus Christ as their Savior. It also give us ,the first fruits the position in the millenial kingdom. True there other places in the Bible namely Mathew 25:46 that actualy mention eternal punishment . And in these places I recomend a Study of the word Aionos and what it meant at the time that this was written. You will probably also run into the Hebrew word Olam if . And in studying these I have found that they are not indicative of eternity as unending time but as an indefinite time perhaps even an incredibly long time but finite time . God loves each and every one of his children. Jesus Christ came and died on the cross to draw all men unto his self. Any less than every single human being means that Jesus Christ and God have both failed in their plans. God is love Love never fails. God Bless

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name. In other words you believe in Universalism. Do you believe the devil and demons will be saved too? Some Universalists believe that way. There is no doubt that one can focus in upon a select few Scriptures and ignore or avoid the vast majority on this subject and adhere to Universalism, but such is being dishonest to oneself. We must accept the whole message and not just look for a few verses we like.

You mentioned the word aionios found in Mt. 25:46 referring to eternal punishment of the wicked and think it means something other than everlasting, continued existence, etc. Please note that same Greek word is also found in Rom. 16:26:

But now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all nations might believe and obey him

The adjective used to describe God (eternal or everlasting) is this same word—aionios. It does not fit into your theology or into those who wrongly believe in the annihilation of the wicked dead. In other words, as long as God continues to exist in the future the wicked will continue to be punished. Hence, your understanding of this word is limited and dangerously misleading. It is also important to mention Rev. 19:20 and Rev. 20:10:

But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. (Rev 19:20)

Then, after 1,000 years later we read this:

And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (Rev 20:10)

In other words, a comparison of those two verses shows even after 1,000 years the antichrist and false prophet were not annihilated in the fiery lake of burning sulfur, but will continue to remain in that same horrible place. Many others will also be thrown into this same place (Rev. 21:8). These are just a few of the Scriptures which clearly disprove Universalism. Have you read this, which is also related http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/universalism.htm

You must repent or you will be damned. You must have a faith in Jesus which will obey or you will be lost. GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) Someone who i had asked to listen to you audios asked me this question...”“How do we know what are the sins leading to death & the sins not leading to death?” I was wondering, do you have that on your website ? Thanks,

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name. The Bible is not perfectly explicit on what sins are unto death and which are not. However, from certain passages which give a listing of sins, then afterwards say such will not inherit the kingdom of God because of them, we can conclude they are sins that bring forth spiritual death. See 1 Cor. 6:9,10; Eph. 5:5-7; Gal. 5:19-21; Rev. 21:8; etc. Almost always listed is sexual sins, drunkenness and idolatry, but there are others.

A safe way to proceed is to avoid ALL sin, even the lesser ones. None are good for us or the kingdom of God. GOD BLESS YOU. 1 Cor. 2:9.

(EMAIL) I am disappointed that you have not accepted the KJV as the inspired word of God. Do you think that God needed the Bible translated more than once? You seem to have an agenda rather than simply a desire to know the truth. Your information on loosing our salvation is also disappointing. Study and show yourself approved. Pray for wisdom on these subjects and God will give it. Your friend in Christ

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name. Please know the original Greek and Hebrew manuscripts were inspired. The various translations are NOT inspired! That is why all Christians should read various reputable translations. Regarding the KJV and just to mention one point, since the English language has changed since 1611 there was a major need for English translation/s which are understandable. The KJV is a hindrance to understanding God’s word because of the strange words and meanings of words which have changed.

The reason we reject eternal security is because it is not a Christian teaching (2 Tim. 3:16,17), even though it was taught once in the Bible—by the devil in Gen. 3:4. Without doubt, a righteous person can die spiritually. The sooner you learn the truth about this salvation-related issue the better it will be for you and those you love the most. MANY are going to hell, but think they are safely bound for heaven because of this demonic doctrine.

Please consider getting our 801 page book refuting eternal security entitled, “The Believer’s Conditional Security.” There is MUCH in it that can help you better understand this salvation related subject. http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/whatsnew.htm This book is the most exhaustive and comprehensive refutation to eternal security ever written.

Please consider signing up for our weekly email teachings, updates, etc. If interested, you can do that here http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/contact.htm Remember Gal. 6:8,9 is a SALVATION passage not a rewards passage. GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) ...Do you all have any feelings on Mark 16:16? Inclusion of baptism in salvation plan?

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.... Mark 16:16 says:

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Mark 16:16)

The Church of Christ, Mormons, Catholics and other groups cite this verse as a proof text to show one isn’t forgiven except in the waters of baptism. Here is what we have written about this verse from our much longer study refuting baptismal regeneration:

Please notice that this verse refers to ONLY two types of people: (1) Those that believe and are baptized and (2) Those that don’t believe. THIS VERSE DOES NOT REFER TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN JESUS, BUT HAVE NOT YET BEEN BAPTIZED. However, Jn. 6:47 DOES! Jesus said in that verse, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me HATH everlasting life.” See also Jn. 3:15. The “light” from these verses added to the “light” in Mark 16:16 clarifies, once again, that baptism has NO ROLE in our soul’s salvation. After all, since we are saved when we TRUST ON JESUS FOR OUR SALVATION (Jn. 3:15; 6:47; Acts 16:31), it should come as no surprise that we will be saved when we TRUST ON JESUS and get baptized as well, as Mark 16:16a teaches! Can you see this?

Also, the latter part of Mark 16:16 states what damns, that is, NOT TRUSTING IN JESUS! The latter part of Mk. 16:16 reveals whether it is BELIEVING and/or BAPTISM that is important for salvation. (This is probably why many who stress the first part of this verse often neglect to mention the last part of Mark 16:16!) A comparable sentence construct to Mark 16:16 is: “He that starts his car and puts on his hat will drive home; but he that doesn’t start his car won’t.” From this comparison, it should be apparent that putting on a hat (likened to getting baptized) has nothing to do with driving home (likened to getting saved). Does that help you understand Mark 16:16? Remember, we MUST find A HARMONIOUS INTERPRETATION THROUGHOUT THE BIBLE before we can be sure that we understand any given verse. IF you still insist on stressing Mark 16:16a, then you must ignore JN. 6:47! Are YOU willing to do that?

Lastly, it must also be pointed out that many who stress Mark 16:16 will argue inconsistently to make their point. They contend that baptism is incorporated into BELIEVING, then later turn around and say that we must BELIEVE AND be BAPTIZED to be saved using Mark 16:16 while doing so! Mark 16:16 states that we “BELIEVE” BEFORE AND WITHOUT BAPTISM! Furthermore, those at Corinth clearly BELIEVED BEFORE they were baptized. This is shown in ACTS 18:8 which reads, “Crispus, the synagogue ruler, and his entire household believed in the Lord; and many of the Corinthians who heard him BELIEVED and were BAPTIZED.”

REMEMBER THIS: it’s the unbelievers (and seven other categories, according to Rev. 21:8) who get condemned, NOT the unbaptized! NOWHERE in the entire Bible does it say, “He that is not baptized is condemned!” Please reread this section on Mark 16:16.

Hopefully all of this will help you. GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) I have a calling in my life to fulfilled my assignment that God has placed in my life. I am blunt what I say about the Bible and I obey God\'s Word and wholesome teaching that Jesus teaches. YES, ETERNAL SECURITY IS FALSE... So, many people are going to hell because of this doctrine and I personal would like to say, YOU CAN LOSE YOUR SALVATION and go back into sin. The Bible states it clearly in the old and new testament. Please contact me

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name. It was a blessing to read your email. It seems that you want to help rectify this MOUNTAINOUS problem with eternal security. We have various tracts which do help to show the fallacies associated with this doctrine. We also have various books and audio teachings.

As you probably know, many proponents like this doctrine because they have sin in their life and don’t want to repent. They have sought out the eternal security teachers to say what they want to hear and to make them feel okay in wickedness (2 Tim. 4:3,4). May God help them before they end up in hell. Fighting this doctrine is very important as you know. Get ready for a battle for when you stand against this teaching, much opposition will come your way. It is the devil’s masterpiece and God has placed you in an area which is heavy false gospel and counterfeit grace.
