(Bible Question) Why is it bad to be Catholic? Why should not trust Mary if she represents the Church in Revelation 12? Jesus gave us Mary as Mother of the Church at the foot of the cross. When I say "beloved disciple, did not refer to John. Peter thought that John did not die but Jesus did not mean that. Why we should not trust in the sacraments if done in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit? If the sacraments were on behalf of Belzebu you would be right, but you are not.

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. Catholicism is not based on God's truth. Therefore, it is wrong and spiritually dangerous to be a Catholic. To be more exact, the message of salvation it spreads is false and has no power to bring about salvation. It is like telling others false directions on a road map to get to the desired destination, but MUCH WORSE.

Please know that the real Mary, the mother of Jesus, is NOT mentioned in Rev. 12. She is not the woman crowned with twelve stars. If you think Rev. 12 is Mary, then she sprouted eagle wings and flew off into the desert:

The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent's reach. (Rev 12:14)

Mary is also NOT the Mother of the Church, as you have been taught. She is NOT "our life, sweetness and hope" or our "refuge" or "the way to God" or "the mediatrix and dispenser of grace." The Mary taught in Catholicism evolved over the centuries and is a fabrication. She is VERY FAR from the real Mary of the Bible.

Just because the Catholic sacraments are in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, they are still not based on God's truth (the Bible). For example, NO person is born again at infant baptism. One gets born again when he repents and places a submissive faith in the Lord Jesus to follow and serve him. Not one infant was baptized in the Bible. That is because one must first be a believer (Bible-defined Christian) before that can correctly be administered. Please read over our other materials for Catholics. Remember, eternal life is in JESUS (1 John 5:12), not Mary, the Catholic church, sacraments, etc. You get to Jesus by going DIRECTLY TO HIM, as he invited people to come (Mt. 11:28; John 5:39,40; etc.). The Bible is final authority for the Christian (2 Tim. 3:16,17). GOD BLESS YOU.

(Bible Question) Hello from Spain, please excuse my bad English. I would like to ask you about my marriage. I was divorced when I was not a Christian and it was her decision. (I didn't want to be divorced and I wanted to try in our marriage.) Years later I knew another woman and she became my wife. When I became a Christian I thought about Jesus words and adultery. So, my wife and I stopped making love or anything about sex, we love each other but we are as friends now (but married). I was worried about being married but I was not a Christian "when I did", or being married and knowing the word of Jesus "now" about it. I am not sure which decision is right. Yes, we are married and she is my second wife but I ask to myself if it's good to be married even without sex to avoid adultery or not. Are we in adultery or not (without sex)? We have prayed these last 2 years to the Lord about it but we have no answers. But yes: I have been freed from my sins and I avoid sex or masturbation every day. Can you help us with your thoughts? Thanks

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. If I had an absolute clear understanding of this issue I would definitely answer you, but I do not fully understand it. We do, however, know for a certainty there are many so-called marriages which are not recognized in God's eyes. Hence, those couples are in adultery and therefore on the road to hell. The local churches are terrified to teach this way because a large percentage of the congregations are filled with divorced people!

It seems that as long as there is no sexual union, there could be no adultery, even if the marriage is not recognized by God. I don't know how there could be, but I'm not 100% sure since there is nothing in the Bible on such a subject.

The Scripture about sexual union is only for those who are really married in God's eyes. So again, it comes back around to that single issue. I'm very sorry for the pain you have suffered over this. You are NOT alone!!! Many over the years have contacted us over this same issue. Live holy and in light of eternity. NO sin or person is worth going to hell over. God bless you.

(Bible Questions) 1. So why is Jesus's mother Mary mentioned in the bible so many times? 2. Is it important that she was at Jesus's birth and death? 3. Is it important that the mother Mary devoted her life to Jesus? 4. Is it important that Mary obeyed God without question and ignoring cultural values, stigma, and the law of man? I'm a mother myself, I look to the bible and exemplary examples found there. It is my "guide to living", so please explain each question in turn....

(Bible Answers) Greetings in Jesus' name. The foundational problem is this: The Mary you have been taught about is NOT the same Mary of the Bible. The Catholic Mary has been fabricated and evolved over the years to where people are now thinking like you. Here are your answers: (1) Mary is not really mentioned often in the Bible. John the Baptist is mentioned more often. Jesus said he (John) was the greatest born of woman (Mt. 11:11). Jesus, therefore, taught John was "greater" than Mary. (2) All Mothers are there with their new born when they come out of the womb. Amen! Mary was at the cross when Jesus died, but so were others. For Mary to be there doesn't make her our "life, sweetness and hope," as dangerously declared in the rosary. JESUS is our life, sweetness, hope and much more. (3) What Scripture says she devoted her life to Jesus? When Jesus was 12 Mary forgot about bringing him along when she and Joseph and the rest of Mary's children returned home from Jerusalem. At a later point Mary thought Jesus was crazy! Did you know that? (4) The real Mary was an obedient and courageous person, but that doesn't mean she is the sinless, queen of heaven, dispenser of all graces, etc. Think. PLEASE read the New Testament FOR YOURSELF and change accordingly. Turn from your sins and place all 100% of your faith in JESUS for your soul's salvation or you will be damned.... Lk. 11:27,28. GOD BLESS YOU.

(RESPONSE BACK) Thanks for your information. Know that I do love Jesus Christ. I do devote my life to following his word. I do read both Old and New Testaments. My only hope with the "logic" you follow in your answer to (1) is that Jesus loves all of his children. Just as I love all of my children, I believe He loves us all and doesn't put one before the other. Additionally, I hope not men before women, and I especially believe a son, and The Son, would most certainly have placed His Own Mother on a pedestal. Next, you must certainly recognize the suffering a mother must feel when her child is gone before herself and in front of her eyes. Finally, I believe it was God's Perfect Plan to have Jesus go and identify Himself as a man before the Rabbis and before His parents. He left, she didn't leave Him. It was time for Him to learn to ask questions, so He could become The Great Teacher.

(BIBLE ANSWER again) Greetings in Jesus' name. How can you claim to Biblically love or devote yourself to Jesus? If you did, you could not be praying like pagans especially after Jesus said don't do that. Jesus commanded us not to pray like the pagans with repetitious prayers (Mt. 6:7,8). That is what the Rosary is, yet you associate yourself with a religious system that "recites" the Rosary which is said to be the epitome of the whole gospel! How can you read the New Testament, like you claim, and remain a Catholic? You must not know what the Catholic church teaches. The issue is not if Jesus loves us, but do we love Jesus. Jesus has NOT placed Mary on a pedestal, according to the Bible. Certainly you would think like that being a Catholic because that is how you were taught. How Mary felt as she saw Jesus dying has nothing to do with reality. Others suffered too watching their Life, Sweetness and Hope die on that cross. Mary is NOT co-redeemer with Jesus. Mary didn't know he stayed behind (Lk. 2:43). Hence, she tried to rebuke Jesus when they found him. Instead, Jesus REBUKED MARY:

When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, "Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you." "Why were you searching for me?" he asked. "Didn't you know I had to be in my Father's house?" (Luke 2:48,49) GOD BLESS YOU.

(Comment) Thank you four your article on eternal security and Judas, I got in the same debate last night. I could not believe that any Christian would say Judas was not saved. there were 8 of us and only my wife and myself believed that Judas fell by transgression. We are in an ______ church which says in there laws that they don't believe in eternal security. Yet we have leaders teaching that Lie.

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. THANK YOU for speaking the truth to others about Judas Iscariot. When one accepts the fact that he was once saved, then the intensity of our spiritual warfare becomes more apparent—which is good. Even he fell away after hearing the best teachings, seeing the best example and being specially empowered to heal, cast out demons, etc. Like Judas, Solomon is another person who shows how one can turn around after finding God. See Psa. 125:5. The churches are APOSTATE. There are very few that are sound. You are not alone. Please consider getting our 801 page book refuting eternal security entitled, The Believer's Conditional Security. There is MUCH in it that can help you better understand this salvation related subject. This book is the most exhaustive and comprehensive refutation to eternal security ever written. Among others, it refutes Dr Charles Stanley too! Please consider signing up for our weekly email teachings, updates, etc. Remember Gal. 6:8,9 is a SALVATION passage, not a rewards passage. GOD BLESS YOU.

______________

(Bible Question) Thanks so much for your website and the information you have made freely available. Your material has been of great help to me. I was first introduced to your material when a friend sent me a copy of your book, The Believer's Conditional Security. It put the final nails in the coffin of OSAS, as far as I was concerned, and good riddance. That doctrine is destroying the church and sending many people to Hell.

I have two questions for you: First, the church we're currently attending (a _____ church) is good in many ways, but they preach OSAS and pre-tribulationism, and I would like to do better for myself and my family. Given that you must have many contacts around the country and the world, I thought I would contact you and ask if you know of any solid churches in the _______________ area. I've searched online and found that the __________ are about as close to the truth as I can find, but they have plenty of problems of their own, mostly notably an unfortunate tendency toward ecumenicalism. The __________ is probably the next closest, but most of them are OSAS and pre-trib adherents, as least as far as I've seen. If you know of any good churches in my area, please do let me know. This is a growing burden on my heart.

Second, I'd appreciate your opinion on the following articles concerning baptism. This is an area where I am still undecided.... Sincerely,

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. That was great news to read about your change from the heresy of eternal security and how our book helped. Thank you for sharing it. We would all faint if we knew how many are in HELL now because of that doctrine. You need to get out of that church that teaches this heresy ASAP. For you to support that congregation by your presence and/or donations is to be partly responsible for the harm they are doing to SOULS. Try to help others out of this lie after you leave. Do NOT try to change the so-called "pastor" (really wolf), because it would cost him too much to turn to God. The Church of Christ is NOT the congregation for you to attend either! They believe in baptismal regeneration, which is DANGEROUS and FALSE. We are in a DEEP DARK APOSTASY at this time. You might never be able to find a sound church! Sorry. I know this is discouraging, but it is true. Try to find a few others who are serious about God, study with them and put into practice what you read. Please consider signing up for our internet church. Read this about water baptism. One gets forgiven upon repentance and faith in JESUS, then afterwards gets baptized by immersion. GOD BLESS YOU. Heb. 3:14.

(Comment) It is so unfortunate that we who profess Jesus as Saviour and Lord expel so much energy on accusing and attacking each other when we should be corporately storming the gates of hell. What would Jesus response be?

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. There are MANY wolves in sheep's clothing who are among the sheep. The sheep are in danger and need warned. Among other things we do this, besides feeding the sheep in this dark and apostate day. Jesus publicly warned of false teachers and rebuked them. They are dangerous. Once saved always saved is not a Christian teaching. The sooner people know this the better. Many are on the road to HELL thinking they are on the road to heaven over this satanic lie. The Lord Jesus is pleased with our obedience to expose and refute these "grace" distorters (Eph. 5:11; Jude 3,4). GOD BLESS YOU.

(Bible Question On Same Issue As Earlier) Please help me. I was a Christian only for six months, not rooted. I fell into sexual immorality and was angry at God when something terrible happened. I was deliberately sinning for two years because I was angry at God. I've read Hebrews, and I feel very little hope. I have read your backsliding article, but I am unsure if God rejects me. I know I am no longer saved. I am very young. I love God, I was just angry. Will He take me back? And if so, would it feel the same? Eagerly awaiting your response. Please help me.

(Second Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. WHY would you think that God won't take you back IF YOU SINCERELY REPENTED, as he did David, Peter, the prodigal, etc. We can't help if you are not going to accept the truth. Did you read this for new Christians? GOD BLESS YOU.

(Bible Question) I thank you for your response to my email. I just became aware that the Spirit of God is not with me and I can't get him to manifest. I know now that God chooses His elect. I had a false sense of salvation it seems all of my life But in regards to sin I lived in willful sin (drugs sex all the commandments broken (not loving my neighbor)). Now I am suffering I am __ yrs old and I am physically mentally (bipolar?) financially emotionally and spiritually bankrupt. I don't know if God shows everyone their lost condition (because I know many who are lost but think they are saved) but He has allowed me to know and experience the horror. I am living a nightmare every minute. Do you believe it is possible to be lost and have no way of recovering from it? This is how I feel, even thought I now hate all things evil and fight against sin I still am separated from God and it seems to be to no avail to pursue Him. I have had a lot of prayer but nothing has changed Please help it possible. Thank you I know Jesus is THE Lord and Messiah but I don't feel I can make Him my Lord because I know I am a sinner and only the Holy Spirit can cause one to be able to resist sin (God does not hear sinners)

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name....Unfortunately, you have been deceived and consequently [are] in much mental anguish. Please KNOW one is not chosen to salvation while another (such as you) is not! That is part of the HERESY of Calvinism. We have free will to follow the Lord Jesus or reject him. This applies both before and after initial salvation. You have NOT committed any sin or sins which cannot be forgiven [from your email]. Ponder Luke 15:11-32 and James 5:19,20 and you should be encouraged. You can get forgiven and will get forgiven, IF you repent and place your faith (trust) 100% in the Lord Jesus. Ponder these too: 2 Peter 3:9; 1 Tim. 2:4; etc. GOD BLESS YOU.

(Comment) I was reading your answers to a pretrib rapture and i am still trying to work my views out as far as being confident with one or the other so I appreciate your insight but one belief I am pretty confident in is the eternal security and I noticed you believed you can lose your salvation and was wondering if you also thought you earned your salvation, I don't want to get in a debate.... thanks

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. The pre-trib rapture is popularly believed basically for the same reason eternal security is, that is, proponents of such are teaching this from radio, TV and books. It is NOT because people are seeing this in the Bible, for neither is taught in Scripture. Ponder and even memorize Mark 13:24-27. That alone should end this pre-trib rapture doctrine.

Once saved always saved is easy to disprove. All it takes is just one example of any person named or unnamed who once had salvation then afterwards died spiritually for any reason, or a Scripture showing such can occur. There are NO LESS than 18 examples and scores of such verses from the Bible. Hence, eternal security (Calvinism) is false. We believe that we are saved by grace (Eph. 2:8,9) but we can fall from grace (Gal. 5:2-4). We are justified by faith (Rom. 5:1) but our faith can become shipwrecked (1 Tim. 1:19,20) and cease to exist (Lk. 8:13; Rom. 11:19-23). We are not under the law (Rom. 6:14,15) but if you live according to the sinful nature you will die (Rom. 8:13). Paul taught against legalism (Gal. 5:3,4) but he also taught that no immoral, impure or greedy person has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God (Eph. 5:5-7). We are not saved by works (Eph. 2:8,9) but to reap eternal life and not destruction you must sow to please the Spirit and not the sinful nature (Gal. 6:8,9). God is faithful to us (1 Jn. 1:9; 1 Cor. 10:13) but we must be faithful to him to the very end of our lives to escape the lake of fire or second death (Rev. 2:10,11). God surely loves us (Jn. 3:16; Mk. 10:21; Rom. 8:35-39) but those who inherit the kingdom of God love God (Jam 2:5; 1 Cor. 2:9) and to love God means to obey his commands (Jn. 14:15; 1 Jn. 5:3). We have freedom in Christ (Gal. 5:1) but this freedom is not to indulge the sinful nature (Gal. 5:13; 1 Pet 2:16). Please consider getting our 801 page book refuting eternal security entitled, "The Believer's Conditional Security." There is MUCH in it that can help you better understand this salvation related subject. This book is the most exhaustive and comprehensive refutation to eternal security ever written.
