God's View of Wicked People Is Very Stirring

The Scriptures you are about to read clearly reveal how God spiritually views all wicked people, that is, the unsaved people. To know the facts will prevent you from ever envying any unsaved person regardless who he or she is and what their possessions may be! Furthermore, if you are a real Christian, the following data about wicked people will also help you rejoice in your salvation because once you were in the same terrible conditions which they are still in! Please ponder the following carefully:

PROOF That Wicked People Do Have A Hope Of Changing Their Identity

Wicked People Described In Scripture

"I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me" (Acts 26:17,18).
"For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light" (Eph. 5:8)
"Remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world" (Eph. 2:12)
"At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another" (Titus 3:3).
"There is no peace, says my God, "for the wicked" (Isa. 57:21)
"Good understanding wins favor, but the way of the unfaithful is hard" (Prov. 13:15).
"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd" (Mat 9:36).
"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly" (Rom 5:6).
"Many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord's unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in him" (Psa. 32:10).
"In the paths of the wicked lie thorns and snares, but he who guards his soul stays far from them" (Prov. 22:5).
"And that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will" (2 Tim. 2:26).
"The evil deeds of a wicked man ensnare him; the cords of his sin hold him fast" (Prov. 5:22).
"The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God" (2 Cor. 4:4).
"Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him" (Jn. 3:36).
"For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves" (Col. 1:13).
"Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior" (Col. 1:21).
"For they themselves report what kind of reception you gave us. They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God" (1 Thess. 1:9).
"We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death. Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him" (1 Jn. 3:14,15).
"We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one" (1 Jn. 5:19).
"This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother" (1 Jn. 3:10).
"For when we were controlled by the sinful nature, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in our bodies, so that we bore fruit for death" (Rom. 7:5).
"For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do--living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry" (1 Pet. 4:3).
"Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived" (Col. 3:5-7).
"But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger" (Rom. 2:8).
"For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers" (1 Pet. 1:18).
"As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance" (1 Pet. 1:14).
"He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters" (Matt. 12:30).
"There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day" (Jn. 12:48).
"But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted" (Rom. 6:17).
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. (1 Cor. 6:9-11, NASB)
"For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!" (Rom. 5:10).

Summary of God's View of Wicked People

In summary, Biblically unsaved people are:
  • with their spiritual eyes closed,
  • darkness,
  • in spiritual darkness,
  • under the power of Satan,
  • separated from Christ,
  • without hope,
  • without God in this world,
  • foolish,
  • disobedient,
  • deceived,
  • enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures,
  • living in malice and envy,
  • being hated and hating others,
  • without peace with God,
  • on a hard way,
  • spiritually harrassed and helpless,
  • spiritually powerless,
  • with many woes,
  • on a path with thorns and snares,
  • in the trap of the devil,
  • ensnared by the cords of his sin,
  • with minds blinded to the gospel,
  • with the wrath of God remaining on them,
  • under the dominion of darkness,
  • alienated from God,
  • idolaters,
  • spiritually dead,
  • under the control of the evil one,
  • children of the devil,
  • controlled by the sinful nature,
  • living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry,
  • sexually immoral,
  • impure,
  • lustful,
  • with evil desires,
  • greedy,
  • self-seeking,
  • rejecting the truth,
  • following evil,
  • living an empty way of life,
  • conforming to evil desires,
  • against Christ,
  • rejectors of Christ,
  • slaves to sin,
  • homosexuals,
  • thieves,
  • drunkards,
  • slanderers,
  • swindlers,
  • wicked,
  • God's enemies
All Biblically unsaved people are also likened unto goats, foolish builders and chaff (Matt. 25:32; 7:26,27; 3:12). They definitely will not inherit the kingdom of God, that is, unless they repent and stay with God. But there is more you need to know about the future of the unsaved:

"But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death" (Rev. 21:8).
"The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Matt. 13:41,42).
According to the Bible, the eternal future of all who die in a spiritually unsaved condition will be weeping and gnashing of teeth in the "fiery furnace," also known as "the fiery lake of burning sulfur." They will be thrown there by the angels of God.

There Is Hope -- A "Hope"

All of mankind needs a Savior to deliver and save us from this horrible destiny because of our sins. We cannot save ourselves. Jesus is our only hope. He's the only way to the Father. Unless we put God's Word into practice (Lk. 8:21), we will be eternally lost. The true plan of salvation which will bring a Hell-bound, Hell-deserving, child of the devil into a paradise environment for eternity, if it is acted upon, is as follows:

The True Plan Of Salvation

The true plan of salvation is concisely stated in the Bible as repentance towards God and faith in Christ Jesus (Acts 20:21). We are to produce fruit in keeping with repentance (Matt. 3:8) and prove our repentance by our deeds (Acts 26:20). To "repent" means to turn from your evil ways (Matt. 12:41 cf. Jonah 3:10). Every tree that does not bring forth good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire (Matt. 3:10; 7:19). The Lord Jesus also taught the road to life is "hard" and only a "few" will find it (Matt. 7:13,14, NKJV). The Lord declared there that there are ONLY 2 gates, 2 roads, 2 groups of people and 2 eternal destinies. So don't follow the crowd, since they are on their way to eternal fire, even though they might not know it.

Moreover, many get saved, but afterwards fall away (Lk. 8:13; Jn. 6:66; 1 Tim. 1:19; etc.). In other words, after initial salvation we must endure to the "end" to enter the kingdom of God and escape the lake of fire (Matt. 10:22; Heb. 3:14; Rev. 2:10,11). Eternal life comes to the repentant the moment such believe on Jesus for salvation (Jn. 3:16; 6:47; 1 Jn. 5:12,13), but there is another important aspect of eternal life that many are totally unaware of in our day because of a different false teaching which is commonly called "once saved, always saved." According to true, Biblical, grace teaching, eternal life is also a HOPE (Titus 3:7), yet to be REAPED (Gal. 6:8,9) in the AGE TO COME (Mk. 10:30) for only the ones who PERSIST IN DOING GOOD (Rom. 2:7) and DO NOT GROW WEARY AND GIVE UP (Gal. 6:9).

Also, remember this: If a saved person sows to please his sinful nature he'll die spiritually (Rom. 8:13; Gal. 6:8,9). The prodigal is a clear example of this (Lk. 15:24,32). The end result of sin is spiritual death. DO NOT BE DECEIVED by the "once saved, always saved" teachers (James 1:14-16). We must continue to believe (TRUST) on Jesus for our soul's salvation to enter the Kingdom of God. Jesus described his "sheep" as his "followers" (John 10:27). James stated that faith without works is "dead" (James 2:17).

In conclusion, the Jesus of our present hour is not a baby that is laying in a manger or an infant that needs to be held in his mother's arms. He is an adult who successfully destroyed the devil's work (1 John 3:8). He is the resurrected "Lord of glory" (1 Cor. 2:8), before whom every knee will bow and every tongue confess that he is Lord (Phil. 2:9-11). Jesus has the ONLY name in which salvation is found (Acts 4:12), is the ONLY mediator between God and man (1 Tim. 2:5) and is the judge of the living and the dead (Acts 10:42; 2 Tim. 4:1; 1 Pet. 4:5). We are advised in Scripture to go directly to Him for forgiveness and to TRUST in Him alone for our soul's salvation. He is the only spiritual hope for unsaved people.
