EO Responds To Emails

(EMAIL) Some of the newer Bible versions leave things out, while some others have change the meaning of things. Please, check it out. Thanks, God Bless

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

No doubt some of the newer translations are garbage and should never be used. That, however, doesn’t make the KJV the best translation. Some of the reputable translations have those additional words cited in footnotes.

Remember this: There are NO KJV onlyites [or very few] who can pronounce and know the meanings of the hundreds of strange words in the KJV. All of those words block one’s understanding of God’s eternal truth. It is time to lay that translation aside and read something understandable. It was a GREAT BLESSING for me to leave the KJV. I THANK GOD I had understandable [and reputable] translations to pick from.

GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) I have just finished reading your very fine article exposing the doctrine of once in grace always in grace as false doctrine. Thank you for the well written materials. To be sure you know my reference it was the article refuting the position of CH Spurgeon who upheld Calvinism.

I do have a question. If you believe faith and repentance are essential for salvation, why do you not include Christian baptism which is never described as a human work, but rather the point of grace at which those who believe and are repentant are granted numerous gifts such as being clothed with Christ, remission of sins, a circumcision of the heart, having the old man of sin crucified with Christ, being born again, washing away of sins, the point of salvation that God gives based on the answer of good conscience (faith and repentance) toward God?

Hebrews 5:9 declares that Christ “is the author of eternal salvation to all those who obey Him.” Since baptism is a command of Christ and not of men, how could I claim obedience if I deny His command?

Again, I am grateful for the truth you taught in the article I read.

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

It is a blessing to read that you know eternal security is false. However, a problem exists regarding water baptism. A superficial reading of the Bible has misled some to believe forgiveness comes in the waters of baptism. Such is not the Biblical message. One is forgiven at the POINT of a trusting-submitting faith in Jesus. Afterwards that disciple, who is already forgiven, is water baptized. We have a detailed study on this at http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/baptism.htm

GOD BLESS YOU. Heb. 3:14.

(EMAIL) In one of Dan Corner’s speeches on eternal security as a false doctrine, he stated emphatically that Judas Iscariot went to hell. How do you know Judas Iscariot was not an example of a prodigal son who was lost and then found at the end when he repented? How do you know his suicide was not an act of repentance in hope that by condemning himself through hanging, he was showing others how wrong it was to crucify Jesus?

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

We know Judas went to hell because of Mk. 14:21 and John 17:12. Also, suicide could never be an act of repentance. Suicide (self-murder) is a sin that will damn (Rev. 21:8). Remember Heb. 3:14.

GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) Hello, Why do so many Christians think the rapture will happen before the anti-Christ is revealed, ignoring the scripture that says otherwise. I am confused. Thank you.

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

Most church people were taught a pre-trib rapture and basically never heard the reasonings behind a POST-trib rapture. Hence, they have just accepted what they have been taught. But because they have accepted this teaching they will be less prepared when BIG trouble strikes such as nuclear war, which is certainly coming!

Remember Heb. 3:14. GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) It is quite amazing how deep the Father of Lies power goes in our daily lives. At every turn, we are surrounded by falsehood and given a flashlight to see our way though it (the Word of God and Holy Spirit).

I ran across your web site in my research on the OSAS matter after having been troubled for over 20 years with the inconsistency taught in the “Bible Churches” I’ve attended during that period.

Having plowed through the Word of God as I did through man’s law during my law school studies, I am well aware of the gross contradictions the OSAS doctrine has with the Word. I am in the middle of compiling a documentation/presentation of the OSAS contradictions with the Word for my current OSAS “Bible Church” leaders to help me clear up (I realize this will probably end with them ignoring me, but felt compelled by the Spirit to do so for those I know who earnestly seek the Almighty).

My question for you is do you all know of Churches in the _________ area that aren’t teaching Biblically contradictory doctrine? It appears I need to either stay at the present location ______________ and help to open eyes of everyone I can (missionary purpose) or leave and seek a Church teaching accurately the Word of God in its entirety.

Regards,

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

It is WONDERFUL to read that you know there are serious problems with OSAS. To be more precise it is designed by the devil to recapture precious souls that find salvation. It is taught under the gospel and grace but has NOTHING to do with either. It is a counterfeit and license for sin. It will destroy the fear of God, the fear of sinning and any wholesome and pure pursuit.

It is very hard to find a sound church ANYWHERE! We are in a deep dark apostasy. YOU are NOT alone.

(EMAIL) What do you believe in? And How are we to say who is a false Prophet? How do you guys teach the bible? Thank you for you time.

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

Here is what we believe http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/doctrine.htm The Bible tells us how to identify a false prophet in Dt. 13:1-10; Dt. 18:20-22 and Acts 10:43. We teach the Bible in context and by comparing Scripture with Scripture. Here are many articles http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/alphabet.htm

GOD BLESS YOU. Heb. 3:14.

_______________

(EMAIL) It is you who are false teaching if you allow someone to believe they

can become a Christian, but lose their salvation.

God is not an “Indian giver.” His gift to us is not conditional. Only He knows our hearts.

I became a Christian at the age of ten years old. Later, in my twenties and thirties, I was “away from the Lord.” But, if you recall, Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Thanks to loving parents and God’s loving presence (the Holy Spirit in me), I stand strong for the Lord today.

I John 1:9-10: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned we make Him a liar and His word is not

in us.”

Your (evil) posting on the Web takes away why Jesus Christ died for us on the cross. We are washed in His blood.

Perhaps you need to purchase a ______ study bible. I am purchasing one today for a friend who is not a believer. Your Web page felt demonic.

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

Have you ever noticed that God will TAKE BACK what he gave us, according to Scripture:

And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. (Rev 22:19)

Please know there are no Scriptures which connect Jesus’ death with eternal security. If you disagree, please send it. Eternal security is not even a Bible teaching much less related to the Lord’s death.

You mentioned a so-called “study Bible.” The truth is, such is really an “indoctrination Bible” because it inserts a person’s interpretations rather than just unbiased materials. The “study” Bible you referred to didn’t help you any. You still believe in eternal security.

We believe that we are saved by grace (Eph. 2:8,9) but we can fall from grace (Gal. 5:2-4). We are justified by faith (Rom. 5:1) but our faith can become shipwrecked (1 Tim. 1:19,20) and cease to exist (Lk. 8:13; Rom. 11:19-23). We are not under the law (Rom. 6:14,15) but if you live according to the sinful nature you will die (Rom. 8:13). Paul taught against legalism (Gal. 5:3,4) but he also taught that no immoral, impure or greedy person has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God (Eph. 5:5-7). We are not saved by works (Eph. 2:8,9) but to reap eternal life and not destruction you must sow to please the Spirit and not the sinful nature (Gal. 6:8,9). God is faithful to us (1 Jn. 1:9; 1 Cor. 10:13) but we must be faithful to him to the very end of our lives to escape the lake of fire or second death (Rev. 2:10,11). God surely loves us (Jn. 3:16; Mk. 10:21; Rom. 8:35-39) but those who inherit the kingdom of God love God (Jam 2:5; 1 Cor. 2:9) and to love God means to obey his commands (Jn. 14:15; 1 Jn. 5:3). We have freedom in Christ (Gal. 5:1) but this freedom is not to indulge the sinful nature (Gal. 5:13; 1 Pet 2:16).

Please consider getting our 801 page book refuting eternal security entitled, “The Believer’s Conditional Security.” There is MUCH in it that can help you better understand this salvation related subject. http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/whatsnew.htm Remember Gal. 6:8,9 is a SALVATION passage not a rewards passage. GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) I have been thinking about this for a couple days. When a Christian dies does he/she go to Heaven right away or to the grave to be called up by Christ at a later date. I know When Christ was on the cross one thief mocked Christ and the other one asked Jesus to remember him after death. And Christ said “this day you will be with me in paradise.” Thanks

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

Now when a Christian dies he goes straight into the presence of God. Before Jesus’ death, such went to the Abraham side of hades as mentioned in Luke 16:19-31. His body will be resurrected from the grave at the rapture (resurrection of the righteous). There are EXCITING days ahead for the overcomers, while there are horrible days ahead for the people who die spiritually lost .... Remember Heb. 3:14.

(EMAIL) Wow! The Jews killed Jesus?

John 10:18 NO MAN TAKETH IT FROM ME, BUT I LAY IT DOWN OF MYSELF. I HAVE POWER TO LAY IT DOWN, AND I HAVE POWER TO TAKE IT AGAIN. THIS COMMANDMENT HAVE I RECEIVED OF MY FATHER.

SO, JESUS IS A LIAR?

The words are in red. Straighten out your own closet before cleaning other’s.

God is not a man that He should lie.

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

Please don’t get mad at us. We are agreeing with the Apostle Paul who knew about John 10:18, etc. He wasn’t calling Jesus a liar and neither are we. Please read his views carefully:

For you, brothers, became imitators of God’s churches in Judea, which are in Christ Jesus: You suffered from your own countrymen the same things those churches suffered from the Jews, (1 Th 2:14) who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out. They displease God and are hostile to all men (1 Th 2:15) in their effort to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit. The wrath of God has come upon them at last. (1 Th 2:16)

GOD BLESS YOU. Heb. 3:14.

(EMAIL) Hi there. I am a Born Again believer that accepts the doctrine of eternal security. However, I always seek for the truth and challenge things I believe. One thing I do not understand if our salvation is not eternally secured is if we are saved but lose it in sin/by sinning .....how do we again regain it and how does this reflect Jesus requirement to die for our sins. Is his sacrifice applied over and over to us? Thank you and I look forward to your response as your position does have me questioning.

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

YES, a Christian can lose his salvation through certain sins, but there are other ways too! Believing/preaching a false gospel (1 Cor. 15:2; Gal. 1:8,9; Mt. 10:33) or disowning Jesus during persecution can also cause loss of salvation.

Now to answer your question: If we go to the NT and observe how certain ones got their salvation back then we can do the same and it will also work for us. Jesus taught the prodigal became “alive AGAIN” (Lk. 15:24,32) when he repented and sincerely turned to God to serve him. In James 5:19,20 we learn that one can get saved again by going back to where he was before he strayed. In Rom. 11:19-23 the ones cut off can get grafted back in by starting to believe again.

You stated you are a “born again believer.” Such [from] the eternal security perspective is MUCH DIFFERENT from the Biblical perspective. Eternal security doctrine says there are Christian drunks, Christian adulterers, Christian thieves, Christians addicted to porn, etc. Such is a lie. It is impossible to be a real Christian and be in that condition/s at the same time.

Eternal security is a snare. The sooner you shake that from you the better for you and those you love the most. Please consider getting our 801 page book refuting eternal security entitled, “The Believer’s Conditional Security.” There is MUCH in it that can help you better understand this salvation related subject.
