Point people to Jesus for salvation
The Bible focuses in upon Jesus as the sole object of our obedient faith for salvation. One is to have all 100% of his obedient-trust in the Lord Jesus for his salvation.
One of the precious truths of God is the unsurpassable importance of Jesus’ blood.
There is not a more important subject to study than salvation. In fact, there is not even a close second among all the many topics that have been taught over the centuries. Though the term salvation can be used in different ways, here it refers to deliverance from damnation in the fires of hell. This is the only way this important term will be used in this teaching.
Multitudes in our day, who profess to be Christians, only have the faith of demons. They profess Jesus as the Son of God, but live in sin.
The Jehovah’s Witnesses have been wrongly taught by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society in many areas, especially about salvation. Among the various errors they spread about salvation, their denial of an instant and present-tense salvation for the believer in Christ is easily refuted. What confuses this issue is the other tenses in salvation too.
Can your words (which include your teachings) mortally affect your salvation?
Jesus tells us about an actual dialogue that occurred on the other side of the grave between a person who died and went to the fiery side of hades and Abraham himself who was in comfort on the other side of an impassable gulf.
He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly (but he was unsaved).
What you are about to read are some very sobering facts about words, as God sees them. Now is the time to adjust and make vital changes where changes are needed.
There are many death blows to eternal security found in Scripture. At the very core of this non-Christian doctrine is the concept that a person once saved (a righteous person) will not die spiritually over his sin. The clarity of the Scriptures to the contrary is overwhelming from Genesis through Revelation ...
There are multitudes of people that correctly know their eternal destiny beyond the grave depends on what they do with the message of the Bible, but somehow they have no concept of various Scriptures related to salvation itself.
Among people who call themselves Bible-believing, born again Christians there are primarily two different salvation messages (gospels) that are proclaimed.
Drunkenness (and/or alcoholism) is a very serious problem in our society. The statistics associated with drinking alcohol are both alarming and disturbing, especially from a Christian point of view.
When a person becomes a true Christian he enters a brand new life. In a moment of time he passes from death to life, from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to the power of God. Many things start to happen to him that may be surprising.
To have peace with God should be our chief pursuit.
Some people who say they reject eternal security teach a Christian can engage in occasional acts of adultery, drunkenness, theft, etc. and remain saved. Is there Biblical evidence for such?
The one and only precious Lord Jesus who conquered death, the grave and defeated the devil taught about living forever and never dying on at least four different occasions. He gave us his word on how we can have this sought-after experience.
The key to understanding why the Lord Jesus answered as he did to the rich, young ruler, who asked about inheriting eternal life, is found in Luke’s gospel.
Brace yourself for the painful truth about the horrible ordeal the Lord of Glory endured, according to Scripture.
Almighty God wants certain things from all of us who have been washed in the blood of the Lamb and been forgiven. This article looks at just four very important things that God wants from all Christians now that we are His children.
It seems that the only Scripture a Bible-believer knows about good works is that we are not saved by them. This article should be very surprising as it reveals Biblical truths about this important subject.
According to today's version of grace, obedience to God is optional and, therefore, not even a priority for many. But is that the real truth or a lie from the devil, who is trying to damn your soul to Hell through false teachings, which come from the devil's servants?
Sooner or later, death will overtake every person. Do you know what the Bible says regarding this and how to prepare? This is a message that every person should read and pass on to their family and friends.
This article gives Scriptures that are seldom mentioned in our apostate day regarding this.
Throughout the Bible, one can read of man having the rule over fish, birds, living creatures and people, but then we come to other verses which show that sins can rule over people.

People in the Old Testament were not justified by the law as some might think. We can be assured of this because no one will be declared righteous in God's sight by observing the law (Rom. 3:20). Since this is true, how then were they saved? Surprisingly, they received imputed righteousness just like we do today under the new covenant!
One of the most commonly presented arguments given in defense of the teaching of "once saved always saved" goes like this: "When one gets saved, he receives eternal life. If that life could be lost, it wouldn't be eternal! Therefore, once a person is saved, he is always saved." This argument has both truth and error mixed into it. Certainly, at the point of salvation, one receives eternal life, but does this necessitate or guarantee the possession of that life eternally?
The term grace has been misused and abused for so long that many have no idea what the truth is about grace and especially how it applies to the Christian life. Certainly, it is a great shock for people to learn that there are multiple musts under grace connected with salvation itself, as well as other areas of the Christian life.
The physical suffering of Jesus began in the Garden of Gethsemane on the evening before His crucifixion. While the disciples slept, the Gospel of Luke records that the LORD "being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground."
Several years ago I became interested in the physical aspects of the passion, or suffering, of Jesus Christ when I read an account of the crucifixion in Jim Bishop's book, The Day Christ Died. I suddenly realized that I had taken the crucifixion more or less for granted all these years -- that I had grown callous to its horror by a too-easy familiarity with the grim details. It finally occurred to me that, as a physician, I did not even know the actual immediate cause of Christ's death.Return to top
