Gail Riplinger gets our Skull and Crossbones Award for her teachings and all the harm she has caused for others. She has preyed upon thousands of trusting-but-gullible people over the years with her strange New Age conspiracy theories connected with and taught through non-KJV Bibles. Her research is faulty and often clearly deceptive. At times, it seems to be outright and intentional misinformation. Her standard used to condemn reputable translations, such as the NASB, ESV and NIV, also condemns the KJV but she and her followers remain unaware or unconcerned of this double standard.
As bad as the division in the body of Christ is that was created through Riplinger, and others like her, the inability to comprehend the Holy Scriptures generated by this King James Version Only (KJVO) message is even worse. That is a major part of the overall problem with KJVO. Here is one example:
O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged. Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels. Now for a recompense in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged. (2 Cor 6:11-13, KJV)
There are many reasons in our day to pass by the KJV in favor of a reputable translation that is understandable, but KJVO people, urged on by Gail Riplinger, will have none of it! Shockingly, Gail Riplinger has actually taught that reading the KJV is easier than the modern translations, but offers no backing for such a ludicrous statement. Such is typical for Gail.
Somehow the hundreds of archaic words in the KJV, which most of the KJV users can’t even pronounce much less know their meanings, must not matter to them. Maybe they think the Bible should not be understood. But regardless, this KJVO campaign needs to come to a screeching halt for the sake of the body of Christ and souls.
Furthermore, there are no Scriptures in any version which can be used for support of this 1611 English KJVO movement. There is Scripture for contending against the counterfeit grace message of eternal security (Jude 3,4), but none for the 1611 KJVO. Shockingly, even the translators of the 1611 KJV recommended their readers to read other versions of the Bible! They were not KJVO, but even this doesn’t matter.
Perhaps if some of Gail Riplinger’s supporters knew of her multiple divorces, they would not be so adamant in spreading her faulty materials and/or providing platforms for her to spread such strange information. See documentation here

The KJVO movement has some people thinking they should not even listen to a teaching (verbal or in print) that is not based on the KJV. To many diehards the KJV issue is more important than fighting the false gospel of eternal security and obeying the urgent command of Jude 3,4! The KJVO movement is not of God and Gail Riplinger has helped to spread it to the eternal detriment of multitudes.
