(EMAIL) Thank you so much for you loving response to those claiming to be born again Catholics. I am one who makes such a claim and I would like the opportunity to discuss your points with you. Bishop Fulton Sheen made this statement “there are not 100 people who hate the Catholic Church, but there are untold millions who hate what they believe she is.”

It is right to hate falsehood and to love God above all else. Many of the claims you make about the Catholic Church are not correct. They are not Church teaching and they are not believed by faithful Catholics.

Again, there are so many issues to speak about that I think it would be great to be able to do it by phone or even in person.

(RESPONSE) Greetings in Jesus’ name. How impressive is it for you to profess to be a “born again” Catholic? According to Catholicism, that only means you were water baptized as an infant! There is a language barrier to some degree when you communicate like that. Many Christians could be deceived into thinking you viewed getting “born again”in a Biblical way when you don’t.

It would be better to just describe yourself as a Catholic, who has been taught that your infant baptism was when you were “born again” and became a child of God, without repenting or placing faith in Jesus.

We have heard that quote from Fulton Sheen before. He was sadly mistaken. I was a Catholic who tried hard to stay a Catholic. I didn’t want to believe I was deceived and accepted doctrines that would lead me to hell. My time in the Catholic Bible convinced me Catholicism was filled with fables and myths, especially after finding salvation in a way different from how I was taught.

Please know we do NOT hate Catholics, we love them. They are the victims—NOT the root problem. The system of Catholicism with its false plan of salvation and idolatrous practices is the problem. They have woven a complicated system with their add-on Traditions over the years.

How you can state we have misrepresented Catholicism is slanderous to us and laughable to a knowledgeable Catholic. We have accurately represented the system you are trying to defend. Depending on how hard you close your eyes to the Biblical evidence and how much Biblical evidence you have come in contact with along with how much you love truth, will determine if you change your doctrines and get Biblically “born again” or not.

PLEASE, PLEASE for your own soul’s sake, read through the New Testament and change accordingly, before it is eternally too late. Your SOUL is in the greatest danger.

(EMAIL) I must confess to you I thought Ray Comfort was the best evangelist in the world...until I found out he was a Soundly Saved...OSAS teacher...He is very likable and from what ______ has said...His ministry is a multi-million Dollar Business...I live about 25 minuets from his ministry and I have visited there and it is true...his business is booming with Stores in many other countries as well...I also had EOM send a packet of your ministry CD’S and samples of your tracts to Kirk Cameron...I feel if we can influence Kirk with the truth then maybe we can turn Ray too...so if your ministry gets an angry letter or phone call from Kirk then please let Him know that it was me just trying to show him the truth. Kirk has been sucked into Ray’s ministry just like most of us were...and thanks to you you have exposed Ray and all his false teachings... I just want to say thanks for being such a good student of the scriptures...you have and will continue to save many people from these False Teachings from Hell... Kirk is the one that really made Ray so well known...please pray for the packet you sent to Mr.Cameron that he will see the truth and repent and stop promoting this false teaching and actively expose it as it is ...a false teaching...and if Ray won’t repent then I pray that Kirk will make it clear to others that he no longer supports Ray’s ministry...They have their names together on most of the stuff that is being sold in stores worldwide so there is a lot of money at stake...I have bought a copy machine and have been copying your two CD’S you sent me and giving them out as much as possible...so please be in prayer for me. Also thanks for the weekly emails...I look forward to reading them and learning from you...please stay in touch...

I have no doubt you are not alone about viewing Ray Comfort too highly. The shocking truth is we have pointed out to people, who say they reject eternal security, these things about Comfort but they continue to promote him and his “do you think you are a good person?”, “false converts” etc. messages. Of course, by promoting Ray Comfort one also promotes eternal security. They can’t seem to notice that though or care!

Thank you for the kind words and ministry suggestions. Your ideas may work but are unattainable at this time because of lack of funds. It costs big bucks to do those things. Since we are more interested in truth and souls, then in building a large ministry, we have made MANY enemies by speaking the truth in love. On the other hand, we also have many that like our holiness-and-endurance-for-salvation message, but do not send even one penny. The economy being bad has not helped any either. We need rich people who are willing to part with big money to make a difference. Eternal security is a worldwide problem, yet few even know we are alive! That HERESY has “spread like gangrene.” It takes money to let people know we have answers. May God help us reach people. MULTITUDES are going to hell over this doctrine.

(EMAIL) Dave Hunt /TA McMahon still have not renounced OSAS. The current 12/08 Berean Call Q and A (Newsletter) claims the man in 1 Cor 5 never lost his salvation.

I’m not surprised that Hunt and McMahon have not changed. It would cost them their ministry and MUCH money to do so. Truth is not the issue for many, especially after they have made a stand for the wrong doctrine. It takes HUMILITY to change after such. While Hunt did change for the good regarding his stand on Catholicism, he remains a HERESY teacher regarding eternal security. He is sending people to hell with such teachings. Hence, he needs to be openly exposed and refuted.

NOTE: To argue that the man of 1 Cor. 5:1-5 was a Christian in sexual sin PROVES that doctrine is a license for immorality. That person was committing sin that even pagans didn’t commit (1 Cor. 5:1), yet the once saved always saved teachers declare him to be a Christian! Shocking but true.

(EMAIL) Hi, Are you saying that if someone blasphemies the Holy Spirit than even if they repent and desperately wants God and wants to be forgiven they can never be no matter what? Somehow that doesn’t make sense, to be hopeless. Having a clear conscience is very difficult for me because I have obsessive compulsive disorder and sometimes I wonder if I sin constantly. Also, do you only need to be baptized once or many times since you would go from being saved to unsaved every time you sin to the extent that your unsaved?

P.S. I’m not sure if it’s a good idea to have a bunch of pictures of the devil on your web site.

Eternal sin or blasphemy against the Holy Spirit occurs when a person says Jesus had a demon and by the power of the devil performed his miracles (Mk. 3:22-30). That sin cannot be forgiven, according to Jesus.

If a Christian loses his salvation he does NOT have to be water baptized again. There is no record of such among those who lost their salvation and returned to spiritual life (Luke 15:24,32; Rom. 11:19-23; James 5:19,20).

Certainly, no sane and rational person would think the devil looks like any cartoon picture. Those pictures make a very powerful point because of a picture. Do not let your church tradition rob you.

Stop trying to make an issue out of a non-issue! You are not spreading the message of the early Christians that will bring salvation. Instead you are causing divisions and problems over nothing. Furthermore, you have NO BIBLICAL EVIDENCE for this key doctrine of yours. NONE, yet it seems to be your all-important issue. You have been grossly deceived. Remember the New Testament was written in Greek and the transliteration of the Messiah’s name in the Bible is “Jesus” when using the English alphabet.

(EMAIL) I just read your excellent article titled “The Never Saved Argument...” I still have some confusion about this. I understand that there is such a thing as “backsliding” and that idea is biblical. I also understand from your writings that there is no “eternal security” in SIN. But do you recognize DEGREES of SIN?

Is only the kind of sin you describe as “wickedness” and “evildoers” “those who do not do what is right in the present tense”

...They say that deep states of meditation open one to the demonic and that the demonic will continue to represent itself as an angel of light or something good, but it is really substituting the pantheiism and panentheism for the one true God.

I know that once saved always saved is not taught in the bible, but I also know that there is something called” backsliding and that that terms seems to indicate, forgive the Roman Catholic reference, mortal sin versus venial sin. Thank you in advance for answering my question.

Thanks for the kind words. YES, there are different degrees of sin. All sins are not the same in their effect on our souls. Some sins are greater than others (Jn. 19:11). One type is eternal (Mk. 3:29), while others are not. Another type of sin is uniquely against our bodies, while other sins are outside our bodies (1 Cor. 6:18). 1 Jn. 5:16 declares there is a sin that does not lead to death while there is a sin that leads to death. Sins such as worry (Phil. 4:6), unthankfulness (Col. 2:7, 3:15; Lk. 17:11-18) and not being completely humble and gentle (Eph. 4:2) are not included in any of the lists of sins that will send people to the lake of fire, even if they were once saved. However, other sins certainly will send any person to hell if they die unrepentant, even a person who was once saved. (See 1 Cor. 6:9,10; Rev. 21:8; Gal. 5:19-21; Eph. 5:5,6; Jude 7; Rev. 22:15; etc.).

I am not sure if I understand your question:

A person is identified in the Bible by their faith in Jesus or lack of it. Sometimes the latter will be called evildoers, wicked, etc. Their spiritual identity changes with repentance, as is apparent with the dying thief, who repented and his identity changed from “thief” and he was able to go to “Paradise” with the Lord (Lk. 23).

ALL eternal security teachers are DANGEROUS, with no exception. What that woman teaches should be trashed. If she can’t see the Scriptures teaching the obvious conditional security, which is taught from cover to cover, then one must question her abilities in other areas too.

The Bible does teach “meditation,” but it is meditating in Scripture. See Psa. 1. Meditating in Scripture is VERY POWERFUL AND IMPORTANT as is memorizing Scripture. All Christians should do both. I would reject ALL other forms of meditation.

Regarding “backsliding,” yes it certainly happens. That is basic fact. When a Christian backslides into sin or sins that “lead to death” he will die spiritually. Others sins can lead up to “sins that lead to death.” Not all who backslide return. Solomon is an example as is Judas. Furthermore, not all backsliding allows one to be disciplined preceding repentance. Adam and Eve died spiritually instantly after they sinned one time. Ananias and Sapphira never had a chance to repent after meeting with Peter. Uzzah never had a chance to repent either!

Regardless what the Catholic church teaches about sin or anything else, the Bible teaches there are sins that lead to death and sins that do not lead to death (1 John 5:16,17). We go by the Bible. The eternal security people do NOT.

(EMAIL) Hi, I love to read about the Mark of the Beast. It is true with the technology today, a Chip fits the mark, but I still do have some questions and I wish you can help.

Revelation 13:16-18 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a MARK in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the MARK, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Rev. 13:16-18

Let’s say the Mark is the CHIP…………but as I read this verse, even if someone do not have the mark, they will still be able to buy or sale as long as they have the name or the number of the name of the Beast..

So my question is: What is the name of the Beast and How to recognize the number of his name?
