(Bible Question) I have given my heart to JESUS about 10 years ago. I believe that he died on the cross for my sins and that he was ressurected 3 days later. i have tried to make him the lord of my life. i sometimes preach in care centers and i constantly witness to everyone. My question is this, i still fall into the sin of lying and lust with masterbation. I have been adicted to both for about 30 years. I have tried so hard and have almost elimated both. Does what you say mean that i am not saved?

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus’ name. It appears you have never been set free from your sin addictions, which occurs at the point of salvation. When one contacts the blood of Christ he becomes a new creation in Christ and is set free from the controlling power of sin.

While it is true that Christians believe Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again, it is also true that demons believe the same thing yet are unsaved. Besides being set free from sin addictions, as an evidence of saving grace, the following are excellent for someone like you:

We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. (1 John 2:3,4)

Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord,” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. (Mat 7:21)

When you give God your entire heart (100%) in sincere repentance you’ll know true salvation. Do you know what repentance is? What about the real plan of salvation? Remember also that once saved always saved is a lie. A real present-tense Christian is a present tense follower of Jesus. There is no such thing as a Christian adulterer or Christian liar. When the devil tempts you, place your hand over a hot stove and crucify the flesh!

To help wash the filth out of your mind, and establish pure wholesome thinking, read at least 4 chapters of the Bible daily and change accordingly. Memorize Bible verses, especially relevant ones for your situation. Shut the TV off and all secular music. Stay away from places of temptation and people who may stumble you. Do you really understand the Christian life? Your SOUL is your most valuable possession. GUARD IT! This is for eternity. Hell is real.

(Second Response) Thank you so much. I will do as you say. Please pray for me.

(Bible Question) Bless you and your ministry in Jesus Christ our Lord's name. Most believe that the Jewish Temple must first be built before the end. Could the temple referred to, be the believers. That the Antichrist spirit will infiltrate with a false gospel, perhaps like the OSAS lie that has caught the majority of believers off guard. Paul said the following verses;

Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 2 Thess. 2:4.

Know you not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 1 Cor. 3:16.

We know that when Jesus died the curtain in the temple was split down the middle. The Holy Spirit left the temporary place and returned on the day Pentecost to indwell the body of Christ. So maybe the abomination of desolation is the great falling away or something having to do with the spiritual temple of God. In Christ,

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus’ name. Thanks for the kind words and may God bless you too. The passage in question says:

Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God. (2 Th 2:3,4)

It is impossible for the temple to refer to believers since it is impossible for a real literal man (which is who the Antichrist is) to set himself up in the heart of anyone, especially a Christian. The Christian has Jesus as his King, Lord, Boss, etc., who is sitting on the throne of his heart.

If you adopt a figurative interpretation of Scripture any weird conclusion can result. Stick to a literal interpretation, when you can, check the context and compare Scripture with Scripture. I am a former pre-trib rapture proponent, who is now a solid post tribulation rapture man. If we are the last generation, we will face the Antichrist BEFORE the rapture! Many of the pre-trib rapture people will not be ready for that. Awesome.

The abomination that causes desolation will occur after the daily sacrifice is abolished (which hasn’t started yet):

From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. (Dan. 12:11)

Also remember the counterfeit grace of eternal security has been around since, at least, Jude’s day (Jude 3,4) and even before. It is not new. The devil has used that lie from Gen. 3:4 to snare the righteous, if possible. God bless you.

(Bible Question) If Protestants and Catholics both believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God...then why do Catholics need a Pope or Priest to tell them what it

means. I realize they believe that reading the Bible is up to man's interpretation therefore they need a Pope who is also infallible and he will then tell them what it means......but how did this mindset come about? How can a person who wants to know the Lord and grow in his word ever grow when they do not read the bible...but either solely listen to the Pope or read other books about the Bible? Maybe this is a little harsh...but to me, from just what I have read, it seems like Catholicism is a cult, I mean, everything about it seems cultish. Why cannot man understand what they are doing is not scriptural? What are your thoughts? Thank you

(Bible Answer) Catholicism has the Bible plus what they call Sacred Tradition as the two authorities. Since the Bible is an anti-Catholic book, if Catholicism is going to keep the people in their religious system, they must try to change the obvious problems one will read in the Bible into conformity to their unscriptural beliefs.

For a Catholic, or anyone in a false religion, to learn truth they must come into contact with the truth. The Bible is the only source of the truth they need and it is final authority (2 Tim. 3:16,17). When a person gets saved he will have a hunger for reading the Bible and learning God’s precious truths.

Did you know the Catholic Church has placed anathemas on all who do not believe their strange unique doctrines? Their beliefs are very different from being Biblical yet want others to think they are Biblically sound. As a former Catholic I know from first-hand experience. Shockingly, some have even returned to Catholicism after leaving it! The days are very dark. Remember Heb. 3:14.

(Bible Question) Can a Christian that commits suicide go to heaven?

(Bible Answer) Does a murderer have eternal life abiding in him? Do murderers go to the lake of fire?

Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him. (1 John 3:15)

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death. (Rev 21:8)

Does one sin of murder make a person a bible-defined murderer?

If a man strikes someone with an iron object so that he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall be put to death. (Num 35:16)

Do not be deceived. There is no eternal security. Don’t do it!

(Bible Question) A pentecotals church here in latin America says to wear makeup is very sinful, they quote some verses form the Old Testament. And they say it is an abomination for women to wear troursers. Is that correct?

(Bible Answer) Yes, we are not surprised. Other groups do too! They usually stress outward appearance and how one dresses making that the issue instead of heart purity (living pure before the Lord). Some will not look favorably on a man with facial hair, others will not look favorably on a man for not having facial hair. Some wear long sleeves of a certain color and insist it must be the right color. Some forbid wearing certain colors entirely!

Once after handing a salvation tract to an elderly woman, who was dressed a certain way, she stated she was, “holiness.” I asked, “What do you mean holiness?” She responded, “We don’t believe a woman can wear pants.” Shocking! That was her false understanding of holiness! I’ve run into others like her. The woman said it says in Deuteronomy that a woman is not to wear pants. Being acquainted with that Scripture, I told her it does not say pants and recommended her to read it again. The Scripture is:

A woman must not wear men's clothing, nor a man wear women's clothing, for the LORD your God detests anyone who does this. (Deut. 22:5)

[Both men and women wear pants. Deut. 22:5 is against being a transvestite.] Many are like that so-called holiness woman—deceived! They think that is being holy. Sad. The congregation you refer to may have insight into the importance of how one dresses, but their emphasis is warped. Both men and women are to dress modestly in non-expensive clothes. Many lust (commit adultery) because the way another is dressed (Mt. 5:28,29). Scanty or form-fitting clothes are not fitting for a Christian anywhere, even in hot climates. Hope that helps. Stick to the Bible. God bless you.

(Bible Question) I’ve wandered from GODS truth. I am addicted to pornography. I blame myself . Does God ever stop loving people because of their sin.

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus’ name. You are asking the wrong question. Rather than asking if God stops loving a person because of his sin, you should ask if mental ADULTERY will drag your soul to hell. The answer is YES, that is, pornography will send you (or anyone) to the flames of hell. Have you read our materials, which can help you [get free]? GOD BLESS YOU. Heb. 3:14 & Mt. 5:28,29.

(Comment) Dear Friends, Jesus said, speaking about His sheep, “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall (never perish), neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand .” John 10:28 Friends, why will the sheep never perish ? Because their salvation in not in their own keeping! Their salvation is in Christ keeping!

John Newton told of a dream he had, there were three men on a ship. One had a very valuable ring . The man with the ring was told by one of the other two, that the ring was really not all that valuable . And he kept talking till the man with the ring just threw the ring over board in the ocean ! And at once the third man jumped immediately into the water and got the ring from the ocean! That third man was Jesus Christ . He told the man that threw the ring over board, that He was now going to keep the ring for him ! That left to himself, satan would be able to talk him out of his salvation ! But now that the salvation of God’s people is in Christ keeping, no one would be able to pluck them out of God’s hand! Friend, I can’t lose something that is not in my own keeping to lose !

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus’ name. You have referred to the following passage, so let’s take a close look at it:

John 10:27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and THEY FOLLOW ME. John 10:28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. John 10:29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.

Please note that the ones that will “never perish” or get “snatched” from God’s hand, according to Jesus’ teaching, are only the ones that FOLLOW HIM. Also, the Greek tense of the word “follow” in v. 27 is a CONTINUOUS TENSE. Hence, this verse does NOT allow for one to stray into wickedness and maintain their salvation as it has been misued to teach. Please remember this.

Dreams are NOT authoritative. Christians are to go by the Scriptures (2 Tim. 3:16,17). [Newton’s dream is F-A-R from Scriptural:

... do not share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure. (1 Tim 5:22)

... keep yourselves from idols. (1 John 5:21)

I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. (Rev 3:11)

By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. (1 Cor 15:2)

We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first. (Heb 3:14)]

We believe that we are saved by grace (Eph. 2:8,9) but we can fall from grace (Gal. 5:2-4). We are justified by faith (Rom. 5:1) but our faith can become shipwrecked (1 Tim. 1:19,20) and cease to exist (Lk. 8:13; Rom. 11:19-23). We are not under the law (Rom. 6:14,15) but if you live according to the sinful nature you will die (Rom. 8:13). Paul taught against legalism (Gal. 5:3,4) but he also taught that no immoral, impure or greedy person has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God (Eph. 5:5-7). We are not saved by works (Eph. 2:8,9) but to reap eternal life and not destruction you must sow to please the Spirit and not the sinful nature (Gal. 6:8,9). God is faithful to us (1 Jn. 1:9; 1 Cor. 10:13) but we must be faithful to him to the very end of our lives to escape the lake of fire or second death (Rev. 2:10,11). God surely loves us (Jn. 3:16; Mk. 10:21; Rom. 8:35-39) but those who inherit the kingdom of God love God (Jam 2:5; 1 Cor. 2:9) and to love God means to obey his commands (Jn. 14:15; 1 Jn. 5:3). We have freedom in Christ (Gal. 5:1) but this freedom is not to indulge the sinful nature (Gal. 5:13; 1 Pet 2:16).

Please consider getting our 801 page book refuting eternal security entitled, “The Believer’s Conditional Security.” There is MUCH in it that can help you better understand this salvation related subject. That book is the most exhaustive and comprehensive refutation to eternal security ever written. Remember Gal. 6:8,9 is a SALVATION passage not a rewards passage. GOD BLESS YOU.

(Bible Question) ...I differ on once saved always saved. Jesus said no one could pluck one of His out of His hand. You say oh yes they can. The bible says the saved are sealed by The Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. You say not so? You see John says it all. Even through they walked with us, they were not of us, because if they were of us, they would have remained with us. There are no ex-christians. People get displaced in it, but when the time comes they roll out. True Christians will never leave the faith. God is not going to save someone He knows will leave ten years down the road. Just like they prayed amidst they never got it. They thought they were saved. Once Saved always Saved. Jesus is faithful. He is not flaky like people who like the idea that God is a indian giver like to believe. ( No offence to Indians, I have no clue where that term came from but could not think of a better term to express that thought. ). It seems to me you feel like the Blood is not good enough if you believe one can lose his salvation. Maybe not you personly but generally speaking of those who hold to this doctrine. They feel it is not just the blood but we need to work our way in heaven also. If thats the case then lets face it, you're saying you are a co-redeemer with jesus. Ha Ha, just like the Catholic Mary....

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus’ name. The seal of the Holy Spirit does NOT imply eternal security. Some true Christians do turn away from Jesus and lose their salvation. Apostasy occurs! There is no Scripture which says what you wrote:

God is not going to save someone He knows will leave ten years down the road.

The Bible teaches the exact opposite, since various ones were once saved and later turned away. For example, the prodigal son lost his salvation and, after repentance, became alive again (Lk. 15:24) from his lost condition. There are others too, who lost their salvation. Some never returned (John 6:66; Solomon, Saul; etc.), while others did (David, Peter, etc.). Just because Jesus is faithful, doesn’t mean his followers are faithful to him! THINK. God does take back one’s share in the holy city, under certain conditions (Rev. 22:19)! Jesus blood is vital, but that doesn’t mean a follower who becomes a backslider will enter God’s kingdom because he was once saved. Read the New Testament with an open mind and repent. Remember Gal. 6:8,9 is a salvation passage. See also Heb. 3:14. You should read our evangelical books refuting eternal security.
