Eternal Security - Doctrine of Demons

Faith Of Demons (pdf)

Doctrines Of Demons DO Exist!

A glaring example of doctrines of demons is eternal security -- the belief that backsliders remain saved in their vile wickedness. It's chilling to consider the capabilities of demons! Among other things, demons can perform miracles (Rev. 16:14) and devise seducing teachings, based on 1 Timothy 4. There is such a thing as a doctrine of demons:

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils (1 Tim 4:1, KJV)

WITHOUT QUESTION: True Grace Teaching Does NOT Allow The Sexually Immoral In Heaven

Since the devil can readily quote Scripture (Mt. 4:6), we should not think the doctrine of demons will be filled with apparent gaping holes that can be easily noticed with little or no effort! Also, the way Satan succeeded in verbally communicating his wishes for Job to curse God (Job 1:11; 2:5) through his wife (Job 2:9) is astounding! Even more astounding, though, is Satan actually spoke through Peter, one of the Lord's chosen apostles (Mt. 16:22,23)! Should we, then, consider it ludicrous for anydoctrine of demons to come through respected and popular teachers of our day? Most assuredly not!

If there is only one thing we can all be sure of regarding the devil's desires for us is, he only has our eternal harm in mind! He wants to see us all in hell. He is especially interested in destroying us spiritually and will move through people and/or circumstances to accomplish this! One of the best ways for him to do this is to downplay the ultimate danger of sin, while seemingly magnifying the cross, Jesus' blood, etc. so as to not be easily detected. That is exactly what the doctrine of demons of eternal security does!

By this I mean, eternal security teachers will readily preach against sin to some very limited degree -- openly declaring the pain, shame and regret it brings with the loss of rewards, fellowship and one's position in the kingdom. However, they will never declare the basic Biblical truth that such has the potential of keeping a person who was once saved out of the kingdom all together, in spite of the many clear Scriptures which show this possibility (Mt. 10:33; Lk. 8:13; Rom. 8:13; 11:20-22; Gal. 5:19-21; 6:8; James 5:19,20; Rev. 22:19; etc.)! We should not be surprised that large numbers of people are attracted to that type of message, which has been foretold:

For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. (2 Tim 4:3,4)

Hence, the popularity of the once saved always saved doctrine, though it is a doctrine of demons, has been predicted in the Bible!

Does True Grace Allow The Sexually Immoral In Heaven

With all this in mind, we need to ask a revealing and specific question:

Does true grace teaching allow the sexually immoral in heaven?

Why singled out the sin of sexual immorality? Because this is obviously a sex-crazed society in which we live. In general, Jesus called it an adulterous generation (Mk. 8:38). Moreover, Paul said we would have to escape the planet to get away from, among others, the sexually immoral (1 Cor. 5:10)! Religious people are not even ashamed of lust in their heart (a form of adultery) anymore! Sexual immorality is abundant.

So with sexual sin all around us, what does the Bible say about the seriousness of it? This is where something begins to surface that is not very pleasant! By this I mean the lying devil and his doctrine of demons. For centuries those who have taught the myth of eternal security or once saved always saved have denied and vehemently argued against sexual immorality negating one's salvation. Sometimes the patriarch David is mentioned in such an endeavor, as was done by the once saved always saved teacher, John R. Rice:

David committed sins of murder and adultery. We must condemn his sins. They were bad. But David's sins were under the blood of Christ, and in the fifty-first Psalm, the prayer of David shows that he had not lost his salvation, but the joy of salvation.

By quoting a reference, John R. Rice seemingly backs his beloved position with the authoritative Scriptures. However, if one would check Psalm 51, he would see that Rice has read into the Scriptures something that is definitely not there as the basis for his argument! Please note:

It also says in Psalm 51:

Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. (v.11)

QUESTION: Was the loss of the joy of his salvation the extreme limit of the spiritual harm he did to himself by his sexual immorality (and murder)? No, but that is what seducing spirits (and their doctrine of demons) would have us to believe! Let's allow the Apostle Paul to clearly answer this for us. In 1 Cor. 6:9,10, Paul (in question form) clears this issue up once and for all:

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God (NASB)

That is what a real grace teacher openly taught as part of his gospel message! Such people will not inherit the kingdom of God. That was clear and just as relevant then as it is today! Doesn't that help identify the doctrine of demons we need to be aware of? Real grace teaching declares that all unforgiven sexually immoral people, besides others like drunkards and the greedy, will definitely not inherit (or enter) the kingdom of God! There are no exceptions!

To reiterate, the eternal security teachers, with their doctrine of demons, are communicating the message of seducing spirits by openly contradicting Paul's grace message about the sexually immoral entering heaven! Of course, they are very careful to stay away from 1 Cor. 6:9,10 as they teach bits and pieces of the Bible, focusing in upon and emphasizing certain verses which, on the surface, seem to be backing for their doctrine of demons, but isn't. Folks, since the term eternal security is a heresy and myth, there surely is no biblical basis for the term eternal security of the believer! Another very clear refutation to eternal security, also written by Paul, is the following:

For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person -- such a man is an idolater -- has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore, do not be partners with them (Eph. 5:5-7).

That was Paul's salvation assurance teaching. Friends, the Bible says, let no one deceive you with empty words about the immoral, impure or greedy, that is, even if they come from a person on TV, radio and who has written numerous books with some sound doctrine!

Too bad I can't say that type of spiritual poison about sexual sin has only been taught in the past by John R. Rice. That would be F-A-R from being accurate. Even more blatant in his teaching on eternal security, Bob George declared his distorted interpretation (doctrine of demons) of one of Paul's teachings over various radio stations:

And as Paul said, "All things are permissible, but not all things are profitable." So is committing fornication permissible? YES. Is it profitable? No, it isn't.

Perhaps Bob George should read 1 Cor. 6:9,10 and Eph. 5:5-7, among other clear verses! Furthermore, all advocates of that type of teaching should also focus in upon Titus 2:12, which describes the true grace of God:

It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.

Imagine the incredible influence that other eternal security teachers like Charles Stanley, John MacArthur, Dave Hunt, Bruce Wilkinson, David Wilkerson and Ray Comfort have in the USA and world at this time. The first two men are pastors of congregations in excess of 10,000 each! Furthermore, their radio broadcasts are heard everywhere in the United States with almost no exception! Television is also a channel through which their easy-to-receive message regarding once saved always saved is broadcasted alongside their many sound sermons.

Moreover, Stanley was elected president at least twice of the convention held by the largest Protestant denomination in the United States, that is, the Southern Baptist! Truly, his influence alone is phenomenal. Yet these ministries, along with Bob George and many others, are openly and shockingly teaching our generation the doctrine of demons that true grace teaching does allow the sexually immoral in heaven! Let's give God Himself (seated on His throne) the final word about the sexually immoral:

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars -- their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death (Rev. 21:8).

Could anything be more clear than that? All sexually immoral people will go to the lake of fire, unless they get Biblically forgiven and die with a pure heart. Don't be deceived by some lying spirit.

[Please see the teaching, Does True Grace Teaching Allow The Sexually Immoral In Heaven?, for some of the documentation regarding statements made by eternal security teachers previously quoted here.]

Eternal Security Is A Doctrine of Demons

In light of all of this, without equivocation, I believe it is spiritually dangerous for the body of Christ to be exposed to the teaching of eternal security! Once save always saved doctrine of demons is lethal and the eternal security teachers are very dangerous people. That is the only logical conclusion one can come to since the Bible clearly identifies that type of sinner (the sexually immoral) as hell bound and not anything less, as the eternal security teachers are trying to convince us of. In other words, the seriousness of sexual immorality, as taught by the eternal security teachers, is as far from the truth of God as the lake of fire is from the kingdom of God! Should not this teaching, therefore, be refuted and grace changers revealed, as teaching a doctrine of demons?

Regarding this rampant doctrine of demons, my wife and I listened to a teaching on a subject that we thought would have nothing to do with endorsing eternal security. We were wrong! The teacher was doing fine until he subtly slipped in the poisonous doctrine of demons -- once saved always saved:

... But he would use them [girls], and he used them sexually at times as well. Now this is a guy in the body of Christ. [The Theater Of Your Mind -- What's Showing? (Tape 2) by Denny Gunderson].

Gunderson should have said:

Now this guy was a professing Christian, but by his actions he denied he knew God (Titus 1:16)

He fell into sexual sin as the Prodigal did and therefore was in vital need of repentance for salvation's sake (Lk. 15:24)

Unfortunately, those kinds of statements are not the vocabulary of the grace changers! Gunderson was speaking for the devil as he taught that man was in the body of Christ when he was sexually immoral.

Those of us who know of the spiritual danger of eternal security should be openly speaking out against this pernicious doctrine of demons, which has to be adversely affecting multitudes in our day! It is time for true servants of God to clearly and boldly proclaim the truth of God! Souls hang in the balance. Precious SOULS are being misled into Hell through that doctrine of demons. We need clear voices openly refuting it! If you are a real Christian, what will you do to help remedy this horrible situation? Remember this: The eternal security teachers, with their incredible influence, won't hesitate to continue to openly pour out their spiritually destructive myths over radio, tv and in their literature! For example, consider what Charles Stanley wrote:

The very gospel itself comes under attack when the eternal security of the believer is questioned. [Eternal Security: Can You Be Sure?, Thomas Nelson Publishers, 1990, p.192, emphasis ours].

What an unbelievable statement! Charles Stanley associates a doctrine of demons and heresy to the gospel, which makes it another gospel! Yet, even worse, many believe it! Dear reader, God only knows how many people in your circle of influence are of that number and will be damned unless you do something! The time to act is now. People need to know the unrecognized heretics and the truth! It is HEALTHY for Christian people to fear being cut off (Rom. 11:20-22). The common myth that there is a guaranteed assurance of salvation to enter God's kingdom is false! We must endure to the end to be saved, according to the Lord Jesus (Mt. 10:22). What happens after death for you depends on where you are spiritually at the point of death!

Here at Evangelical Outreach, we will openly stand against the doctrine of demons of once saved always saved (or eternal security), just as we will any other dangerous distortion of the gospel of grace in an effort to rescue souls from hell and please our Lord!

In conclusion: Does true grace teaching allow the sexually immoral in heaven? One group would answer No, the other Yes. One group is right, the other wrong! One is God's truth, the other is the devil's lie and a doctrine of demons! Remember too that this is an adulterous generation (Mk. 8:38) that urgently needs to know about the real grace we are under. Eternal destinies continue to hang in the balance! So is once saved always saved false? Without question -- YES!

The Real Plan Of Salvation

The true plan of salvation is repentance towards God and faith in Christ Jesus (Acts 20:21). We prove our repentance by our deeds (Acts 26:20). The Lord Jesus taught the road to life is hard and only a few will find it (Mt. 7:13,14, NKJV). Many get saved, but afterwards fall away (Lk. 8:13; Jn. 6:66; 1 Tim. 1:19; etc.). In other words, after initial salvation we must endure to the end to enter the kingdom of God and escape eternal torment in the lake of fire (Mt. 10:22; Heb. 3:14; Rev. 2:10,11).

Eternal life comes to the repentant the moment such believe on Jesus for salvation (Jn. 3:16; 6:47; 1 Jn. 5:12,13), but there is another important aspect of eternal life that many are totally unware of in our day because of the false teaching and doctrine of demons of eternal security. According to true grace teaching, eternal life is also a hope (Titus 3:7), yet to be reaped (Gal. 6:8,9) in the age to come (Mk. 10:30) for only the ones who persist in doing good (Rom. 2:7) and do not grow weary and give up (Gal. 6:9).

If a saved person sows to please his sinful nature (flesh) he'll die spiritually (Rom. 8:13; Gal. 6:8,9; James 5:19,20). The prodigal is a clear example of this (Lk. 15:24,32). Spiritual death can occur to a Christian, so do not be deceived (James 1:14-16)! You can be sure that a righteous person will die spiritually if he turns to evil (Ezek. 18:24; 33:18; etc.).

Because of once saved always saved false doctrine, grace has been taught as a license for immorality for so long, and without much challenge, that when Scripture is quoted to the contrary, such as 1 Cor. 6:9,10 or Rev. 21:8, it is disregarded, and the giver of God's Word is falsely accused of teaching legalism, bondage, a works salvation, etc. This reflects how truly dark are the days in which we live! For your own soul's sake, reject eternal security false doctrine.

Find Out Why Eternal Security Drips With a License For Immorality

For much more information regarding the believer's security, see The Believer's Conditional Security. It is the most exhaustive and comprehensive NO eternal security book ever written. It will not be refuted! It has also demolished that doctrine of demons.

The acid test question to know if a ministry or local congregation is teaching a license for immorality is very important to know about. If they answer wrongly, avoid them like the AIDS virus! To sit under that kind of teaching influence could mean that your soul and the souls of your loved ones will be eternally damned as a result. To support and promote such a ministry and teaching is to share in its wicked work (2 Jn. 9-11). This includes your financial donations! Flee from such a ministry or congregation and encourage others to do the same before it's eternally too late. To work with those who teach a doctrine of demons (the eternal security teachers) is spiritual treason and to be part of the problem too!
