I think Idol worship is the belief in that tree or Santa is God or Powerful, Which I do not nor ever thought like that I have always thought of God and Jesus\'s Birth on this day, I praise God and Jesus during this time, & all the time for that matter. In order Idol something you have to worship and believe that it has powers or that it can help you in some form, I clearly do not worship or Pray to a tree! I see Santa as Make Believe! So how is this Idol Worship? God knows what I feel at this time of year and he knows that I do not worship this things. Please help me understand where you\'re point of view.

Thank for agreeing with most of our materials. That is pretty good. Today’s Christmas concept is far removed from 1st century Christianity. When we consider that immorality increases around Christmas and the “world” enjoys Christmas time too, then that should be a sign that something is very wrong. Also, the way we express our love to the Lord Jesus is by obeying him (John 14:15), which is not the theme of Christmas.

The Santa replacement for the Lord Jesus is also very disturbing, especially when one notices the way “Santa” has been given the attributes of deity. Such can easily lead to idolatry.

One final point about Christmas: There is no evidence in the New Testament that the earliest Christians celebrated it in any way, shape or form, especially as done by the so-called “church” of our dark day.

(EMAIL) Hi Folk, I have looked up the word Sorcery in the greek dictionary and the only answer I get is Pha-ma kia, meaning Drugs. As I read my Bible it makes a lot more sense now that I read it with that word in it\'s place. Do you find this to be accurate or do you feel I am reading it incorrectly. Some folk have tried to tell me it could only mean illegal drugs. I ask why? and they seem to want think it could not possibly mean legal drugs. When I ask why they simply can not say why. I used the word sorcery was just \'magic-trickery\', and that did not really fit the Biblical statement very well. But I find using the word \'Drugs\' puts a very different light on the subject, and it makes much more sense of the statements in the Bible. What think yee??? What translation says “drugs” in Rev. 21:8? NONE! It means SORCERER which is the common translation. If you think it is wrong to take over the counter drugs or prescriptions as medicine than you would have a problem with God telling the prophet Isaiah to tell Hezekiah to apply a poutice of figs (as a drug/medicine) for his boil. Also, Paul told Timothy to take a little wine (as a drug/medicine) for his stomach.

Are you aware that eternal security is of the devil? Heb. 3:14.

There are dozens of examples in the Bible of people or types of people who lost their salvation. Hence, your doctrine of eternal security and the other points of Calvinism are fatally flawed. (EMAIL) Dear new friends, I strongly believe the Holy Spirit led me to your website today. Lately, the conviction in my heart and mind has been extremely strong, and I believe God has let some situations and circumstances come into my life to help me understand the truth that I must repent of all sin in my life, and let Jesus be Lord of my entire life, all of it!! For too long, I was believing in eternal security, and acting like since God will forgive me because Jesus died for me, I can live any way I want. However, I now believe the Holy Spirit has made me wise enough to stop believing that lie. I have distanced myself from the Baptist church and now attend a non denominational church, where it seems Repentance is somehow preached on and taught every Sunday morning. At church this morning, Pastor Mark mentioned that we are all near the end of our lives, because Jesus is returning very soon. Also, this past week, I believe the Holy Spirit broke through to my hardened heart and mind that I was deceived to stay at a church for 5 years where the main sermon every week was about how God wants us all to be very financially wealthy and always healthy, and the more money we donate to the church and ministers/ministries, the more God will bless us. Thanks for the kind words. YES, you are right—you need to turn from all 100% of your sins and TRASH the demonic teaching of eternal security which you already know about. (You are at a MAJOR spiritual advantage to know about eternal security being false.)

Sad to say, MANY “non-denominational” churches also believe in the heresy of eternal security. You must be careful. Phone that pastor sometime and ask him this question—If King David had died when in adultery and murder would he have been lost? If he says “no,” that man is a servant of satan and not a true teacher. Look for another congregation.

It is WONDERFUL to read that you can also realize the problems with the congregations that teach the so-called Prosperity gospel. When one learns the New Testament the emphasis is always on serving God, living holy and winning souls. Those people teach and generate GREED with this teachings. Paul, who had GREAT FAITH, was in “rags” at times (1 Cor. 4:11-13). That description of Paul is a description of a TRUE MAN OF GOD who sacrificed for the sake of the Kingdom of God—souls and truth going forth (not for temporal comforts).

God does NOT automatically forgive anyone! A person must repent (turn away from sins) to get forgiven. You must get committed to Lord JESUS. Please ponder Luke 18:13,14; 1 Thess. 1:9; Acts 3:19; Acts 19:19; Prov. 28:13; etc.

Eve ONLY had babies by Adam. No one ever had a baby by the devil. (You might be thinking of some TV fiction you watched somewhere which is not Biblical.)

We are not living in the 6th commandment. No one lives in any commandment. Commandments were given for people to obey and follow. There are hundreds of commandments now if not more. Please read the New Testament and notice them.

Regarding eating certain foods, at this point in time there is NO LONGER any dietary restrictions as in Moses’ day. Jesus taught the following:

For it doesn’t go into his heart but into his stomach, and then out of his body. (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods “clean.”) (Mark 7:19)

That doesn’t mean that all foods are healthy to eat. Some foods should be avoided for health reasons.

It is GREAT to read that you found salvation, the MOST PRECIOUS thing to find in this life. NOW like all others please “hold on.” It was also good to read that you found our web site and tested it with Scripture and found it sound. Many hate us, but all we do is spread the Biblical message of 100% trusting, submitting and enduring faith in JESUS for salvation or one will be lost. They don’t know their Bibles and need to change before it is too late.

Calvinism is wrong. Yes and even worse. It is dangerous and has MANY thinking that they are “elect” and must enter heaven while they are on the road to hell. To sit under ANY Calvinist and accept their teachings will hinder one from learning the vital truths of God. For yourself stay away from all eternal security teachers, which almost includes them all.

As with all unsaved people I was “addicted” to sin and JESUS set me free (Rom. 6:22).

(EMAILS) I have recently received one of your flyers on my door and I felt the need to respond. I am a Christian, I believe Jesus Christ is my personal savior and I practice this in my life. So that being said I resent the way you as Evangelical Outreach express what being a Christian is. I am interested if God will judge you because you thought you were working for Him or if He will judge you for the souls who would choose Hell over being with you in Heaven? I feel that you selectively interpret the Bible. I don’t see Jesus going from town to town using fear tactics at all. He uses parables and stories that people could understand. He used acceptance and love to bring people to the flock from what I can tell anyway. Plus, what I fear more than Hell is what person would join you with the fear, hate and divisiveness you create by this literature? Seriously, I fear that more than Hell and the Devil himself. I appreciate that you are in service to the Lord and that you truly want to save souls and that is the spirit in which I write this letter. I ask that you take a step back and look at your results. Are you truly happy and living with God’s grace on your life? Are people coming to you and asking you how they can have the joy and peace that you exhibit in your life? The website seems almost like false advertising. There are many Christians who say nothing they just throw your literature away. But I am tired of living in fear and silent resentment for what your group puts out as what being a Christian is. I am tired of your tyranny and somehow I like my chances that I don’t think God is sending me to Hell for that. I would have to say that if Heaven is where your group is I think I’d like another choice. God Bless,

All you have to do is look up the various Bible references on the flyer you received to know such is actually found in Scripture. When the Lord Jesus walked the face of the earth he declared the truth to people which sometimes could be frightening. He FREQUENTLY taught about HELL and said most would go there. Truth can cause FEAR.

It is true that Jesus taught in parables, but the reason he did that was to CONCEAL TRUTH from the unsaved and to REVEAL TRUTH to the saved (Lk. 8:9,10). He did NOT just accept all people especially if they remained unrepentant. A prime example would be the wicked Pharisees (Mt. 23; John 8). His public rebuke of them was “love,” but not the counterfeit “love” of our dark day. Remember God’s “love” is based on his TRUTH. See 1 Cor. 13:6.

It seems that you hate us and the message we spread so much you would, shockingly, rather go to hell than a paradise heaven! There is something wrong in YOUR heart. You have deceived yourself into thinking something about God and your own spiritual condition which are not true. PLEASE PLEASE read the entire New Testament for yourself and change accordingly. You are thinking things that are not true.

(EMAIL) I want to know what else can be done to get rid of a demon. Until I read your article, other pastors had me convinced that a saved person could not be demon possessed. My cousin was an avid Harry Potter book reader and after a demonic episode a few months ago, my aunt got rid of everything that could have been a doorway for an attack. Well that was probably in February when it happened. Last night, the demon came back after my cousin got in trouble for lying about her whereabouts. She is 14 years old and has always been immature for her age. She behaves like that of a 10 year old kid. We have read scriptures over her, commanded the demon to come out in Jesus name , prayed over her. I do not know what else to do. What do you suggest?

It is true that a saved person can NOT have a demon. If your relative has a demon, she is NOT a Christian now even though she might have been one in the past. Remember the Apostle Judas Iscariot was once a disciple of Jesus (Mt. 10:1-4) and afterwards got possessed by Satan himself (John 13:27).

Witchcraft will damn a person to the lake of fire (Rev. 21:8). MULTITUDES have been deceived about this by the Harry Potter books, films, etc. Your relative needs to repent. She needs to humbly go to God for mercy and spiritual cleansing. (People with demons can do this. A man with 2000 or more demons could NOT be stopped from coming to Jesus for forgiveness, Luke 8:26-39.) She should also renounce the devil and his wicked works like witchcraft, etc. She is the one who needs to change. You can also pray, FAST and show her what the Bible teaches about all of this. This should help too.
