EO Responds To Emails

(EMAIL) First of all, Jesus IS our life, sweetness, and hope. He is and always shall be our one and only God whom we praise and worship. With regard to His mother, Mary, we respect and honor her, as Jesus would want us to do. We do not worship her like so many ignorant people think. Second of all, if you were a true Christian, you would have NEVER written this letter to me. Think about it.

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

You and I both know Catholicism declares MARY (not Jesus) to be “our life, sweetness and hope,” as proclaimed in the Rosary. Please do NOT try to misrepresent what you believe and the Catholic Church teaches about Mary. Lying is a serious sin. See Rev. 21:8.

Jesus would NEVER have you declare Mary as your “life, sweetness and hope.” The Mary of Catholicism is a fabrication—not the Mary of the Bible. Please read this carefully http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/maryofbible.htm

True Christians try to help others out of false doctrine so they can find salvation. Please know it is out of love for your SOUL that this is written. (Remember: Your eternal destiny depends on what you do with the message OF THE BIBLE, 2 Tim. 3:16,17.)

GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) My question ...How do Christian women dress ??? Thank you very much . Do we need to wear long skirts and long hair?? Thanks

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

Christian women (and men) are both to dress MODESTLY. When one considers that another person can be stumbled into sin through lusting after our bodies, we need to try to prevent this. If not, we could be responsible for stumbling another into sin, which is VERY SERIOUS before God.

Regarding this MODEST clothing it is not clearly stated in Scriptures as to the details. Hence, a general statement which fits is, it should NOT be short or form-fitting. (Again, the same is true for men.)

Hair is taught about in 1 Cor. 11. Men are to have SHORT hair and women LONG hair. The reasons why are stated in that chapter.

Some groups who magnify clothing and hair OVERLOOK the vital importance of HEART PURITY. They seem more concerned with the outward than the inward (heart), which is what God looks at. Hope all of that helps you.

GOD BLESS YOU. 1 Tim. 4:16.

(EMAIL) Hi folks

your comments re. the Roman road are correct—NO problem. I believe when leading someone to Christ , it should be kept as simple as possible. There is a point of \“overkill\”. Your other verses can be used as \“follow-up\” , for sure

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

The method of evangelizing in the New Testament by the Lord and his disciples was NEVER the same. Hence, there is NO SET PATTERN of presenting the plan of salvation, as you might already know. That even includes the “Roman’s Road” and Ray Comfort’s approach with questions like: “Do you think you are a good person?”

Since the word “believe” in the New Testament, when associated with salvation, is often CONTINUOUS TENSE, then we need to let people know they must CONTINUE FOLLOWING JESUS. Such a warning up front like that can help make them aware of the HERESY of eternal security.

(EMAIL) I would like some information on Muslims beliefs and the way they do their ministry.

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

Islam is a terrible counterfeit. They proclaim the Koran to be the word of God (when it isn’t) and the Bible “corrupted” (when it is God’s precious truth). They think Mohammed was a true prophet, when he was a false prophet. All of that, and more, has resulted in a false plan of salvation and misunderstanding about the importance of forgiveness of sins. (Islam also denies Jesus died on the cross!)

In a nut shell, Islam has deceived hundreds of millions of people through false doctrine. The devil is a very good deceiver. He doesn’t care if he gets you in hell through Islam, Catholicism, Judaism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormonism, eternal security or some other lie. He has many tricks in his bag and knows how to use them to do much harm.

Please read this about salvation http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/salvationps.htm

GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) Hello,

I noticed your article on the little office of the BVM [Blessed Virgin Mary]. I think you have a misunderstanding of the intercession of the saints, especially Mary’s intercession with her divine son.

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

Please know that we have not misunderstood the Catholic position of the intercession of the saints and of Mary. From personal experience, being raised a Catholic, and also reading the authoritative books on Catholic doctrine, we know what Catholicism teaches.

The big question isn’t do we understand Catholicism, the big question is: Do you know what the Bible says about how to get your sins forgiven? The Catholic church has taught you wrongly about the sacraments, Mary, Sacred Tradition, the Eucharist, the mass, Purgatory, etc. and all of that has you thinking something MUCH different from how the Lord Jesus and his apostles taught.

PLEASE know it is vital for you to find the truth, as cited in Scripture, and change. Your eternal destiny depends on you placing a 100% trusting-submitting faith in JESUS and turning from your sins. There will be no second chances after death. It is NOW, this side of the grave, that we must seek the truth and change before it is too late. Please please take this serious and change. Your precious SOUL is in the greatest danger.

GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) I just want to say that I have learned so much from your book and sermons. I used to believe in OSAS, but not anymore. I notice I am more careful about my walk with the Lord. I see so many lives messed up because of that doctrine. I also used to be in the KJV camp, but not anymore. God got my attention and I feel like I’ve been set free!

I just want to tell you I like your mini sermons. I just started listening to some. I homes school and only have one left, my 15 year old. We are going to start going through your mini sermons. We are going to take one each day.

Thank you again for being so faithful .... Blessings,

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. It is GREAT to know you no longer believe in eternal security and you are now more careful in your walk with Him. There is no way for any human to know how many lives have been ruined and souls damned because of eternal security. It seems that especially new converts and teens are many of the victims, but, like a deadly disease, it can hit almost anyone who is not acquainted with the Bible.

Now that you are out of the KJV snare your overall understanding of the Bible should increase and probably rapidly. The KJV was a wonderful translation when people spoke and wrote like that, but that is no longer the case ....

May God bless you and your family. Remember Rev. 21:4.

(EMAIL) Dear Friends at Evangelical Outreach, I want to thank you for all the great work you are doing at speaking up for the Truth of the Bible. When I read about Jack Van Impe, I remembered attending _____________ church 3 years ago for a short time, and they based their Prophecy class on videos taught by Van Impe, and did not seem bothered at all that he was teaching so many heretical things. I recently turned on Van Impe and was grieved that he is now teaching he knows the year Jesus is returning. I left that church also because the Pastor there warned people if they ever disagreed with their views, they are in danger of losing salvation or rewards from God, and accusing his church of obeying the devil. And I left there because Joyce Meyer according to that church, and also Benny Hinn, were wonderful teachers of nothing but Biblical truth, and people who say otherwise were ignored by most of the people there. It brings me great joy to see a Ministry such as yours defending the Scriptural Truth! Thanks and God bless you!! Sincerely in Christ,

(RESPONSE) Grace and peace be yours in abundance.

Thank you for the kind and encouraging words. Thank God that your eyes have been opened to various false teachings and teachers. Jesus said there would be MANY false prophets at the end of the age and that is certainly proving to be the case in our dark day.

A few years ago Jack Van Impe was quoting Popes as though they were prophets of God and saying many complimenting things about them! WHAT A DISGUSTING SHOCK! Maybe, because of his eternal security belief, he is thinking it only takes a moment of faith to get one into heaven, and is just trying to get Catholics to have that single moment of faith. Whatever, he has caused much harm.

Furthermore, his pre-trib rapture teaching will probably be a snare to many Christians who think they should have been raptured out of here before nuclear bombs start exploding. The Bible teaches such will cause massive devastation BEFORE the rapture ....

God bless you. 1 Cor. 15:58.

(EMAIL) In a nutshell I just wanted to point out I’m a Christian of 5 yrs and am realizing that I don’t agree much with OSAS teaching as I read more of the bible. But I noticed that when I research this and come to sites like yours I believe in the scriptures and stuff but why is it the conditional security teachers always sound so offensive and on the attack of other good christian teaches like John MacCarthur, and Stanley. Now granted they may be wrong but I still believe that they are men of God and that the lord loves them even if they are making this mistake of OSAS. Why do the conditional security sites always seem like their attacking. It makes me wonder if I’m on the wrong side of the teaching. ?? Please respond.... Sincerely

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

It is wonderful to read that you “don’t agree much with OSAS.” I hope that means you know you can die spiritually through sin and it can happen very fast. We have much material on line as well as two books which show this to be the Biblical position.

Regarding John MacArthur and Charles Stanley, since they are staunch proponents of eternal security and have spread that spiritual poison all over the world, they need to be openly exposed and refuted. We have nothing against them personally, or any eternal security proponent, but their doctrine is from the devil. They are stumbling SOULS, not helping them with this doctrine. They often teach soundly in other areas, but when it comes to the various areas related to the believer’s security, they dangerously misrepresent the truth of God. If you sprinkle poison on good food, what happens to those it is served to?

If you think what we have stated is harsh and/or offensive, please read what Jesus openly taught about the Pharisees, in the presence of the Pharisees and others (Mt. 23). Ponder also the Lord’s dialog with the unbelieving Jews in John 8. That was perfect love and wisdom in action, even though it might seem hard, offensive and unloving.

Please carefully ponder Jude. What he wrote was about false teachers who changed “grace” into a license for immorality. Jude never wrote even one kind word about them and clearly stated they are unsaved, even though such people were religious and perhaps sound in other doctrines!

You stated you have been saved 5 years. Please look over this article. It might prove to be a great blessing and help to you http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/newconverts.htm

To have Jesus is to have the GREATEST treasure this life can offer. Please hold on and try to get others to turn from their sins, which are dragging them to hell. Remember Mk. 9:43-48.

Please consider getting our 801 page book refuting eternal security entitled, “The Believer's Conditional Security.” There is MUCH in it that can help you better understand this salvation related subject. http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/whatsnew.htm

This book is the most exhaustive and comprehensive refutation to eternal security ever written.

Remember Gal. 6:8,9 is a SALVATION passage not a rewards passage.

GOD BLESS YOU. 1 Cor. 9:27.

(EMAIL) Thank you for your very helpful clarification of the Gospel!

I teach a grade 6 Sunday School class, and I was asked about John 14:15—“If you love Me, keep My commandments.” The question was, what exactly are the commandments referred to?

John 15:12, and 15:17 specifically say that Jesus commands His followers to love one another, but are there other commandments included in John 14:15?

Thank you for your help.

In Christ,

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

The Lord’s commandments referred to in John 14:15 refer to all of them scattered throughout the Bible [that are relevant under the New Testament]. It would also include all in the epistles, etc., since God had them write what they did. One of Jesus’ chief commands is to “believe on” (or TRUST IN) himself for salvation. Many overlook that as a command. (He doesn’t want any to perish, unlike the Calvinistic message.)

(EMAIL) James 5:19-20 - We must look at the intention of which he refers to “turning back” and “sinner.” It is applied in two ways:

1. The Christian who sins (backslider) must be brought back under righteousness by another brother to prevent chastisement from the Lord!

2. The un-believer who sins must be brought to repentance or suffer eternal death.

Also look at the verses just before in verses 14 - 15, we are all spiritually sick but we must pray and confess v.16 to each other our sins to be healed. That means we sin after we are saved!

...Only through our faith in Jesus Christ can we be saved because we certainly can’t earn it!

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

You wrote:

Now for your verses...

James 5:19-20 - We must look at the intention of which he refers to “turning back” and “sinner.” It is applied in two ways:

1. The Christian who sins (backslider) must be brought back under righteousness by another brother to prevent chastisement from the Lord!

You are only repeating what you heard from another —mere empty words. The people who would stray, as referred to in James 5:19, would have to go back to where they were before straying or their SOULS would be damned because of their present spiritual condition. Hence, it can NOT be people never saved, but people who were once saved and now are back on the road to hell. Also, it is NOT talking about chastisement.

Drop your pre-conceived ideas and believe what the Scriptures say. Stop calling God a liar.

... Remember Gal. 6:8,9 is a SALVATION passage not a rewards passage. GOD BLESS YOU. Heb. 3:14.
