It really was impossible to understand why God would save some and damn others, and yet hold the damned accountable. My beliefs most surely slandered God. I never believed that one could live like hell and attain heaven, but rather that God's hand was on the saved as the author and finisher of their faith.
They would love him and others, believe in Jesus' sacrificial atoning death on the cross of Calvary as payment for their sins, heed his warnings, obey his will for their lives while looking for the blessed hope. They couldn't be lost because they were ordained to eternal life. Well I do not believe like this anymore, it is not fair to God to see him in this way.
