EO Responds To

(EMAIL) If he [Norman Geisler] were guilty of heresy, you'd be correct. But these are issues that 'Christians' have been arguing for long before we were around. You are treading on dangerous ground. I suggest you repent, confess your slanderous sin, and gossip of lies. I will pray for you. May God grant you mercy.
(RESPONSE) There is no question that Norman Geisler is teaching the devil’s lie of Gen 3:4, as are many others. Apparently you are not acquainted with his doctrine and/or have never taken the time to check out the documentation we cite. We should be commended not condemned for obeying God by exposing him (Eph. 5:11) and contending against the counterfeit grace message he spreads (Jude 3,4). I suggest you stop slandering us by falsely saying we have slandered him and REPENT.
Please consider getting our 801 page book refuting eternal security entitled, "The Believer's Conditional Security." There is MUCH in it that can help you better understand this salvation related subject. http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/whatsnew.htm This book is the most exhaustive and comprehensive refutation to eternal security ever written. Remember Gal. 6:8,9 is a SALVATION passage not a rewards passage.
GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) I would like to tell you that this ‘Roman Catholic Mary’ and your ‘biblical Mary’ are one and the same. It is common misbelieve that we Catholics see Mary as equal to Jesus. She is not. She is the Mother of God and thus deserves respect and admiration, and she is the Immaculate Conception, because God could not be born to someone who was with sin. She was absolved of her sin while still in the womb of her mother by God the Most High. But we do not worship her. We honor her. It cannot be proved that she was taken into Heaven. She was human and does not deserve the worship that we give to God. The Biblical Mary gave birth to Jesus, correct? So did the ‘Catholic Mary’. Catholics worship God alone. God being the three persons of the Holy Trinity: God the father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, not the Holy Quadity. I mean no disrespect, and I admire that you are going on the web to witness about Jesus, but you should do some research before you begin to criticize something that you don’t know the truth of. With all respect and admiration,
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name. Please give the evidence for your statement that the Mary of Catholicism is the same Mary mentioned in the Bible. The Mary of Catholicism is clearly not the same as the one mentioned in Scripture for many reasons. The truth is: Catholicism has sometimes exalted their make-believe Mary OVER the Lord Jesus. For example: Mary is exalted by Catholicism as the “most gracious advocate,” while the Bible says JESUS is “our advocate.” Should we think she is “more gracious” than Jesus? Never! Not only is she placed next to Jesus as co-redeemer, but ABOVE JESUS as a gracious advocate! This is demonic. That is not the Mary of the Bible. Please read how the Catholic Mary is the rival of the Lord Jesus http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/marytojesus.htm
Catholicism teaches to “venerate” Mary, then says she is not to be worshiped, which is contradictory since a synonym for venerate is “worship.” Did you know that? Mary is not sinless, queen of heaven, mother of God, our refuge, the way to God, etc. She has NO ROLE in the slightest with our salvation, according to Scripture. You can not show from Scripture where she has any role in our salvation, especially as the mediatrix of all graces! These are all fabrications and the victims are sincere Catholics who just trust their deceived priests.
Catholics have also been misled to think Mary is their “life, sweetness and hope.” Clearly this is a mythical figure, not the real Mary of the Bible. Now, because of this fable about Mary, people are NOT fully trusting in Jesus 100%. Instead they are looking to their “most gracious advocate” which is as real as the tooth fairy and Santa Claus. Catholics must turn away from these idolatries and other sins to find salvation. Please read this to learn about Biblical salvation http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/salvationps.htm You need to read our book, “Is This The Mary of The Bible?” http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/marybook.htm
Don’t go to hell by trying to find salvation some way other than the one shown in the Bible. Eternity is a long time. Please read the New Testament for yourself and accept the truth.
As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.” He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.” (Luke 11:27,28)
GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) Victory in the Trinity. By spreading words of misunderstanding, things you know little of, just fuels the separation of the faiths. By writing ( not Mary ) above, is not a way to come together, but to cause more discord. You should spend time asking questions and getting true answers before propagating what you have misconstrued.
Let's take one issue and I'll let it go; Catholics do not pray to Mary as if she were Jesus. Mary was a human and I ask her to pray to Jesus for me like I would ask for you to pray for me or let's say someone would ask me to pray for them. When you visit a hospital and you pray for someone who is ill to get better or is dieing, that they go to heaven. Now let's take it to another level, Catholic's hold Mary at a special place in their hearts as the angel called her " Full of Grace ". She was picked by GOD to be the vessel of Christ. Wouldn't you say that is special ? But she is not equal to or better than Jesus. I am not worthy to talk directly to GOD, so I pray to him in the name of Jesus. Sometimes when I pray to Jesus I ask Mary to pray for me, to him, as well I might ask you to pray for me. Does that make any sense ? Jesus is the one and only Mediator. Saints, loved ones, etc can be intercessors to Jesus for us, as I would ask that we all pray for better understanding and the ability to weigh conflicting ideas, in name of Jesus I pray. Peace be with you,
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name. You have falsely accused us of posting inaccurate information regarding Catholicism, but failed to show Catholic documentation to make your point. You say Catholics do not pray to Mary, but what Pope or Catholic church council are you referring to? If you would find something, it would only show Catholicism has contradictory teachings as you should know they do. There are many prayers “to” Mary by Catholic saints, Popes, etc. for various reasons. Please do not misrepresent your beliefs to make them seem more Christian. I used to be a Catholic and have their books to cite, if necessary. So please stop this about Catholics not praying to Mary. It is not true.
Furthermore, Mary can’t hear our requests for her to pray for us. She is not God who possesses omniscience in order to know that information. Why don’t you just pray the way the Lord Jesus taught? He taught to pray directly to the Father and himself. The early Christians did NOT pray to the saints to get to God (Acts 4:24; etc.).
Mary was “full of grace,” but so was Stephen. In fact, Stephen was filled with grace and power:
Now Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, did great wonders and miraculous signs among the people. (Acts 6:8)
Based on that Scripture, Mary was not so special because she was “full of grace.” Catholicism thinks that makes her sinless. If that is true, then Stephen was sinless too because he was the same. In fact, Stephen was more than Mary since he was also filled with power.
You initially wrote about our Scapular article, but have not shown any errors with what we have stated. Rather than thinking we are wrong, reconsider what you have been taught, for according to Scripture it is dangerously wrong http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/scapular.htm Remember the Bible is final authority (2 Tim. 3:16,17).
The Catholic Church has millions wrongly believing in Mary, church membership and the sacraments for salvation and are committing various forms of idolatry on top of that. Please for own sake, read the New Testament and change accordingly. No one has the salvation and forgiveness of sins the Bible speaks of unless they are believing as Jesus and his followers taught, which you are not. God bless you.

(SECOND EMAIL) As I read this I can see that you have a predetermined ( anti-any thing but what I think ) view and a negative one at that. I never said that Stephen couldn't hear our prayers or anyone in fact. Your information is in fact false, but more over very negative as is your responses. I never knew I had to show Catholic documentations to make ( my ) point because my point is that ( you do not focus on the good of your religion, but all the negatives of all others ). I don't know how you prayed to Mary and maybe that was your problem, but I do so only to ask her help ( or maybe Stephen ) as I might yours ( in Jesus' name ). Have you ever prayed for someone ? ? ? ...I will not tell you that you are wrong. Why do you think that you are the all knowing ?
I do believe in Jesus as our salvation, why do you think I don't. I never wrote anything to give you such a notion. You ramble on like a street corner bible waver without validity. You my sir will not gain GOD's favor by bashing others as you do and most likely have been doing for some time ( as your ramblings are canned speeches ).
FOCUS ON YOUR GOOD---------NOT THE BAD OF OTHERS BE POSITIVE--------NOT NEGATIVE BE HAPPY AND ENJOY THE FACT THAT WE BOTH HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF OUR LORD For once in your life step back and be a student because you are not a teacher. Teacher aren't so arrogant Please seek council for your negative and depressive state, maybe someone at your church can point you in the right direction. May GOD help you and I'll ask Mary to pray to Jesus for you, who ever you are. Peace be with you,
(SECOND RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name. For a Christian like me to correct you from Scripture is not only important, it is vital and should be received. Truth is always truth, even when it is not pleasant. For example, for a medical doctor to tell a person who is smoking, drinking and 100 pounds over weight that he is going to have make serious changes or suffer physically and bring about his own early physical death is not bashing. It is not being negative. It is being factual, even though the recipient of that advice might not like it. What you heard from me is MUCH MORE important than what any medical doctor might tell his patient because it will stretch into eternity. It is spiritual truth which will never pass away.
You continue to avoid the Bible and cite no documentation in support of your slander of us. Anyone who is informed about Catholicism will know you are falsely charging us. You have falsely attacked and condemned us and then turn it around and say we are negative and arrogant! You can be happy all you want, but you do NOT have the salvation the Bible speaks of, in part, because of how Catholicism has taught it wrong. You have accepted their message even though it is refuted with Scripture. Though you reject the Bible message it will not change. It will forever show Mary has absolutely NO ROLE at all in our salvation. She is not the sinless, queen of heaven and refuge of sinners you have been taught. She is not our “life, sweetness and hope.” She is not the mediatrix and dispenser of all graces. To compare her, who is dead and can’t hear us, with a living Christian is not a valid analogy. Besides that, Catholicism also teaches to pray TO Mary. This is an ugly fact which you hate, but won’t be changed.
By thinking Mary can do all these things is to have a much lesser view of Jesus, who is the one we must TRUST IN 100% or be damned. It takes a trusting and submissive faith in Jesus to be his follower. One must endure to the end for salvation (Mt. 10:22; Heb. 3:14; etc.). This excludes trusting in being a Catholic, the sacraments and Mary. You remain in spiritual darkness and death because you refuse the light of the Bible. Please read the New Testament carefully and believe what it says. Put it into practice. Your SOUL is in the greatest danger—being thrown into the lake of fire.
Does this sound like the Jesus you say you believe in?
As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.” He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.” (Luke 11:27,28)
GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) Please check your reference to Revelation 13:16? I used to think the Bible said "ON the right hand " as well. It doesn't .. The Bible says "IN the right hand or forehead .. this indicates something like a chip not something like a UPC code . I just saw it today after years of thinking ON was the right word . Thanks
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name. Do not get too excited with your find. There is no Greek word for either “on” or “in” in Rev. 13:16. Hence, either is just as solid as the other!
Please consider signing up for our weekly email teachings, updates, etc. If interested, you can do that here http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/contact.htm
Remember, you will have to endure to the end to enter God’s kingdom (Mt. 10:22; Heb. 3:14; Rev. 2:10,11). GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) you need my book, _________
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name. For your own SOUL’S sake and the souls of others whom you will adversely affect by your book trying to promote the HERESY of eternal security, please stop now. Do NOT get it published. Repent of your wickedness and get your doctrine biblically correct. Read the New Testament, believe what it says and put it into action. At present, you are a blind leader of the blind, yet teaching as though you have the truth. This is VERY SERIOUS! God bless you.

(EMAIL) I find your site very interesting. You seem to identify the Savior of the New Testament as the Almighty/YHWH of the Old Testament come in person. This understanding is very unusual in the religious world today, what with the "twoness" and the"trinity" understandings being so prevalent. I do wonder why you still refer to the Savior as "Jesus" when He said that He came in his Father's Name which you indicate that you acknowledge as YHWH/Yahweh. I, myself, have been a "oneness " believer now for over 50 years, 25 of those years as a True Name believer, but still "oneness."
Sense we seem to have that most important issue, the "oneness," in common I would like to know more about your organization and your location and maybe some affiliation that might be near me. My name and address is: ______.Your response will be greatly appreciated, Thank You,
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name. Jesus is the YHWH of the Old Testament, but that does NOT mean he is the Father, as the “oneness” (United Pentecostal) crowd wrongly believes. Jesus is a different and distinct person to the Holy Father. Please read this http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/jesusnotfather.htm
The Trinity doctrine is true, even though it is not as clear as some other teachings. It is not a belief in 3 gods. There is ONE true God. Even though Jesus came in his Father’s name, he is the “Son,” not the Father. That verse can’t be shown to mean he is the person of the Father. Instead, he was sent by the Father and does what the Father would do in every situation.
The BIG issue is faithfully following Jesus to the end in this wicked and adulterous society with most religious people being on the road to hell, along with the non-religious. GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) I read your article on defense of the name of Jesus and I am truly sorry that you are perceiving this movement of restoration as a threat. Our King is going to return soon and He wants to bring His people together into one stick as in Ezekiel 37 and we all need to unite as one. Many new discoveries are making people zealous and they unintentionally step on toes.
Iesous is the Greek transliteration of Yeshua which was His name in Greek during the first century....
The people of the Most High just need to stop bickering and fighting over this and over that. We need to unite as one under His banner. His Hebrew name is Yeshua. It does not mean that he did not operate under the name of Jesus in times past or even now. He loves us and wants to reveal more about Himself to us and one of things is restoration of His name. It is a priviledge to have this revealed and I hope you soften your stance in the Spirit of unity with your brothers and sisters. Can you really say in your heart that this is a sign of the great apostasy? Can we really solve misunderstandings with anger and accusations? We are accountable for our actions. We must be longsufering, patient, not easily angered and work to resolve our differences. We must follow His example. My His peace be with you.
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name. There is no need for an alleged movement of restoration regarding Messiah’s name. We speak English and his HOLY name is “JESUS.” It was by that precious name that I have been saved, healed, etc. as millions of others have. It is not a pagan name as you might have been told. Also, it is you guys who are causing division, in part because you believe false information. For example, you wrote:
Iesous is the Greek transliteration of Yeshua which was His name in Greek during the first century.
The truth is: The New Testament was written in Greek and hundreds of times cites Messiah’s name. His Greek name when transliterated into English (the language we speak and write in) is JESUS. It is NOT Yeshua, as you have been told. Your so-called “revealed” truth is not accurate. Please make a note of this.
If what you are saying is true that Jesus’ name should really be Yeshua, then WHY was the New Testament inspired by the Holy Spirit and written in Greek, not Hebrew? NEVER in the entire Bible is the Messiah’s name cited as Yeshua. Did you know that? It is you guys who are fighting over this and causing trouble. You have attacked Christians with false information and charge us with error! SOULS are going to hell all around us through eternal security and you have magnified a non-issue with false information into the biggest issue of all. God bless you.

(EMAIL) Grace is not conditional. I suggest that you read the Bible, Old and New Testaments, word for word , King James Bible. Then, read it all again, slowly. After that, you can tell me that God's grace is not sufficient. He does not need our help!
(RESPONSE) There are MANY Scriptures that could be cited to show salvation is conditional, such as the following one, which you probably have never noticed:
so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3:7)
There are many “ifs” connected with salvation. Please read these carefully:
By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. (1 Cor 15:2)
We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first. (Heb 3:14)
For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. (Mat 6:14,15)
