(EMAIL) Go back and dig a little deeper and you will find that GOD said “I give you a day for a year.” He was talking about prophecy. Now go do the study on the background of the NIV and the NKJV and you and the writers of the manuscripts that they come from were devil worshipers. They hated the King James and so do you. You doubt the word of the Holy Bible, and are trying to destroy a church that most likely disfellowshipped you. I have been a Adventist for almont 50 years and I’ve come across other Jesuits like you.

To think every prophecy is a day for a year is a grave error and an unscriptural conclusion. Consider the following, which is not a day for a year:
Therefore, at this time tomorrow I will send the worst hailstorm that has ever fallen on Egypt, from the day it was founded till now. Give an order now to bring your livestock and everything you have in the field to a place of shelter, because the hail will fall on every man and animal that has not been brought in and is still out in the field, and they will die. (Exo 9:18,19)
If the manuscripts from which the NIV and NKJV are based on are from devil worshippers, many people have gotten saved and spiritually blessed over the years by them. (FYI: They are not based on the same manuscript!) I believe you are just repeating what you heard some radical KJV Onlyite teach which is unfounded.
Please know I have not been disfellowshipped from any church and am not a Jesuit in disguise. It is also irrational to say I’m a Catholic (Jesuit), since our teachings refute Catholicism.

(EMAIL) I decided to believe in and follow Christ when I was 19 years old. I realize now that there were certain people who planted seeds while I was going through my teen years. I came to understand the gospel and that I needed a saviour. I have repented for my sins and asked his forgiveness but I find myself still entangled in certain sins that I have struggled with. Such as anger, I can be quick tempered and say things I shouldn’t. I sometimes talk like a fool. I am not always a good witness because of this. I want to change. I’m not sure how. I am sometimes scared that maybe I am not really saved. Though I know I can only trust in Christ and not myself. I am a bit confused. Could you be of help regarding salvation and sins after we are saved? Thank you!

Charles Stanley is a very influential teacher who is also esteemed and trusted for his teachings. Yet he is dangerously teaching about grace, sin, salvation, and the related as he saturates his listening audience with the heresy of eternal security. To expose and refute a false teacher like Stanley is Biblical (Jude 3,4; Eph. 5:11; etc.) as well as naming the false teacher/s (2 Tim. 2:17,18).
SOULS will go to hell because of what Stanley and other eternal security teachers are declaring. Someone better try to help the few who want truth rather than just an excuse to go and sin.
We believe that we are saved by grace (Eph. 2:8,9) but we can fall from grace (Gal. 5:2-4). We are justified by faith (Rom. 5:1) but our faith can become shipwrecked (1 Tim. 1:19,20) and cease to exist (Lk. 8:13; Rom. 11:19-23). We are not under the law (Rom. 6:14,15) but if you live according to the sinful nature you will die (Rom. 8:13). Paul taught against legalism (Gal. 5:3,4) but he also taught that no immoral, impure or greedy person has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God (Eph. 5:5-7). We are not saved by works (Eph. 2:8,9) but to reap eternal life and not destruction you must sow to please the Spirit and not the sinful nature (Gal. 6:8,9). God is faithful to us (1 Jn. 1:9; 1 Cor. 10:13) but we must be faithful to him to the very end of our lives to escape the lake of fire or second death (Rev. 2:10,11). God surely loves us (Jn. 3:16; Mk. 10:21; Rom. 8:35-39) but those who inherit the kingdom of God love God (Jam 2:5; 1 Cor. 2:9) and to love God means to obey his commands (Jn. 14:15; 1 Jn. 5:3). We have freedom in Christ (Gal. 5:1) but this freedom is not to indulge the sinful nature (Gal. 5:13; 1 Pet 2:16).

(EMAIL) ...Why do people think that Christ is coming to a wicked, dirty bride? They think the will just automatically change after they die. Does not Luke 16:19-31 show otherwise? It is very disturbing to us too that people could think sin committed after getting born again will not defile and/or put to spiritual death a person who was previously saved (Luke 15:24,32; James 5:19,20; Rom. 8:13; etc.). Because of such teachings MULTITUDES of church people are on the road to hell, but don’t know it. (The devil’s people are good deceivers.) It is great to know you can see this serious error. Hopefully you are contending against that counterfeit grace message as often as possible. (We have tracts that might help you with this.)
As the days ahead continue to get darker and darker we need to be fully aware that enduring to the end is a SALVATION issue and nothing less (Mt. 10:22; Heb. 3:14; Rev. 2:10,11; etc.).

(EMAIL) I live in Ireland and listened to your contribution on [radio] tonight. It made a lot of sense and I think you were brilliant with the way you made your points. However, I was surprised that none of the other contributors on the program did understand or made sense of the points you made. This is very troubling given that Ireland claims to be 90% Catholics or even more. I really find it very difficult to come to terms with that. Nevertheless, thumbs up for your excellent contribution.

Thanks for the kind words. Part of the problem is the heavy Catholic population and occult influence in your country. It is difficult to be presented evidence that shows what you believe and do is dangerously wrong, but when it comes to Biblical issues people better listen for their SOUL’S sake. (EMAIL) While Samson was committing acts of fornication, we know he was not saved. In Judges 16:20 the Bible says that the Lord had departed from him. The OSAS preachers claim all he lost at this time was, like David, the joy of his salvation, we know better. Do you think the Scriptures teach when he prayed to the Lord in Judges 16:28 that he repented? The fact that Hebrews 11:32 mentions him as a believer weighs very heavy on the fact that he repented and died in saving faith.
Please send me your input on this subject. I commend you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, for contending for the faith and sound doctrine, and for exposing the false teaching of one saved always saved. Your brother in Christ,

It is highly possible that Samson repented at Judges 16:28 or maybe it was before. Regardless, we know no sexually immoral person will escape damnation, even if he was once used by God mightily. NOTE: Samson left the whole issue of dying in the hands of God and did NOT commit suicide, as some eternal security people say to justify self-murder.

(EMAIL) A person such as John Edwards who claims to be a medium and hear from the dead is dangerous. I watched his show (once) and know as a born-again Christian and follower of Christ that this man is not hearing from the dead. As I was watching, I knew that the people in the audience who came to him were blind to the truth. Most just wanted to hear from someone they loved and were gone. One woman lost her 15 year old son to cancer and he “spoke” thru Mr. Edwards. There are thousands of people who go to this man, desperate to hear from a loved one who has passed away. What concerns me is the of people who flock to this man, who blindly believe they will hear from a deceased loved one or friend. Also many of these people truly believe their passed loved one is in heaven. But according to the Bible we are not to try to talk to the dead. We are commanded not to do this. The scripture references you list certainly backs this up. I have lost loved ones but I have never gone to a medium to want to speak to them, the reason being of who I am in Christ and what the Bible says about this. After my father passed away and his estate was settled, my nephew and his wife purchased my dad’s house. His wife stated a few times that she heard my dad walking around in the house, that he is there. She and my nephew are not Christians or followers of Christ. I know what she is hearing is not my dad but something else. Maybe the house settling or maybe “something else”. It seems that it is very hard to reach those who are not followers of Christ with the truth. They just do not “get it” and look at us as “not all there”. But I do not hold back from speaking the truth to my loved ones because the time is short. The opportunity to reach the lost is while they are alive.
I also recall many years ago my mother having a ouija board and it seemed innocent and “fun” to play. But when I came to Christ Jesus things changed. I “remembered” that ouija board and realized it was dangerous and must be removed and destroyed. So I went to my parents house and did just that, smashed it to pieces. So to answer someone who thinks ouija boards don’t work, on the contrary they do but with a price to pay if you continue on this road.

Since we do not watch TV, believing it is the GREATEST tool of the devil overall at this point, we didn’t know who John Edwards was until we did a little checking. Yes, you are right. He is spiritually dangerous and not from God. The problem is, there are MANY “psychics” like him who are also dangerous, but few seem to know it or say anything about it. Anything connected with Spiritism is condemned by God. See Deut. 18:9-12.
Ouija boards should be burnt following the example found in Acts 19:19. GOD BLESS YOU. Remember 1 John 2:24-26.

(EMAIL) I read you emails online and it is frightening how you are opposed and hated by those who call themselves Christians because you follow the Bible. Our church is small but teaches pure living. I guess if we teach purity we couldn’t expect to be a big church as mega churches seem to be the ‘people pleasing’ churches. We belong to an independent church and our pastor does not believe OSAS is Biblical. He has discussed this with other pastors in our town but he said no matter what verses he points out they just don’t see anything but OSAS as being true ....

(EMAIL) Please tell me that even though I gave my heart to Jesus at age 16 and am 53 now, that thru all of my walk with the lord I must confess has been a struggle. I always ask for forgiveness and I sincerely mean it, but time and time again I still suffer from depression, bulemia anxiety, anger and lustful thoughts etc. Believe me I hate what I do, but at times when I do them I think I am only human and I can’t be perfect, so I give in. Also have an overwhelming fear that I am just like king Saul whom the Lord would not answer him, because I am always so hard on myself and I want to believe that he will never leave me nor forsake me, but as I read you statement online, I feel totally, hopelessly lost!
Please respond to my e-mail and let me know if you think Charles Stanley and all whom I have high regard for by the way. I do not have to be in perfect agreement with all that he beleives, but I beleive with all my heart that he loves the Lord with all his heart and that his ministry is sincere....

If you were saved at age 16 or not is not the issue. The real issue is: are you NOW, at this time, pure in heart? In other words, do you presently have a saving faith?
When a person gets truly saved, he becomes a new creation. His sin addictions are broken as we read in John 8:32-36; Rom. 6:22; etc. Has this ever happened to you? If not, you are like millions of other church people who were never saved. To get saved you must turn from sins—all of them—and place a submissive faith/trust in Jesus for your salvation. He must by your King, first love and your chief boss. Is he? Please answer that question for yourself.
Christians have the Holy Spirit within and can, therefore, walk holy. They can resist the devil and crucify the flesh. You CAN do all of this too. You MUST get very serious about this. Please stop watching TV and spend that quality time in the New Testament reading and memorizing Scripture. In a very short time period you will notice a blessed change.
