(EMAIL) Hello, i\’m writing for some much needed advice please. I\’ve always believed in O.S.A.S. until i came across your website, now i\’m not so sure. The trouble is most churches of today teach this, so which church denominations dont teach O.S.A.S or calvinism. Also i believe i\’ve lost my salvation due to backslidding through stress and depression etc. I\’ve prayed the Salvation prayer dozens of times and asked Jesus Christ to be my Saviour but i keep backslidding into my old sinful ways again. What can i do? How can i kep my salvation? What can you do if you lose it? What church can i join that dont teach O.S.A.S because they all do,including my new church, which is a ... church. It seems to be a bible believing church, but it does seem to teach O.S.A.S, SO WHICH CHURCHES CAN I ATTEND IN THE UK THAT DONT TEACH THIS ....What are your views please on all these issues above. Please can someone get back to me as soon as possible because i\’m so confused .... I would have thought your website is the one thats correct in its doctrines and beliefs, not his. You asked a very hard question because we are living in such a dark time. Apostasy and false doctrine are wide spread. Perhaps the best you can ever find is to gather with a few others that are God-fearing and desire to draw near to God. Then read through the New Testament and change accordingly.
Here in the USA the denominations that SOMETIMES reject OSAS are: Free Will baptist, Assembly of God, General Baptist, Church of God, Salvation Army, God’s Missionary Church, Nazarene and Wesleyan. Often, though, these groups have other SERIOUS doctrinal problems. Hence, the safest thing to do is learn the New Testament for yourself. READ IT FOR YOURSELF without any other so-called help and study books. Believe what is says and change accordingly.
You are going to have to lock you mind on spiritual and eternal things, as you seek God and resist the devil, to get the victory over wickedness. To stop watching TV and going to the wrong places will help you MUCH. You probably will also have to get very serious about separating yourself from others that are ungodly.

(EMAIL) Thanks for the ministry articles you sent to me! God used those to help me accept the truth that my father and his parents, my grandparents, all of who died from cancer, all died lost, as they followed the teachings of Catholicism right up until the day they died. I believe God was trying to help me accept this for a while. I also now know I need to pray for some neighbors, who believe they are saved because they go to Mass regularly and take communion. Also, the article on Television was used by God to help me surrender watching any TV at all to Himself, and when I read in that article about how the devil uses television, it dawned on me that the Holy Spirit has been trying to get me to accept Gods will and stop watching television for several years now, and today is my first day of complete obedience in this area. I have one question, I saw a Lutheran Pastor on TV a few days ago, and he was talking about salvation through Jesus Christ, and he sounded biblical, however, he also teaches at his church that communion actually becomes the body and blood of Christ, and that children need to go through confirmation. Is it possible to be a Christian church if things that are not biblical are taught> Thanks and God bless you!!

The Lutherans are seriously wrong about their plan of salvation (like Catholics) since both groups think one is forgiven at infant baptism. This is a very deadly error and on that basis alone you should NOT attend either congregation. One becomes initially forgiven (saved) at the point of a trusting and submitting faith in Jesus. ALL 100% OF OUR TRUST MUST BE IN THE LORD JESUS FOR SALVATION, which leaves 0% left for baptism, Mary communion, church membership, etc.
It is also wrong to think the bread and wine is changed into the body and blood of Christ. In Catholicism they go a step beyond this and worship the communion wafer as God! That is a clear example of idolatry since God really is NOT being worshipped at all, but only bread and wine.
It is GREAT to read that you recognize how spiritually damaging TV is. As you draw near to God by reading the New Testament and putting those truths into practice the more you will be spiritually blessed and grow. Trouble will come with this but persevere. Remember Heb. 3:14.

(EMAIL) Hi, I have a question that I hope you can help me with. I was married previously to a man who verbally and physically abused me in front of our son. He was also big into pornography and would tell me how he \“liked\” some of my friends. When I was 20, we divorced. I later married a man who was also divorced because of his wife\’s repeated adultery and lack of repentance. During the course of our marriage, I have been saved and together, we are trying to walk God\’s path to salvation. Our concern is this- was my divorce \“legal\” in God\’s eyes or are we now currently committing adultery in God\’s eyes?? This is concerning us as that we do not want to sin against God, but we have been married for __ years and have a child together. We have researched this, asked our pastor, and can\’t seem to get a clear answer on what we should do to please God and be following his laws. You have asked a hard question because this issue doesn’t seem to be perfectly clear to us either. IF there is any reason for divorce and remarriage that would be for sexual immorality of the spouse, BUT that is a big “if.” There is also evidence to state as long as that person/s is alive then there can be no remarriage for any reason, including sexual immorality.
The absolute safest thing for you is not to have sex. That would eliminate the possible “adultery” that is committed otherwise.
The best thing for you to do is look up EVERY New Testament verse containing the words: adultery, adulterer, adulteress, divorce, remarriage and the related in various translations: NIV, KJV, NASB.

(EMAIL) I believe you are correct in conditional salvation. I am sick near unto death because I was mislead and sinned against a Holy God. It appears I was not one of the elect because I am trying to get to God now but cannot . I know I am a lost sinner on my way to Hell and I cannot bear the torment. Eternal sin (blasphemy against the Holy Spirit) is when one says Jesus had a demon and by the power of the devil he performed his miracles (Mk. 3:22-31). ALL OTHER sins can get forgiven through sincere repentance.
Calvinism is WRONG in all 5 points. ALL PEOPLE can get saved. It is their personal choice to accept the truth or reject it. (EMAIL) Hey I just wanted to write this to apologize for something I wrote months ago. I was trying to justify committing suicide and was condemning your condemnation/view of suicide in your sermons. I did this because I myself wanted to commit suicide.

What we do is compare the teachings of the Bible about Mary and the claims of Catholicism for Mary. They are NOT the same. The teachings about the Mary of the Catholic Church have slowly evolved over the years to where some people now think she is “our life, sweetness and hope” as declared in the Rosary. These titles belong to JESUS, not his mother. NO ONE in the New Testament viewed Mary the way Catholics do today. This is a VERY SERIOUS error. This refers to salvation.

(EMAIL) It is amazing how some people think that God is an Indian Giver and how people believe the Words of Paul and the disciples, but not the Words of Jesus. Those who think a person can lose Salvation are trusting only in their good works and calling Jesus a liar, when He Stated in John, I give them Eternal Life and they shall never perish, nor can any man pluck them out of my Father’s hand. Some people state that they can jump out, but where is that quoted in the Scriptures. The problem is the people who believe a Saved person can be lost and saved over and over again is very shakey and they believe anyone. If they the devil told someone he was A christian they would believe him. Please know we are people who refute eternal security but do NOT trust in any of our good deeds. ALL 100% OF OUR TRUST IS IN JESUS FOR OUR SALVATION. Good deeds don’t save but they verify a SAVING FAITH (James 2). Our position has been unjustly slandered by the OSAS people to make our position seem foolish.
Of the MANY problems the eternal security people have doctrinally—one is their flat out denial of Rev. 22:19, which says:
And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. (Rev 22:19)
You have referred to the following passage, so let’s take a close look at it:
John 10:27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and THEY FOLLOW ME.
John 10:28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.
John 10:29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all ; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.
Please note that the ones that will “never perish” or get “snatched” from God’s hand, according to Jesus’ teaching are only the ones that FOLLOW HIM. Also, the Greek tense of the word “follow” in v. 27 is a CONTINUOUS TENSE. Hence, this verse does NOT allow for one to stray into wickedness and maintain their salvation as it has been misued to teach. Please remember this.
Please also know that we do NOT just believe anything. We carefully base our doctrine on the Scriptures. We believe that we are saved by grace (Eph. 2:8,9) but we can fall from grace (Gal. 5:2-4). We are justified by faith (Rom. 5:1) but our faith can become shipwrecked (1 Tim. 1:19,20) and cease to exist (Lk. 8:13; Rom. 11:19-23). We are not under the law (Rom. 6:14,15) but if you live according to the sinful nature you will die (Rom. 8:13). Paul taught against legalism (Gal. 5:3,4) but he also taught that no immoral, impure or greedy person has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God (Eph. 5:5-7). We are not saved by works (Eph. 2:8,9) but to reap eternal life and not destruction you must sow to please the Spirit and not the sinful nature (Gal. 6:8,9). God is faithful to us (1 Jn. 1:9; 1 Cor. 10:13) but we must be faithful to him to the very end of our lives to escape the lake of fire or second death (Rev. 2:10,11). God surely loves us (Jn. 3:16; Mk. 10:21; Rom. 8:35-39) but those who inherit the kingdom of God love God (Jam 2:5; 1 Cor. 2:9) and to love God means to obey his commands (Jn. 14:15; 1 Jn. 5:3). We have freedom in Christ (Gal. 5:1) but this freedom is not to indulge the sinful nature (Gal. 5:13; 1 Pet 2:16).

I have ask the LORD to forgive me and I have truly changed my way of life. You said I will never get into heaven because of what I have done. I’m very confused now. I was told to ask for forgiveness with all my heart and I would be forgiving but now you say I cant get into heaven so what’s the point? You must have misread what we taught. YES, you can get forgiven. David who committed murder got forgiven and YOU can too through sincere repentance.
