EO Responds To Emails

(EMAIL) My name is _____. I attend a Baptist church and have been for many years. At my first beginning to grow in the Lord, I would listen very attentive to every word the preacher spoke and still do. I continued to read my Bible at home everyday. Things began to not make sense to what I was hearing the preacher preach about being saved, and what the Holy Ghost was telling me as I read the word myself. I began to pray and ask the Lord to show me if I am seeing this wrong and the preacher is right ... the Holy Ghost never did show me different, my belief just got stronger and stronger in that salvation is not once I speak I believe and continue to live as I want to kind of thing....THIS IS NOT TRUE, although the preacher would say this, “if you continually sin afterwards you’re still saved...but the LORD will take you out so you can’t rub His name in the ground”.............well, to me I thought well!, people will think....I’ll just get to heaven quicker!!! This is the work of Satan as in the garden with eve.
I still wonder why I’m shown this and many of my church brothers and sisters are not, and really many, many in the world don’t see this. Why me LORD. I speak my faith when lead to do so...not to cause discord by no means, but I feel lead at times to my brothers and sisters to point out why I see as I do. The Lord has not moved me from my church, but works through me many times to convict and make them uncomfortable in their life of living the way they want.... My desire is to please my Lord, I want His favor on me .... I’m jealous as He is of me, I want to be His #1, and strive and talk with my Lord daily about issues of my relations to others, and if I’m right or wrong show me the way LORD, I say. I still don’t understand myself at times why I can’t just get along with peoples different beliefs ... but I can’t, and it makes me angry to listen to those lies. I’m pretty much a loner but not alone ... I have Jesus with me to continue to work on me to help myself as well as others ..... and it HURTS most of the time as I journey this road. Love your site...God Bless Pray for me.
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
The reason you can see that eternal security is not Biblical is because you are reading your Bible and drawing near to God. The vast majority of church-goers just listen to the preacher and trust his teaching. Because you are different you can see the lethal danger in once saved always saved. You get angry over those “lies” because you love truth and realize the harm they are causing to souls.
You stated that the Lord has not moved you from your church. The only thing stopping such is you. God does not want you to support that false gospel and counterfeit grace message by your physical attendance and financial donations. To do so is to be partly responsible in spreading their false message about salvation, even though you reject it:
If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your house or welcome him. Anyone who welcomes him shares in his wicked work. (2 John 10:11)
If you left that congregation you could still witness to the people attending there. In fact, your witness would be more powerful since they would know you left the congregation over the false teaching. You could send them letters or phone them.
We are VERY SORRY you are alone, but there are many others just like you. We are in a deep apostasy. Any congregation that teaches eternal security is misleading the people in many doctrines related to sin, salvation, grace, etc. Please consider getting our 801 page book refuting eternal security entitled, “The Believer’s Conditional Security.” There is MUCH in it that can help you better understand this salvation related subject. http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/whatsnew.htm
This book is the most exhaustive and comprehensive refutation to eternal security ever written....
Remember Gal. 6:8,9 is a SALVATION passage not a rewards passage. GOD BLESS YOU.

(SECOND EMAIL) Thank You so much for your Biblical help. I do e-mail many of my brothers and sisters, and preacher, on such teachings about this eternal security and how it’s not right, and how people are so confused about being saved......and I have stirred quite a stir, but yet, you are right in what you say from God’s word. I see it clear. Thank You again, and the Lord be with and keep you safe in teaching the TRUTH!
The Lord Jesus will also be doing the same for me.
I also see it like this...........maybe the preacher can see the wrong, but because he has been teaching over __ years and has built such a congregation on this teaching, he may have to consider the worst ever, for saying...I WAS WRONG. But, it would be better to repent than to BURN! Amen!
God Bless You....
(SECOND RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
You are right about preachers of eternal security, especially the ones who have been at it a long time. They have much to lose to declare the truth, but if we gain the whole world and yet go to hell what good will it be. Have you signed up for our internet church?....
Also, please remember 2 John 10,11. GOD BLESS YOU. Heb. 3:14.

(EMAIL) I have been a Christian for a few years. I had to leave the church I was going to because it was far away from my home. I have visited many different churches teaching many different things, and am very confused about what is the truth. Do you have a basic list of things that would help me tell which church is a valid church? I’ve been trying to find one for 2 years.... Do you know of a good church or what denominations are valid denominations. I’ve emailed websites, and never get an answer. I don’t have any family or friends who are Christians to go to for help. Please help me! GOD bless you.
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
We are very sorry for the confusion and discouragement. The best thing you can do is read the New Testament carefully for yourself and change accordingly.
To find a sound church in our apostate day is not going to be easy! MANY have written us over this issue. That is why we started an internet church. Please consider signing up for our weekly email teachings, updates, etc. If interested, you can do that here http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/contact.htm
Some of the major common errors in churches today are: eternal security, the ecumenical tendencies and the prosperity message. These are common and major spiritual snares. Since you are a new convert, this articles should help too http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/newconverts.htm

(EMAIL) Being born again, we are forgiven our sin past, present and future until the day we are with the lord, so what if the sins of the future that only God would know is a sin of immorality, whether a glance look and act? or worse. Are not we forgiven such sins, seeing how we are born again, able to go to Christ with a confessing and repentant heart? All sins have been forgiven from birth to death, not that we use this as an excuse to sin which is unGodly. Please give me your thoughts on the matter. Thank you
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
You have cited no Bible verses for your beliefs. Your doctrine is not Scriptural. A Christian’s future sins are not automatically forgiven before he commits them. You have been wrongly and dangerously taught. Rather than repeat what we have already wrote, please read this http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/futuresins.htm
We believe that we are saved by grace (Eph. 2:8,9) but we can fall from grace (Gal. 5:2-4). We are justified by faith (Rom. 5:1) but our faith can become shipwrecked (1 Tim. 1:19,20) and cease to exist (Lk. 8:13; Rom. 11:19-23). We are not under the law (Rom. 6:14,15) but if you live according to the sinful nature you will die (Rom. 8:13). Paul taught against legalism (Gal. 5:3,4) but he also taught that no immoral, impure or greedy person has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God (Eph. 5:5-7). We are not saved by works (Eph. 2:8,9) but to reap eternal life and not destruction you must sow to please the Spirit and not the sinful nature (Gal. 6:8,9). God is faithful to us (1 Jn. 1:9; 1 Cor. 10:13) but we must be faithful to him to the very end of our lives to escape the lake of fire or second death (Rev. 2:10,11). God surely loves us (Jn. 3:16; Mk. 10:21; Rom. 8:35-39) but those who inherit the kingdom of God love God (Jam 2:5; 1 Cor. 2:9) and to love God means to obey his commands (Jn. 14:15; 1 Jn. 5:3). We have freedom in Christ (Gal. 5:1) but this freedom is not to indulge the sinful nature (Gal. 5:13; 1 Pet 2:16).

(EMAIL) Hello from S. Ireland.
I just read the email you sent to me recently as someone on your mailing list. I read about Dan Corner’s new book against the OSAS false teaching and how he challenged Dave Hunt to a public debate. It was all very interesting. I just knew this very appealing doctrine was not biblical! I began to question this idea when I watched Charles Stanley, as I sometimes do on a Saturday afternoon on satellite TV here in S. Ireland. I had been raised to believe it was false but I became so impressed by Dr. Stanley’s teaching, I felt he might have a point. I think he has many fine teachings on his ‘In Touch’ program. I sometimes watch them on his web site during the week also. (I only ‘discovered’ his ministry last year!)
I’ve known about Dave Hunt for many years....the RC cult and how it is the enemy of the Christian faith. I grieve how so many in my country are brain-washed by it.... Regards,
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name from the USA.
You are absolutely correct that eternal security is false. Dave Hunt and Charles Stanley are leading MULTITUDES to hell over this doctrine. This is very serious, but few seem to recognize it. Too many church people want this world and heaven too, which is impossible....
GOD BLESS YOU. Heb. 3:14.

(EMAIL) I’m getting to like your website. I enjoyed reading on the winners! I’m sure you receive hundred of emails, and I don’t want to burden you with another one?
From what I’m reading from you web, this is the kind of study I’ve been looking for, having good information seldom if not ever found in our churches today. Today the sermons are so watered down, they are stinking. I’ve been aware of many of the false teachers/prophets for many years, but certainly not all of them. There are just too many. Yes, we are in the last days.
...Before closing Dan, you are preaching the truth from what I’ve gathered so far. In time, I will know more about EO. This is all new to me.
Your brother in Christ Jesus, not by any other name, JESUS. I love your article about the Lord’s name, JESUS is his name.
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
Thanks for the kind words. We do have many unique articles. Many ministries won’t touch these issues but people vitally need answers and truth. We are in it for SOULS and to please our great God, whom we love.
With things unfolding with this global economic problem it makes us wonder how much closer the antichrist will be to power when things settle down. One day in the future the antichrist will have total control of the entire monetary system (Rev. 13:16,17)!

(EMAIL) Hello. Please i want u to tell me how can i overcome my sexual feelings..example When i sees a woman..i start thinking of her in the mind ..Please tell me how can i stop that i dont want to think of a woman but my life and education..How can i overcome lustful thoughts in the mind.........Look sometimes i happen to be tempted to see a woman sometime my Mom or my sister..But at night i use to touch my cousin and i hope that i am [not] sinning ...Please tell me how can i stop all that and overcome all those sexual thoughts and feelings of sex. i am young and i don’t want to do that now ........Please Help me and Pray for me..have a nice day and hope to meet you soon ..bye..
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
First, you need salvation. You need to humbly ask God (from your knees if possible) for mercy because of your wickedness. You have various sins and not just ADULTERY. (Lust in the heart is “adultery,” which will damn one, Mt. 5:28,29.) Your sins are dragging you to hell and you have only one hope—the Lord Jesus, the only Savior (Acts 4:12; John 14:6; 1 Tim. 2:5; etc.). You must get serious about turning from all sins and place 100% of your faith in Jesus, that is, a trusting-submitting and obeying faith in JESUS.
After repenting (turning away from sins), there are things you must do for yourself such as: Stop watching TV, which is a lust generator. Avoid certain people, places and things that might lead you into sin. For example do not go to a beach, public swimming pool or bar. Your mind needs to be washed out and fed wholesome thoughts, which the New Testament can do. Memorize certain Scriptures and ponder the vital truths found therein. Read and reread the New Testament. Read at least 5 chapters a day. It won’t take that much time and it will be time well spent.
As you continue to fight against sin, remember this life is only a “test” to see if you will be worthy of Jesus and eternal life. Our life is very short. Many died younger than you. Finally, remember God will give you a real purpose to live as you draw near to him. He is alive, you have a SOUL, most will go to hell and eternity is long. Please read these articles:

(EMAIL) It is unfortunate that you are thinking less of the Holy Spirit that is on every “true” believer. A “true” Christian, would realize that he or she doesn’t have the luxury of living a worldly life, for the Holy Spirit will convict every true believer of his/her sin that is why 1John 1:9 is written for. Please be reminded that a true believer does not have a license to sin. I hope that you realize that Dr. Ryrie is writing about a true believer. By the gesture of your comments, I can assume that you are not a dispensationalist, and you are still under the Mosaic. I hope that you do fulfill all of the 613 laws therein, for if “you break one, you break them all.”
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
We don’t “think less of the Holy Spirit.” We have a Biblical view of things, including the danger of false teachers like Charles Ryrie and other eternal security teachers. Ryrie is NOT your friend, even though you apparently like his teachings. He is actually laying a snare for your soul (and others) having you think sin cannot bring a saved person to his spiritual death.
8:13). 2:10,11). We have freedom in Christ (Gal. 5:1) but this freedom is not to indulge the sinful nature (Gal. 5:13; 1 Pet 2:16)....
GOD BLESS YOU. Heb. 3:14.

(EMAIL) I read your Google , and I have a question for you....You are no doubt a very honest hearted minister who genuinely cares for souls, and I agree with you that we may suffer much persecution, and will be hated by all men for His Name sake. What will trinitarians do when Jesus says “depart from me I never knew you.”? The bride takes the name of the bridegroom (Act 2:38). True believers will be persecuted for HIS NAME. A lie is lie if it is a day old or two thousand years old....a good friend of mine who happens to be a Baptist says all you need to do is believe, but Jesus said “If you believe on me as the scripture has said out your belly will flow wells of living water.”..I sincerely believe you are a spirit filled believer, but God truly wants us to declare the whole council of God...I would love to hear from you ......Yours in Christ
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
From your email it appears you are United Pentecostal or “Jesus Only.” You have been wrongly taught one must be water baptized in Jesus’ name to get forgiven, people who believe in the Trinity are going to hell, Jesus is the Father and one must speak in tongues to be saved. All of these points are dangerously false. Rather than repeat what is already on our web site, please read the following:
http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/baptism.htm
http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/trinity.htm
http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/jesusnotfather.htm
Salvation comes instantly at the point of a trusting-submitting faith in Jesus, before water baptism, etc. One must repent or perish. There is no eternal security. See also this http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/newconverts.htm
GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) I was surprised to see you list Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa. I have been going to Calvary Chapel for quite a few years and see that your quotes are from his book entitled, Why Grace Changes Everything, 1994 ed.) How about a update to see where he stands, for I know that he has grown and revised some of his past teachings. Keep up the great work! Christ’s Blessings,
(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.
If you think Chuck Smith has changed, please document a recent teaching of his where he has stated a Christian can lose his salvation or something to that effect. If you find such, especially on his church web site, we will remove the skull and crossbones award we gave him.
GOD BLESS YOU. Heb. 3:14.
