(Bible Question) Good day I am coming from the Reformed/Calvinistic Church and for the last 8 Years I am a born again _______, living in South Africa. Having being exposed through books, TBN television, different denominations in Christianity ,and then above all the internet, I am becoming confuses lately. Not confused about my salvation in Jesus Christ and what I really believe about the Pre-Millennial and A millennial doctrines. But the conflicting teachers/preachers who mix the doctrines. Like John McArthur and others. I've read your article on J mcA and found it excellent. But as I like to be analystic and to have everything in it's correct place, I like it when a teacher's doctrine is clear in the one or the other. Although it is silly to throw out the baby with the bath water, like to refuse to read some of J McA's books which sounds sound. As English is my second language, I cannot make out where you stand with the Pre-Millennial doctrine. I see on your web articles that your MP3 talk about the Anitchrist, but i am hard of hearing and not able to hear it. Kindly inform me what your doctrine proclaims about the Pre-Mil and the A-mil doctrines. Thank you for your time and kindness to answer me. Blessed regards.
(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. The PRE-millennial view is that Jesus will return for the saints before the 1,000 year reign of Christ on earth (millennium). Of that camp there are 3 positions—PRE-tribulation, MID-tribulation and POST-tribulation, depending on when the adherents think the rapture will occur relative to the tribulation. The correct Biblical doctrine is post tribulation.
The Amillennial view is, there is no literal 1,000 year reign of Christ on earth with perfect peace. In fact, such actually teach Christ is now reigning on earth through his church—strange, weird and far from truth!
Do NOT get off on a tangent. The emphasis should be on HOLY living and winning souls. NOTE: All 5 points of the doctrines of grace (Calvinism) are demonic! The most dangerous of them is once saved always saved which they tend to call the perseverance of the saints. Consequently, you must endure to the end for salvation and a real Christian can die spiritually.
God bless you. Heb. 3:14.
_________________(Bible Question) I am trying to persuade a couple of ________ brothers that God regards some sins as more serious than others. (John 19:11) They believe that all sins are equally grievous in God's sight, Can you point me to the scriptures that will help them see that God makes distinctions. For example, sin that leads to death vs. sin that does not lead to death according I John. Thank you.
(Bible Answer) It is great to read you are trying to help others understand some of those details about sin. Tell your friends: All sins are not the same in their effect on our souls. Some sins are greater than others (Jn. 19:11). One type is eternal (Mk. 3:29), while others are not. Another type of sin is uniquely against our bodies, while other sins are outside our bodies (1 Cor. 6:18). 1 Jn. 5:16 declares there is a sin that does not lead to death while there is a sin that leads to death. Sins such as worry (Phil. 4:6), unthankfulness (Col. 2:7, 3:15; Lk. 17:11-18) and not being completely humble and gentle (Eph. 4:2) are not included in any of the lists of sins that will send people to the lake of fire, even if they were once saved. However, other sins certainly will send any person to hell if they die unrepentant, even a person who was once saved. (See 1 Cor. 6:9,10; Rev. 21:8; Gal. 5:19-21; Eph. 5:5,6; Jude 7; Rev. 22:15; etc.).
___________________(Bible Question) With regard to your comment on Dr. Norman Geisler, would you please care to explain the following Scriptural verses? 11For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15If any man's work shall be burned, HE SHALL SUFFER LOSS: but HE HIMSELF SHALL BE SAVED; yet so as by fire. Also, is there not a “sin unto death” (1 John 5:16), which pertains to God destroying the “flesh” of an individual for that individual's own good?
(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. You just referred to the saved as by fire argument used by the grace changers for eternal security. Please click saved so as by fire for the details. NOTE: nowhere in 1 Cor. 3 does it state WHY/HOW the rewards were lost! Read our answer there carefully.
Please click here to read about the sin unto death. We have many other related topics available for you at eternal security. Our evangelical books can also help you with this salvation related issue. Ponder Gal. 6:8,9. God bless you.
__________________(Bible Question from the Ukraine) I was saved about 9yrs ago but backslide some months later. I've realized my sinful state and want 2 return. I've been praying about this but my prayers remain unanswered. What should I do?
(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. Is your repentance the same as the prodigal who lost his salvation (Lk. 15:24) and returned to God to serve him? If you have sincerely repented, it might take a while for the joy of salvation to return. If you have returned to God don't let the devil torture your mind. Don't go by your feelings. Go by the word of God. Stick to the Bible like glue!
______________________(Bible Question) If all people will not be saved what does it mean 'the savior of the world?' Now in Adam all sinned and in Jesus all shall be made righteous- what...does this mean? It is Him who chose us not us! But how can Adam the first man be able to cause us all to sin and the second man Jesus who is from heaven be unable to impute righteous to all of us? I've read Gary's articles (Gary Amirault) and they are scriptural. I personally i am not misled because i compare everything with scriptures and see it is so. Peace!
(Bible Answer) Your questions don't really seem like real questions. You seem more interested in trying to correct than listen. Do you really want an answer contrary to your doctrines? Your mind seems closed to the evidence that there is no Universalism, according to the Bible. Hopefully, for your sake, I'm wrong about you not wanting to listen. Here are your answers:
All unsaved people are called by various terms, including the word “world.” While it is true that Jesus died for all people who ever lived (1 John 2:2; etc.) that doesn't mean that all will get in Christ! To benefit by what Jesus has done, one must believe on him to the point of commitment. That is another way of saying repent and extend a submissive faith in Jesus. The true plan of salvation has conditions attached to it. God has given man free will to chose a life of self-denial and holy living which will bring persecutions here and now or to follow sin and its pleasures for a short season (Heb. 11:25) before going to hell! This life is a test to see what we do with God's truth. Though nice sounding, Universalism is NOT good, but a deadly snare to one's SOUL because it is not true. Gary Amirault is a false teacher, who deserves our Skull and Crossbones Award. He is stumbling many. You are not aware of the new creation or how to find peace with God. Please change for your own good.
______________________(Bible Question translated from Spanish) Honestly, how can we say that Jesús hated his own mother? What kind of God fearing son would do that? Besides this, He would be violatings the fourth commandment. Had Mary been uncaring about Jesus then God the father is to be blamed for having chosen any woman, and if Mary was a sinner and not perfect then Jesús also inheritated such condition as well, because Jesus was real man and God. And therefore Jesus was a sinner as his parents. Jesus among that sexist society dignified the woman, as did his mother. It is true that with the text from Joshua all woman are blessed for God, but how many of these woman are filled with grace? The same Elizabeth exalted the intervention of God through Mary... And she calls Him the mother of my Lord... And of she is the mother of God, what else than she being the mother of the Church, the True Church because Jesus stated very clearly: "You are Peter and I will edify my Church upon this rock and the forces of hell shall not prevaile" It is true the Catholic Church... (Ignasio de Antioquia, 1st Century) because Luther saw many errors he did not act within the Church, because to stray away from the Church that Jesus founded was much easier to just make a new Church from which thousand upon thousands of sects are depended upon with so many different believes... Please, let´s be more objective since we are to be held accounted for by God !!!!!!
(Bible Answer) First, you have grossly distorted our teachings! We have NEVER said, Jesus hated his own mother. So please don't tell others we teach that! What you have done is reason from your mind, apart from Scripture and logic, to your present wrong conclusions about Mary, etc. Mary is not sinless. It is Jesus who has never sinned (2 Cor. 5:21; etc.). All others have (Rom. 3:23), including her.
Your mind is on a fabricated, non-existing image of Mary. The Mary of Catholicism is NOT the Mary of the Bible. The real Mary is NOT the sinless, queen of heaven, co-redeemer with Jesus, our life, sweetness and hope, etc. You must read the New Testament and change accordingly. God's word will point you to JESUS, who you are to trust in 100% for salvation, which leaves 0% for Mary, being a Catholic, the sacraments, etc. You must turn from your sins and follow Jesus to have salvation.
Peter wrote 2 books of the bible and never mentioned Mary or referred to her! He is grossly different from Pope John Paul II, who was obsessed with Mary. Peter was not the first pope! Think! Read the Bible and change accordingly. Have you examined our Spanish Webite
____________________(Bible Question) mark of the beast – first off the devil doesnt have a rule book that he must fallow and also the bible is open to interpretation being that the devil has been one who misleads to reach his goals my idea of the mark of the beast cant be over looked and must be taken seriously, but lets take a look at what is in everybody's hand or pocket and now is being used as ID, currency, and tracking it knows were we are it contains a browser that has www and is held in most right hand and to ones head and the people i run this by will not even take a look because they are bonded/worship this small item and what do you have when you open this item a bar code under the battery you must look at when the text was wrote and that technology would be hard to describe , but as far as fitting i dont think this can be taken as stupid or crazy and even if my idea is right wow is going to give up the thing that makes live convenient ? nobody but me so far and not having a cell phone is more freedom than i have had please respond to me i would love to hear what a person in an organized religious setting has to say , but keep in mind that the devil is crafty and evil is evil because of ability to mislead the masses and to accomplish the goal of absolute power Thank you and please there are reasons why a person like myself has been enlightened by a power that hopes we can pull it together and unit as one no hate no pain but we are running out of time because they are coming soon
(Bible Answer) There can be no question that cell phones have affected the lives of the vast majority of people in our day and to a large degree are controlling them. However, to say the cell phone is the mark of the beast is too extreme and unscriptural. We can be sure your theory and interpretation is false because we can buy and sell without the cell phone. If the CP was the real mark of the beast, that would not be the case:He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. (Rev 13:16,17)
No one is forcing anyone to use a cell phone either! Also, I know of no person who is worshiping the CP. Have you read the plan of salvation?
_____________________(Bible Comment) Hi, I just want to encourage you. I've been at this Salvation for 40+ years. I want to tell you that the article "Plan of Salvation" is the very best I have ever ready anywhere. Well done. I will copy this to my computer, and share the link with others. Praise the Lord.
(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. THANK YOU for the encouragement and the time you took to write us. Did you know we have that article in tract form to be distributed as gospel literature when tract evangelizing? It costs 10 cents plus postage. Others have shared their approval of the plan of salvation too, but it still seems the all time favorite is our Heaven and Hell tract. It also costs 10 cents plus postage. Thanks again. GOD BLESS YOU. Rev. 21:4.
_____________________(Bible Question) greetings to you in the name of the Lord Jesus. I thank God for your ministry and for the sound doctrine that you teach. I have a question. A church I had been to,has emphasized that if I do not speak in tongues, I am not baptized with the holy spirit and I do not have the anointing.is it true that one has to speak in tongues,to proof that he or she has received the gift of the holy spirit.another thing they said that the bread for communion has to be only unleavened,is that so.please do let me know the answer from the word of god.god bless you.
(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. The church you are referring to is the United Pentecostal also called Apostolics or Jesus Only. STOP GOING THERE! They are filled with false doctrine. What you have heard about speaking in tongues from them is FALSE! Don't let them disturb your mind. It is better to use unleavened bread for communion, but can anyone get so dogmatic as to say God won't accept another way, especially in areas when that is not available or among the poor!
NOTE: One is saved at the point of a trusting-submitting faith in Jesus Christ. That occurs without water baptism and often with no other person around. The plan of salvation will explain more. One sure way to know when one is saved is the radical change which occurs at the point of the new birth. So, have you been changed by the power of God – set free from your sin addictions?
Please spend more time reading the New Testament and changing accordingly to what you read. Seek God through the Word. Please carefully read our message for new converts. GOD BLESS YOU.
