eternity Eternity has synonyms which help us better understand how long it is. They include: infinity, endlessness, timelessness, age without end, forever, everlasting, enduring, continuous as in a circle, incessant, relentless, uninterrupted, unceasing, unremitting, round-the-clock, nonstop, constant, etc. In other words, we all face a very long eternity beyond the grave. Most are not ready to enter eternity and will spend all that time in an unquenchable and raging fire prepared for the devil and his angels (Mt. 3:12; Heb. 10:27 cf. Mt. 25:41). They will miss the paradise kingdom where love, joy, purity and peace with continue on forever in the presence of God Himself (Lk. 23:43; Isa. 35:10; Rev. 21:4,27; Psa. 37:11; Rom. 2:7). Remember this: Your most precious possession is not your house, car, job, marriage, bank account, health, reputation, etc. It is your eternal soul. Find out how to prepare for eternity.
