EO Responds To Emails

(EMAIL) Jesus is YHWH of the Old Testament... was a good article and I thank you for it, but how can you still call the Trinity real. Where was the Holy Spirit in your article. Where are the numerous verses that tell us God the Father created Jesus. If you fail to see the truth That God has a Son and the Son is subjective to the Father then you fail to see that the Trinity doctrine is nothing but error .. I am amazed at how a part of the Truth can be hidden. Sincerely ________
(RESPONSE) The article you referred to was ONLY about Jesus, not the Holy Spirit too. Read this article http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/trinity.htm
Jesus was not created. Read this http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/jw's2.htm Jesus being in subjection to the Father does NOT refer to “nature,” but only office. Jesus is God by nature. Read this http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/deity.htm
GOD BLESS YOU.
_______________
(EMAIL) It would appear you have swallowed hook line and sinker the proposition of trinity. What refutes this is simple. The attributes of God.
God is a spirit....true or false
God is omnipresent....true or false
God is omniscient.... true or false
God is omnipotent......true or false
Obviously the answers are in the affirmative in all cases. It concludes simply then that the Spirit of The lord is the Spirit of God is the Holy Spirit for we are plainly told the Spirit of God is Holy or is the Holy Spirit.
Plainly we are told Jesus was God manifest in the flesh and was wholly man and wholly God yet had divested Himself of His glory while here for again we are informed had He not done so no man could have lived.. But this He took up again on ascension.
Jesus Himself clearly states He is God and in Rev. clearly states He alone is the Alpha and the Omega.
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
The word “God” must be considered under the context. For example, Gen. 1:26 shows plurality (or compound unity) in the Godhead. The Scripture you refer to is John 4:24 and it refers to the Father alone. At other times it may refer to Jesus, who is the God-man. Jesus is called “God” in John 20:28; Heb. 1:8; John 1:1; etc. What throws off the Jehovah’s Witnesses and others is that Jesus is also “man,” unlike the Father or the Holy Spirit. His attributes as a man are what the JWs magnify and they avoid the rest of the evidence about his identity.

(EMAIL) I read your article on the topic, “Can a Christian Lose His Salvation with One Sin?”, and I was enlightened in small way, not least because its main themes apply to my life.
I have given my life to Christ in the past, but right now, my life is not exactly as a Christian’s ought to be. Where do I stand on this matter in the light of what I read? Am I on the road to hell? And how can I get back on track? Please tell me the truth, because I need to know - you might be my last chance.
Thanks for everything, nonetheless. Sincerely,
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
YES, you can come back to God. God wants YOU back. Though you sinned greatly so have others who REPENTED (turned from their sins) and got God’s mercy. Rather than repeat what we already wrote, please read these:
http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/backslider.htm
http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/prodigal.htm
Remember also that David got forgiven after adultery and murder; Peter got forgiven after disowning Jesus; the unnamed people in James 5:19,20 who would commit a multitude of sins could also get forgiven. YOU CAN TOO! Don’t let the devil tell you that you can not get forgiven.

(EMAIL) I just found your site this morning .... I have quickly come to realize that this body of believers has not been clearly taught and therefore has not taken clear definitive stands on who they are and what they believe. ...I am a firm adherent of Conditional Salvation. Last night I just accepted a families resignation and notice of leaving this church because they hold to ES [eternal security] without waver.
I am seeking advice. I’ve been in the ministry since ____ but have never had such a plethora of positions within a church I served. I now am struggling with how I proceed with bringing this church to clarity of doctrine and deciding what Essentials we should declare.
Can I be an effective pastor if the people are so divided? Should ES become an issue of division? I am surrounded here by Baptist churches and others who hold to ES. Many here in this church agree with Conditional Salvation....
I just purchased your 2 set paper back books on ES. Should this become an issue?
How do I preach and teach without the influence of my view of Conditional Security? IS it healthy to just say, “well there are two views, you must pick for yourself?” I don’t think so. Any advice would be helpful.
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
We are living in the HARDEST time in Christian history to pastor a church. The two major problems are our wicked society in general and all the false teachings on radio, TV, in books, etc. The heresies come flooding and gushing out to where very few in any congregation won’t hear these doctrines of demons. For the ones not grounded in sound doctrine (most church goers)—they will probably be deceived. Consequently, you have your work cut out for you (and we do too with our ministry).
Here is the solution: simple, but effective: “Preach the Word” (2 Tim. 4:2). The context of that is this:
Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. (2 Tim 4:2) For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. (2 Tim 4:3) They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. (2 Tim 4:4)
What a wonderful BLESSING to have that unwavering eternal security family leave the congregation, since they reject the truth. THANK YOU GOD. We know a congregation ________ where the heresy of eternal security started small and wasn’t addressed and refuted with Scripture, as it should have been, and that wicked “leaven” almost adversely ruined the entire congregation!!! You are blessed to have them leave now and spare yourself serious trouble down the road.
Verse by verse teaching is the best way to teach. To focus in upon eternal security let me recommend teaching verse by verse through 1 Timothy. That epistle is a powerful refutation to eternal security, though most have never noticed it. This might help http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/1timothy.htm
“Essential” doctrine is a made up term in our DARK DAY. You will never see this type of language in the New Testament anywhere. But if anything needs to be addressed and refuted, it has to be a counterfeit “gospel” and “grace.” The eternal security teachers actually openly declare their doctrine under those terms!!!!!! SHOCKING, but true. We are in a DEEP DARK APOSTASY. Holiness and endurance for salvation are scoffed at and rejected by the counterfeit “grace” of our day.
To be a deacon, one must be sound, which excludes anyone who believes in eternal security (1 Tim. 3:9,10)....
Your books and other free materials will be sent today. We have many other materials and teachings, which may interest you. Please don’t hesitate to write again or phone. We are here to help, if we can. GOD BLESS YOU. Remember 1 Tim. 4:16 & 1 Cor. 9:27

(EMAIL) While I don’t agree with “once saved, always saved,” I also don’t agree with the way you present your article. I’ve looked up the reasons they have for believing what they do, and I can see why they think that. I think it genuinely makes sense to them. They may be WRONG, but your hateful presentation is very un-Christ-like. Instead of seeing that most of them probably believe it for the right reasons, you make them out to be deceivers and stir hate. The bible wants believers to be united. You’re not doing God’s will by sniping.
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
Since you don’t agree with OSAS and claim to agree with us doctrinally, why don’t you ask them how they can teach such a DAMNABLE HERESY as both the “gospel” and “grace” rather than criticizing us? By teaching that, they are misleading multitudes to hell. It would also be to your advantage to carefully read and ponder what Jude wrote about these eternal security teachers. Besides stating they change “grace” into a license for immorality (verses 3,4), he also stated many other facts about them showing they are unsaved people. Hence, do NOT take issue with us for agreeing with the Bible. Either you change and believe the same or stop claiming to be a Bible-believer.
Our teachings are not “hate” as you have labeled them. We speak the truth in Christian love, which at times can seem harsh. Ponder Jesus’ rebuke in Mt. 23. Would you call that “hate” too? See also John 8.

(EMAIL) Hi, I am inquiring about the book of Enoch weather is for Christian or not, is there any information on the subject?. thank you...
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
The book of Enoch is NOT sound and therefore not for Christians. Christians have the 27 books of the New Testament and 39 books of the Old Testament. If you want to purchase our work on this you can do that here http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/enoch.htm
BE CAREFUL you do not get deceived. There are many false teachings out there and many spurious books claiming to be Scripture and authoritative. Go ONLY by the Bible.
