The Other Side of Calvinism
By Laurence Vance EXPOSED

Laurence Vance calls himself a Christian libertarian! In different terms that means Laurence Vance is a grace changer, that is, one who changes the grace of God into a license to sin! Laurence Vance gets the Skull and Crossbones Award for his demonic grace of God teachings. The following statements all come from Laurence Vance's book, "The Other Side of Calvinism" (1994 edition):

Lordship salvation is heresy (p. 338); a past moment of faith makes a person just as secure as one of the members of the Trinity (p. 325); you can deny Christ,
but he won't deny you (p. 348); an unrepentant prostitute might be saved based on a past decision for Christ (p. 336); regeneration is an inalterable change from spiritual death (p. 346).
Unfortunately, this heretical book by Laurence Vance has some non-Calvinists confused about what he teaches regarding the believer's security. Laurence Vance is far from sound. The gospel promoted by Laurence Vance is a form of godliness, which promotes loose living and a twisted tainted image of a Christian. Laurence Vance has made no contribution to the Christian community with his book promoting once saved always saved. The truth is:

Whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven. (Mat 10:33)

We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first. (Heb 3:14)

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death. (Rev 21:8)

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. (1 Cor. 6:9-11, NASB)

Before the rise of antichrist, people will turn away from truth and turn to doctrinal mythology (2 Tim. 4:3,4). Perhaps that explains how the doctrines of Laurence Vance can be so popular.
