(EMAIL) Charles Stanley is a man of God. Just because he believes in eternal security does not give us the right to say he is unsaved. You will have to leave that to God and pray for the man. I don’t believe in eternal security but I know Charles Stanley is a Christian. Just pray that God will open his eyes but he is not going to lose his salvation because he has not rejected Jesus.
Thank you
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
WHY do you think Charles Stanley is “a man of God”? On what basis? What Scripture? Please get exact.
Stanley’s “gospel” is directly connected to eternal security. Under that banner, he has taught that one can “live like the devil” and still retain his salvation! That is a license for immorality under grace, as Jude referred to (Jude 3,4). Jude went on and stated such people are WITHOUT the Spirit of God and blackest darkness has been prepared for them. He described them in other ways too, but never in a good way. We believe the Bible and MUST therefore conclude such is true for all that teach like that, even if they are on TV and radio.
You stated we need to leave it up to God, that is, if he is saved, but God’s word already tells us in Jude what the truth is. Besides that we have Gal. 1:8,9. That passage condemns all who preach a false “gospel,” which is what eternal security is. If you think otherwise, please ponder how the real “gospel” is described in 1 Cor. 15:2:
By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
You also stated you reject eternal security, then state Stanley will not lose his salvation. How can you say that since you reject eternal security? If you really believed one could lose his salvation, then it would have to be possible for all, including Stanley.
Because Stanley’s HERETICAL doctrine is openly taught and spread around the world, his circle of influence needs to be informed of his deadly errors. Stanley is correct in many teachings, but his “gospel” is a deadly counterfeit and snare to SOULS around the globe. Stanley needs to be exposed and Biblically refuted, not just prayed for. See Eph. 5:11; 2 Tim. 4:2; Jude 3,4; etc.
Please consider getting our 801 page book refuting eternal security entitled, “The Believer’s Conditional Security.” There is MUCH in it that can help you better understand this salvation related subject. http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/whatsnew.htm
This book is the most exhaustive and comprehensive refutation to eternal security ever written. Remember Gal. 6:8,9 is a SALVATION passage not a rewards passage. GOD BLESS YOU.

(SECOND EMAIL FROM SAME PERSON) Love covers a multitude of sins. Charles Stanley is a Christian. Have you ever heard him say he rejects Jesus Christ. When a man rejects Jesus Christ then he is not saved. I have never heard Charles Stanley say Jesus Christ is not God nor have I heard him reject Jesus Christ. So that means Charles Stanley is saved. Mr. Stanley admits Jesus Christ is the only way to God. He admits there is no other way to heaven. Have you prayed for Charles Stanley or are you so determined to see him condemned that you are blinded by the mote in your own eye. Where is your love, why you have not even prayed for the man ..you are so busy condemning. Jesus says those who endure unto the end shall be saved. And yes I know there is no such thing as eternal security for those who reject Jesus Christ and refuse to follow Him but I am not about to lie and say I heard Charles Stanley say he rejects Jesus Christ neither have you. God will hold you accountable for lying. IF YOU HAVE HEARD CHARLES STANLEY SAY HE REJECTS JESUS CHRIST THEN YOU HAVE A REASON TO SAY HE IS NOT CHRISTIAN IF YOU HAVE NOT THEN YOU NEED TO SHUT UP AND REPENT OF YOUR SINS. YOU ARE SO BUSY POINTING THE FINGER YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN TO PRAY THAT GOD OPENS THE EYES OF BROTHER IN CHRIST. IF YOU GOT TH AT MOTE OUT YOUR EYE THEN YOU WOULD SEE HOW TO PRAY FOR YOUR BROTHER WHO HAS NEVER DENIED JESUS CHRIST.
(SECOND RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
It is apparent that you are a devoted Stanley fan like many. He is intelligent, handsome and appears friendly, but that is not proof he is a Christian or that his teachings are sound. Neither is Stanley’s TV broadcast or his ability to quote Scripture proof of his salvation. Remember even the devil can quote Scripture (Luke 4:10,11). You have cited no Scripture as proof why you think Stanley, who is teaching a false gospel, is saved. It also seems that you think one has to verbally say he “rejects” Jesus to lose his salvation. That is not true. There are three main ways to lose salvation [—certain sins, believing/teaching a false plan of salvation and disowning Jesus during persecution]. Furthermore, one can reject God by his actions (Titus 1:16; 1 Thess. 4:7,8).
You think I have a “mote” in my eye because we repeat what Jude and others have written about those who change grace into a license for immorality, like Stanley. Yet you claim to believe the Bible! If that was true there would be no discussion. You would agree with us, rather than condemn us. Why do you side with a dangerous false teacher and oppose us who teach the truth about salvation?
Because Stanley is so influential, he must be refuted publicly for his false gospel, which is also Biblical to do (2 Tim. 2:17,18; Eph. 5:11; etc.). Precious souls are being deceived by him and other eternal security teachers. We have nothing against him as a person, but his doctrine is from the devil. Why do you attack us over the truth? Why don’t you try to get him to change? Did you ever write to Stanley regarding his false gospel and counterfeit grace message (eternal security) since you claim you don’t believe it?
Please search these things out in the Bible and change accordingly. GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) Simply trusting in Jesus does NOT bring about salvation. If it did, then God would have lied to us in all the many passages which require baptism, repentance, confession of faith, love, obedience, good works, grace and a faith which works through love; not a faith which consists only of trusting. And, God can’t lie.
When y’all spew the demonic filth of your faith alone feces you dig yourself a really deep hole- its name is hell.
I can straighten you out, if you’ll hold still; but I doubt you will Want to go for it?
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
A person is saved at the point of a TRUSTING & SUBMITTING FAITH IN JESUS. NOTE: the word “submitting.” It takes a faith in JESUS that will obey to bring salvation. AFTER a person gets saved (when he also a “disciple”), he then gets water baptized. Water baptism does NOT bring about forgiveness of sins.
One is saved instantly but a saving faith (or living faith) will have good works with TRUST IN JESUS, according to James. Also, a saving faith can afterwards cease to exist and die. At which point the person will die spiritually.
It seems that you may have been deceived or adversely affected by the Church of Christ. We have material on water baptism which may help you http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/baptism.htm
GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) Please help me understand what this is all about. I have been hearing a lot lately about the Word of Faith doctrine as being False doctrine. Guys like Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, and others. As being false teachers/prophets. You know the name it and claim it teachings, The health, wealth, and prosperity doctrines. Do you have any information in reference to this? Please let me know in perfect details. (elaborately). Thank-you and God Bless.
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
The Prosperity Message is a GREED-generating teaching and snare to souls. It is so far from the New Testament message it is in a different ball park, so to speak. NO Christian sought after material things in the Bible. They were instead interested in winning souls, personal holiness, doing the will of God in a general way and enduring to the end for salvation’s sake. To strive first for material things is to have the same goals as the darkened and hell-bound.
The Bible teaches we are to have FAITH in God and His promises for deliverance, help, healing, etc. at least hundreds of times if not thousands. How any person, who claims to believe the Bible, can contest such is beyond me. The BEST way for you to learn about faith is to SEEK the truth from the Bible directly.
Have you read this article http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/prosperi.htm
.... GOD BLESS YOU. Heb. 3:14.

(EMAIL) Warm Christian greetings!
Thank you for the latest e mail; I look forward to receiving these each week.
I note that often in your answers to people you encourage them to read the Bible without study notes and commentaries. This is very sound advice. One of my regrets over the years is that I wish I had spent more time reading the Word and less time reading study Bibles etc. Many study Bibles explain away verses that warn about the possibility of falling away.
Do you know how OSAS actually started? Do you have an article giving the history of this teaching?
Kind regards in Jesus
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
Yes, we have a history of how eternal security started in our book, “The Believer’s Conditional Security.” It really started with the devil at Gen. 3:4. Israel seemed to believe in it at times. Augustine, then Calvin were the most recent ones responsible for this poison. Now the book publishers, seminaries, pulpits, etc. are all spreading this lie as the “gospel” and “grace.” Hard to believe but true! These are DARK DAYS.
The “study” Bibles are really indoctrination Bibles because they spread eternal security and other forms of Calvinism. Most don’t seem to be aware of this though.
Thanks for the kind words. Your prayers, etc. would be appreciated.
GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) Now that I have taken myself out of the church that I learned from paying attention I am so sad that a man that can teach the Bible as well as he does (except for osas) I am looking again and I tell you, it appears the pickings are slim. This man is 31 years old, stemming from a Pentecostal background and has a wonderful family. I am __________—the church I just left is Baptist. Now I do not get caught up in denominations, but I prefer a church that allows the holy spirit to move and work. In Christ I have learned to love this man and it is so sad and I hate what is going on. I am thankful that I found your ministry, or rather its more like God sent it to me but I have no idea how to talk to the pastor and not feel like I am trying to tell him what to do. I do not want to be hurtful, but I know what the Bible says about osas. I want to leave as God would have me to do. I do not want to be next weeks sermon, or labeled wishie washie and I certainly do not want to be a topic of conversation. But the Bible promises if we serve Him the persecutions will come. I do not want to be right, I just want to be right with God. Please help me with how God would want me to handle this. If someone ask me why I left, should I tell the whole story or just say something on the order that God has chosen another place for me. I need answers as soon as possible
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
Your email blesses us. It is GREAT you know osas is a lie from the devil.
As much as you have Christian love for that preacher he is still serving the devil. He is a SNARE TO PEOPLE’S SOULS, but doesn’t know it. He is NOT qualified to be there. He is opposing the TRUTH. Regarding leaving that congregation, just leave. I used to be a Catholic. When I realized they were leading me to hell, I left. After leaving, I had wonderful opportunities to witness to various people who asked WHY I left. They listened because I left. Had I stayed in it my witness would have been nullified.
What I would do if I were you is try to phone, write or meet with as many people you know and point out the verses for a conditional security and the true grace of God. Don’t worry about being his future sermon. Before God, you need to try to help those people out of their deception. Osas has taken them off their guard, crushed the fear of God, etc. They need TRUTH and few can and are willing to spread it.
Have you ordered our materials? OSAS can be a complicated issue. The devil has been using this lie for a looooong time and has some very refined and deceptive arguments—flawed but still convincing to some not aware of the Biblical message.
May God help you and us all. This is a very intense spiritual war with only FEW (minority) in the end being “overcomers.” Remember 1 Tim. 4:16 & 1 Cor. 9:27.
GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) I read the arguments that people use for pre-trib rapture. Some I’ve heard of and some I haven’t. But there are two very powerful ones you failed to mention; 1) the words of Jesus in Rev 2:20-23: Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. If these people repented as Jesus said will they still go through the great tribulation? At the end of each message to each church Jesus said to hear what the Spirit has said unto the churches, churches being plural or every local church.
2) The lesson Jesus taught in Matthew 25 about the ten virgins. The five wise went in and the door was shut. The five foolish were not allowed to inter in. Could these five foolish virgins possibly be the saints mentioned in the tribulation? Do you think it is a coincident that a Jewish wedding lasted for seven days or one week? By looking at these two powerful pre-trib rapture arguments, it gives some of the others you mentioned more merit.
I believe in the pre-trib rapture but no matter if I am right or you are right neither one of us are going when we want to, but, when Jesus comes.
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
The Scripture you cited in Rev. 2:22, which refers to great tribulation, is NOT the same “great tribulation” referred to around the return of Christ.
The 5 foolish virgins in Mt. 25 were NO LONGER SAVED. How can we be sure? Jesus said he did not “KNOW” them (Mt. 25:12). [“Know”] the language of salvation (John 17:3; etc.). NOTE: He didn’t say to them “I never knew you” but instead “I don’t know you.” They were previously saved, but were NO LONGER SAVED.
You are right that wanting the rapture to occur at a certain point will NOT make it occur. Even though we believe in a POST trib. rapture we certainly hope we are wrong in this and the PRE-trib rapture people are right, but Scripture states otherwise.
Please consider signing up for our weekly email teachings, updates, etc. If interested, you can do that here http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/contact.htm
GOD BLESS YOU. Heb. 3:14.

(EMAIL) Christ\’s blessings and grace be with you! I have a question about the eating of pork. Leviticus 11:7 clearly forbids this practice and Isaiah 66:17 warns against it as well. However, Mark 7:14-23 seems to suggest that all foods are \“clean\”. Please advise. Many thanks.
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
Christians can now eat pork and other foods that were forbidden under the Mosaic ceremonial law. The Lord Jesus did away with that (Mk. 7:18,19). That is why Paul wrote Christians could eat whatever was sold in a meat market. While that is true there are also restrictions attached:
Eat anything sold in the meat market without raising questions of conscience, for, “The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it.” If some unbeliever invites you to a meal and you want to go, eat whatever is put before you without raising questions of conscience. But if anyone says to you, “This has been offered in sacrifice,” then do not eat it, both for the sake of the man who told you and for conscience’ sake—the other man’s conscience, I mean, not yours. For why should my freedom be judged by another’s conscience? (1 Cor 10:25-29)
See also Rom. 14. We have a section of our book refuting eternal security (“The Believer’s Conditional Security”) on the Christian liberty message, which deals with foods. If you own it, see chapter 11.
It seems that some Yeshua groups are saying we are under the dietary laws of the Old Testament, when we clearly are not.
While we won’t get defiled spiritually by eating pork, eating such food is certainly not the best for our physical health.
GOD BLESS YOU. Heb. 3:14.

(EMAIL) One thing you lack: You are reading and quoting from the New Age “Bibles.” They are polluted so badly that unless you know the root from which they come, you’ll more than likely argue like my Christian son (addicted to hard metal music) that rock n roll up through rap music is ok, just as long as their music contains Religious Messages there is nothing wrong with the music. This is even in spite of the fact that these “Christian” Bands seldom, if ever mention the Name of Jesus. I hope you understand the analogy I just presented.
Sometimes what seems crystal clear to me isn’t as clear to the reader. It seems that telling someone the New Age “Bibles” are polluted elicits as much of an outrage from believers as telling them the Rapture Doctrine is a false doctrine.
I do appreciate your stance on the false pre-Rapture doctrine. Thank you for you courage on that matter.
...I was deceived both about the Rapture and also thought the New Versions of the Bible were just fine at one time.
...The Word speaks for itself, regarding the changing, in ANY way...even a dot or a tittle, of God’s Holy Word....Thanking you in advance for your courage and consideration. Very Sincerely,
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
We are not reading and quoting from any Bible version that is not sound and reputable. For you to label the version we use as “New Age” you must have been deceived by Gail Riplinger or one of her friends. The saddest thing about the KJV onlyites is that you are promoting a translation that you can NOT understand to others who won’t be able to understand it either. In fact, you can’t even pronounce the strange words in the KJV much less know their meanings.
Though you never actually cited Rev. 22:19 to condemn all non-KJV translations, it is highly possible you were referring to it. If that is the case, then you are actually teaching indirectly that one must read the KJV to have salvation, since Rev. 22:19 shows loss of salvation for violators of that passage.
We have an important booklet on KJV Onlyism, if you are interested. Please change your message and spread a holiness and endurance teaching—not a favorite translation!
BTW, you called your son “Christian” yet stated he is addicted to hard metal music. Please do NOT be deceived. He is NOT a Christian. If a person is addicted to any sin, he is not saved. There is no eternal security.
GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) i AM very unsure of where i stand with Jesus. I bought your book The Believer’s Conditional Security. I have questions: I was sexually abused as a young man by a an older female; i experimented with sex from age 10 on. I am __ now. Baptized at 12 by Baptists; married at 25; widowed at 26; remarried at age 27; divorced by my spouse for my adulterous affairs at 36; met a divorced woman and remarried at 37; we divorced after another adultery on my part; I was rebaptized and spoke with tongues at 26 after my first wife died. I backslid from a Pentecostal fellowship and over the years have been trapped in sorrowful/ and illicit sexual relationships. In my heart I do not think I have ever been born again. I want to be a Christian and i am so tired of fornicating. Where do start? Can I ever really be married or should strive for celibacy? Please help! Thank you....
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
It is wonderful to read that you want to be a Christian. That is the WISEST endeavor you have ever had! It is VERY SIMPLE and EASY to understand what it takes to be a real Christian—a 100% heartfelt commitment to the Lord Jesus. Drop to your knees and pour your heart out to God. Tell him you are deeply sorry for all the sin and pain you have caused for others and you want to be saved and forgiven. Ask him for mercy because your sins are dragging you to hell and you desperately need Jesus to save you. A humble, sincere and heartfelt prayer to God with a real desire to turn away from wickedness to serve God and follow Jesus is the formula for success over sin. By that I mean you will be set free from your sin addictions. You will become a new creation with new and holy interests and desires. That is when you will be “born again.”
You are in a sad spiritual condition, but we all are when on the road to hell. You have a MAJOR advantage though over many, that is, you know you are not a Christian. You are correct, but that will change. When you get saved, which will happen instantly when you turn from your sins and extend a trusting and submitting faith in JESUS, your sins will be washed away. This is all the information you need, but here are two other articles that will help futher explain salvation:
http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/salvationps.htm
http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/believing.htm
God will turn your life around and use you mightily as you surrender your will to Him. You will have the GREATEST purpose to life on earth—to do God’s will.
GOD BLESS YOU. (Please keep in touch.)
