(EMAIL) I love your book on the Believer\'s Conditional Security. Having earned the Th.M. from DTS, I still was able to over the brainwashing concerning the eternal security issue. It\'s amazing what illuminiation and truth comes from memorizing Scripture, rather than being mezmorized by \"theologians\".

(RESPONSE) ... thank you for the kind words. You are absolutely correct. The truth and becoming aware of it will shine as one memorizes Scripture and acts upon the truth (Psa. 119:99,100). The difference you mentioned is not recognized by people who go to seminary though. In such an environment the students study books about the Bible rather than the Bible directly. That is how deception comes in and people aren't aware of it. Our book has helped many people in various ways. Sadly, the vast majority of people still don't even know it exists. Help us, if you can, make our books known while we still can.

GOD BLESS YOU. Heb. 3:14.

(EMAIL) You need to humble down to understand Catholic teaching. If people like you come up with your own versions of Bible interpretations and teaching, no wonder there are thousands of Tom, Dick , and Harry churches teaching his and her versions of wrong bible interpretations. Do not judge Catholics. Learn, explore and study the history and ask Holy spirit for understanding of catholic teachings. Seek you will receive!!

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

First, please know I was once a staunch Catholic. I KNOW what Catholicism teaches, especially since I have also read through Vatican Council II. To imply that we have something on our web site that is not accurate is a false charge against us! Get specific -- what is not factual?

Is Mary or Jesus your “life, sweetness and hope”? This is a salvation issue.

GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) I am relatively new to your site, though I’ve seen it in the past. I’m curious about I Corinthians where Paul says that no adulterer, etc, will have an inheritance in the kingdom of God . My main question is regarding the phrase “inheritance of the kingdom of God” – when recently teaching that to a Sunday school class, I used it to show that rewards (inheriting the kingdom, or authority in Christ’s kingdom) are not given to all believers, only those who continue to walk with the Lord after believing. Your take seems to be that inheriting the kingdom = eternal salvation. Is that correct? If so, are there any other passages which you would consider to teach rewards for believers, or do you teach rewards for believers at all? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Coheir with you,

(RESPONSE) Hopefully this will help you http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/inheritkog.htm

GOD BLESS YOU.

(EMAIL) I just read your eternal security article. Briefly, you made no allowances for the work that God does in a man when he becomes a Christian. There are gobs and gobs of Scripture that point to man being a new creation and that once he comes to Christ, God by his power will never let him go.

Yes, he will still sin, but he is always being worked on my [sic] the Holy Spirit. David is a prime example of this. He was a no better than a mafia boss. He slept with another man’s wife, got her pregnant, had this man killed and by God’\’s power he repented. It doesn’t get any worse or any better than that. Where sin abounds, grace abounds all the more!

Do you know nothing of grace? It pains me to see someone with the burden that you carry.

(RESPONSE) The issue isn’t if God works on a new creation or not. The issue is: Can a righteous person die spiritually? The answer is YES with NO QUESTION http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/spiritualdeath.htm

GOD BLESS YOU. Heb. 3:14.

(EMAIL) I\’m having a real struggle with this saved or not saved topic, and whether Christians are forgiven or not! I have a personal take in this because my Christian wife has abandoned our marriage, and continues to stand as a believer in every aspect of her life, except honoring our marriage and family. Though she hasn\’t committed adultery yet, she is \“on the lookout\” for a new exciting love mate, as God will guide her to find. I desperately try to warn her of entering into an adulterous remarriage or relationship without biblical grounds, but her comment is \“if I remarry and realize that I have committed adultery or I\’m living in an adulterous union, God will forgive me and then just carry on with the relationship and make it the best marriage I can!

\“Adultery is no less forgivable than any other sin\”.

\“God is always ready and willing to forgive any sin\”

\“God will forgive seven times seventy sins\”

\“There is NO unforgivable sin except blasphemy\”

I look forward to any comments.

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name.

It seems that your wife has been grossly deceived about various issues: divorce and remarriage, how to get forgiven from sin, and downplays the seriousness of sin that leads to spiritual death. Your wife and multitudes of others are victims of the rampant popular false teachings of our day and probably the doctrine of eternal security too. That teaching has led to untold broken homes, suicides and criminal acts. People that believe in eternal security also seem to think that forgiveness of sins after getting “born again” comes merely by asking for it. They seem oblivious to the fact that the same person must be willing to turn away from the wickedness (REPENT) and turn to serve God (as the Prodigal when he got forgiven). Also, for people to say, “There is NO unforgivable sin except blasphemy of the Holy Spirit” is to confuse the issue. Many will go to hell that never committed that sin. ADULTERY can clearly send one to hell (1 Cor. 6:9,10; Eph. 5:5-7; Gal. 5:19-23; Rev. 21:8).

The Bible does NOT teach eternal security. We believe that we are saved by grace (Eph. 2:8,9) but we can fall from grace (Gal. 5:2-4). We are justified by faith (Rom. 5:1) but our faith can become shipwrecked (1 Tim. 1:19,20) and cease to exist (Lk. 8:13; Rom. 11:19-23). We are not under the law (Rom. 6:14,15) but if you live according to the sinful nature you will die (Rom. 8:13). Paul taught against legalism (Gal. 5:3,4) but he also taught that no immoral, impure or greedy person has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God (Eph. 5:5-7). We are not saved by works (Eph. 2:8,9) but to reap eternal life and not destruction you must sow to please the Spirit and not the sinful nature (Gal. 6:8,9). God is faithful to us (1 Jn. 1:9; 1 Cor. 10:13) but we must be faithful to him to the very end of our lives to escape the lake of fire or second death (Rev. 2:10,11). God surely loves us (Jn. 3:16; Mk. 10:21; Rom. 8:35-39) but those who inherit the kingdom of God love God (Jam 2:5; 1 Cor. 2:9) and to love God means to obey his commands (Jn. 14:15; 1 Jn. 5:3). We have freedom in Christ (Gal. 5:1) but this freedom is not to indulge the sinful nature (Gal. 5:13; 1 Pet 2:16).

Please consider getting our 801 page book refuting eternal security entitled, “The Believer’s Conditional Security.” There is MUCH in it that can help you better understand this salvation related subject.

Remember Gal. 6:8,9 is a SALVATION passage not a rewards passage. GOD BLESS YOU.
