The Mythical god (False god) Of Eternal Security

As strange as this might sound to some, the god associated with the eternal security doctrine is a mythical god - one which is not only non-existent, but is often the exact opposite of the God of the Bible! The vital truth is, the true and living God of the Bible is to be feared by Christians because he can yet have our souls cast into hell and has sent various types of people to hell, who were previously saved. That, however, is not the mythical god (false god) of eternal security. Let me prove these things to you from the Holy Scriptures:

1. Psa. 125:5 says:

Those who turn to crooked ways the LORD will banish with the evildoers.

The God of the Bible will banish to hell people who turn to crooked ways. The people who turn to crooked ways are people who were previously not in crooked ways and were therefore following the straight ways of the LORD. Hence, if saved people afterwards turn away, they will go to hell with evildoers (unless they repent and come back to God). The mythical god of eternal security could never send such people to hell.

2. The false god of once saved always saved proclaimed by Bob George and other heretics like Hank Hanegraaff is not revealed in Rom. 11:19-22! Just the opposite is shown about the true God:

You will say then, "Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in." Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off.

Christians are carefully advised to be afraid of God because as God cut off the natural olive branches from the olive tree (Israel), God will also cut them off if they get into unbelief.

If that happens, then spiritual life would cease to exist the same as life ceases to exist for a branch if it is cut off from the tree. Hence, Christians need to fear. The god of eternal security could never terminate someone's spiritual life like that and is not the God taught in that passage.

3. In Mt. 25:28-30, Jesus himself also taught against the likes of the mythical god of eternal security taught by Carter Conlon and Charles Stanley. NOTE what the Lord said about the servant who was given one talent and did nothing with it. He said:

Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Jesus himself would have that talent he gave the man taken away from him and have that same fruitless person thrown into the same place of weeping and gnashing of teeth where all evildoers will go. That place is the fiery furnace (Mt. 13:41,42). Again, such is NOT the god of eternal security.

4. In Rev. 22:19, we read what John wrote about God's actions. He stated this:

And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

NOTE: The Lord's apostles taught God would take away anyone's share in the tree of life and the holy city, if they sinned in that manner. That's the real God of the Bible, but definitely not the mythical god of eternal security.

The Mythical god of Eternal Security
Would NEVER Do The Following!

5. In John 15:1-6 we read:

I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.

Jesus taught that God the father will cut off every branch from the vine that bears no fruit. Such branches will then wither or die and get thrown into the fire. The God of the Bible, therefore, will send people to hell who were previously in Christ, but were not fruitful. The false god of eternal security could never do that. Such is the false and mythical god of Bruce Wilkinson, who mangles John 15 to fit into his no one can snatch them out of my hand distortion for the vilest backsliders!

Little Known Truths About God (Audio Sermon)

The Mythical Jesus of Eternal Security
Would NEVER Spew Anyone Out Of His Body!

6. In Rev. 3:14-16 the Lord Jesus spoke the following words to people who had been previously saved. He said:

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

Jesus gave that hell warning to people who were already in his body. He said their continued lukewarmness would cause them to be expelled from the body of Christ. Such would be impossible for the false god of eternal security, that is, the once saved always saved Charles Stanley imaginary god.

7. In 2 Chron. 15:2 we read:

The LORD is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.

God will forsake us if we forsake him. That is not the god of eternal security, which would never forsake one under any condition.

8. Mt. 10:33 says:

But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.

Jesus said he himself would personally disown anyone who disowns him. That was spoken to the disciples as they were being sent forth on missions and warned they would be persecuted for doing the will of God. For Jesus to disown a disciple means that person would no longer belong to Christ and therefore would no longer be saved. The false god of eternal security would never do that.

9. Mt. 18:34,35 says:

In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed. This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.

In other words, Jesus taught the disciples, if they don't forgive others who sin against them, God would have them tortured until they would pay back a debt they could never pay. In other words, they would be tortured forever for not forgiving others. The false mythological god of eternal security would never damn someone over unforgiveness.

10. Paul wrote that the true God of the Bible can not be mocked. Notice why he said that:

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (Gal 6:7-9)

People unwittingly try to mock God when they think they will reap eternal life after sowing to please their sinful natures. The eternal security proponents believe that exact thing. The God of the Bible will not let one reap eternal life who has been sowing to please his sinful nature. Such is not and can not be the mythical, non-existent god of eternal security, who would let one reap eternal life who has been sowing to please his sinful nature. If that isn't enough evidence, then also consider these final two points. The false god of eternal security:

can not see your sins since you have gotten saved and

● has even forgiven them before they have been committed.

In contrast, Revelation chapters 2 and 3 show Jesus could see their sins and those sins were not automatically forgiven.

11. The Apostle Paul warned those sealed with the Holy Spirit that they could believe in VAIN and Christ could become of NO VALUE to them at all over doctrine since they have been born again:
By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. (1 Cor 15:2)
Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. (Gal 5:2-4)
That is certainly NOT the mythical god of Joseph Prince or CARM, who will always distort the parable of the sower meaning and mangle the difference between wheat and tares just like Hal Lindsey does!

The Imaginary and Mythical god of Eternal Security In Review

The mythical god of once saved always saved cannot do the following, while the real God of the Bible will:

banish to hell people who turn to crooked ways.

not spare Christians who become unbelieving, that is, he will have them removed from the life-sustaining tree and they will die spiritually.

take back his talent he gave to fruitless servants and have the same thrown into hell where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth and where all evildoers will go.

take away anyone's share in the tree of life and the holy city, if they sin in that certain way.

will cut off every branch from the vine that bears no fruit and have it then thrown into the fire.

expel from the body of Christ those who continue in lukewarmness.

forsake you, if you forsake him.

disown you if you disown him.

have you tortured forever for not forgiving others who sin against you.

have you reap destruction and not eternal life for sowing to please the sinful nature.

Because God can do all of these things to people who were previously saved, the Lord's disciples are given the following type of hell warning:

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Mat 10:28)

NOTE: Jesus said God can destroy our SOUL in hell, which would be impossible if eternal security was true. A similar warning to Mt. 10:28 is found in Luke 12:4,5. It says:

I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you fear him.

That warning too was also given directly to those who had been saved. We Christians are to fear God because he can throw our souls into hell. That type of God is not compatible with the doctrine of eternal security, which is another gospel.

Once Saved Always Saved people, therefore, do not believe in the real God of the Bible. The false god they present is also, at times, the exact opposite of the real God. Furthermore, they also teach against God's ways and their mythical god will let man mock him.
