Witnessing To Mormons Mormons Latter Day Saints LDS

All The Answers You Need When Witnessing To Mormons

mormonism joseph smith jr founder false prophet The Latter Day Saints (or Mormons) claim Mormonism is the one true church. They call themselves the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and further claim it alone is the Church, similar to how Catholicism claim to be the Church. Mormons profess to be true Christians and followers of Jesus Christ as they simultaneously embrace the LDS doctrines set forth by their founder, Book of Mormon is NOT another testament of Jesus Christ Joseph Smith Jr. (1805-1844), whom they consider to be a prophet. In reality, however, Joseph Smith, Jr. was a false prophet, who preached "another gospel" (Gal. 1:8,9) and was also condemned by the Book of Mormon for his polygamy! Joseph Smith, Jr. also translated a scroll with Egyptian characters on it and said it was the Book of Abraham (written by the same Abraham in Genesis)! That too was falsefied in recent years, but remains part of the Pearl of Great Price! Sadly, Mormons believe the truth of God has been rediscovered and restored by Joseph Smith since the Great Apostasy. In 1827, they believe Joseph Smith Jr. found (at the Hill Cumorah in New York), with the help of the angel Moroni, the golden tablets translated into the Book of Mormon - named after Mormon, who originally wrote it down.

Witnessing To Mormons Mormon Missionaries are sincere but deceived To the Latter Day Saints, Joseph Smith's messages and especially the contents of the Book of Mormon are true and most precious. Remember that when witnessing to Mormons. Latter Day Saints claim it is in the Book of Mormon that one can learn the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ to have salvation and eternal life, but these terms are not understood in a Biblical sense! In fact, they are far from it! false prophets mormonismFurthermore, LDS beliefs state that getting eternal life is associated with believing in ("receiving") the Book of Mormon, while rejecting it brings condemnation:
And those who receive it [the Book of Mormon, v.8] in faith, and work righteousness, shall receive a crown of eternal life; But those who harden their hearts in unbelief, and reject it, it shall turn to their own condemnation (Doctrine and Covenants 20:14,15).
But remember, the Book of Mormon condemns the founder of Mormonism, Joseph Smith, Jr.! Furthermore, Mormonism is unlike any other religion. They teach all Christian creeds are all an abomination. By teaching that way, they exclude themselves from being similar to real Christians!

Latter Day Saints Beliefs

Some of the LDS very strange beliefs, besides having various similarities to Catholicism, but denying the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus, are:
Witnessing To Mormons God was once a man and man can become God just like he did.
joseph Smith salvation Witnessing To Mormons There are many Gods.
Witnessing To Mormons God the Father (who has a body of flesh and bones) is a separate God from Jesus and the Holy Spirit, who are also Gods. They are 3 Gods, not 1. Hence, the Latter Day Saints are polytheistic and not monotheistic, as Christians are!
Witnessing To Mormons God the Mother and God the Father had sex in heaven and produced millions of spirit children, where they pre-existed before being born.
book of mormon joseph smith jr Witnessing To Mormons A faithful Mormon will get a resurrected body of flesh, have eternal sex and be a God one day too just like God did.
Witnessing To Mormons Joseph Smith, Jr. received the Aaronic priesthood from John the Baptist and the Melchizedek priesthood under the hands of Peter, James and John!
Witnessing To Mormons There is NO salvation without accepting Joseph Smith. (See image to the right.)
Witnessing To MormonsJesus is the spirit brother of Lucifer and a polygamist. The Mormon Jesus was married to Mary, Martha and others, who he fathered children with!
Witnessing To Mormons Adam was Michael the Archangel before Eden. Adam also was the one who originally received the 10 Commandments, NOT Moses.
Witnessing To Mormons There are three heavens, with the Celestial kingdom being the highest. This one is where God and the most faithful Mormons who followed his commands reside. The Terrestrial kingdom is where non-Mormons will reside. The Telestial kingdom, also in heaven, is for the ones who followed their carnal nature and lived in sin!
Witnessing To Mormons Only apostate Mormons, the devil and his angels go to hell fire.
Witnessing To Mormons Things centering around marriage are the most important things you can ever do in this life.
Witnessing To Mormons The garden of Eden, from where Adam and Eve fell, is located in Independence, Missouri! That too is impossible since two of the rivers that watered Eden were the Tigris and Euphrates (Gen. 2:8-15) and they are located in the Middle East (by the Persian Gulf), not North America.
Witnessing To Mormons One of their articles of faith is: We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly. (In other words, to them when the Bible contradicts LDS doctrine, it wasn't translated correctly!) Mormons only selectively believe in the Bible.
Witnessing To Mormons One must pay their tithe or receive the greater condemnation. (See Image below.)

joseph smith jr polygamy Besides the glaring contradiction of the Mormon celestrial marriage to the Bible (Mt. 22:29,30), another serious contradiction to God's word is about God himself: lds beliefs

"Tell them this: 'These gods, who did not make the heavens and the earth, will perish from the earth and from under the heavens.'" (Jer 10:11)
Mormons hope to be a God someday themselves, but their doctrine is again a major contradiction to God's eternal truth, for all gods who didn't make the heavens and the earth will perish! So are the Latter Day Saints real Christians? They certainly have beautiful temples, but does that mean they are Christians? The evidence to the contrary is clear and overwhelming. Witnessing to Mormons by proving Joseph Smith is a false prophet and the Book of Mormon is NOT Scripture is easier than many may think. Examine the evidence for yourself and make your own conclusions. Be assured, their view of salvation and eternal life do not mean the same as set forth in the Bible!Moroni of mormonism Mormons have a different Jesus, gospel and Holy Spirit than Christians do. Moreover, Christians exalt the Bible as final authority, but the Latter Day Saints go instead by the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, The Pearl of Great Price and KJV Bible, which contradict each other! Do NOT be deceived by Mormonism! Also, be assured there is NO need to pray about the Book of Mormon!

Sadly, Mormons have religious zeal, but not based on knowledge (Romans 10:2). Mormon Temple Mormons remain lost and bound to their sin addictions -- without salvation and eternal life offered to all through sincere and humble repentance to God and a submissive faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 20:21; 26:20 cf. 1 John 5:12). Like so many church goers, Mormons know nothing about the new creation in Christ, a life free from sin's slavery and the very real dangers of hell fire awaiting them! Their view of the Christian life is totally unlike the one revealed in the Bible. Mormons also have a hollow and baseless hope to become a God themselves. Scripture states the overcomers will always be sons:

He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my SON. (Rev 21:7)

Latter-Day Saints Beliefs
About Lucifer and Redemption

lds beliefs Joseph Smith Jr. had a wild imagination to come up with the following story about redemption. In the Mormon Scriptures, Pearl of Great Price, we read:
And I, the Lord God, spake unto Moses, saying: That Satan, whom thou hast commanded in the name of mine Only Begotten, is the same which was from the beginning, and he came before me, saying - Behold, here am I, send me, I will be thy son, and I will redeem all mankind, that one soul shall not be lost, and surely I will do it; wherefore give me thine honor. But, behold, my Beloved Son, which was my Beloved and Chosen from the beginning, said unto me - Father, thy will be done, and the glory be thine forever. Wherefore, because that Satan rebelled against me, and sought to destroy the agency of man, which I, the Lord God, had given him, and also, that I should give unto him mine own power; by the power of mind Only Begotten, I caused that he should be cast down; And he became Satan, yea, even the devil, the father of all lies, to deceive and to blind men, and to lead them captive at his will, even as many as would not hearken unto my voice. (Moses 4:1-4)
When witnessing to Mormons remember, Lucifer to them is the spirit brother of Jesus who presented a plan of redemption to become the Savior of the world, but it was rejected by the Father and he became the devil!
