(Eph. 2:19,20)**Scripture shows the Catholic church has erred again by teaching that Jesus founded the Church on the apostle Peter (singular). Most importantly, the plan of salvation taught in Catholicism (Mary, the sacraments and being a Catholic) is unscriptural, POWERLESS and DEADLY.
Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. (Mat 16:16-18)THE ROCK is what Peter declared: that Christ is the Messiah - NOT PETER himself. The Catholic Church has built the entire papacy with their "primacy" of Peter and his being the "first pope" on the twisting of that one verse about the rock. It is amazing how entire religious systems and false doctrines can be built on the twisting and misapplication of one single verse!!
But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness. So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, MAKE EVERY EFFORT to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. (2 Pet 3:13,14)

1. IF Pope John Paul II were teaching wrongly, then how could the magisterium be led by the Holy Spirit to elect him as Pope in the first place?
2. To say you don't know if the pope was right or wrong is to cast doubt on him since he has since been canonized as a saint; faithful, but misled, Catholics are now praying "TO" John Paul, who also consecrated the world TO Mary!
3. The papacy claims for itself the unique exalted position of chiefly feeding the sheep worldwide. If John Paul were teaching error about Mary being the co-redemptrix, then he was not feeding the sheep; he was POISONING them.
**Without question, SCRIPTURE states that the Lord Jesus Christ is our sole redeemer, who bought us with his BLOOD that was shed on the cross (Col. 1:20).
For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but WITH THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST, A LAMB WITHOUT BLEMISH OR DEFECT. (1 Pet. 1:18,19)
while we wait for the blessed hope - the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who GAVE HIMSELF FOR US TO REDEEM US from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. (Titus 2:13,14)Mary did not shed her blood for our sins or die on the cross; nor has she bodily resurrected, as Jesus has. It is IDOLATRY to exalt Mary as Catholics do in various ways, and idolatry will send all idolaters to the lake of fire (Rev. 21:8), unless they sincerely repent and become real Christians.
IF you are a Catholic, you need to change based on scripture. Jesus is the one and only SAVIOR, and our submissive FAITH must be in JESUS, as he himself and his apostles taught. NEVER is Mary shown to be 'our life, sweetness and hope' or that we should pray "TO" Mary ever, especially, "at the hour of our death," as Catholics have been wrongly taught.
As Jesus was saying these things, a woman [just like Catholics in our day] in the crowd called out, "Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you." He replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it." (Luke 11:27,28)
Then you will be HANDED OVER TO BE PERSECUTED AND PUT TO DEATH, and you will be HATED by all nations because of me. At that time MANY will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other (Mat. 24:9,10).
BECAUSE OF THE INCREASE OF WICKEDNESS, the love of MOST will grow cold, but he who stands firm TO THE END will be saved. (Mat 24:12,13)**Both verses are most specific for us!

An example of a powerfully transformed life was Mary Magdalene. At one point she had 7 demons (Mark 16:9; Lk. 8:2), yet became a deeply devoted follower of the Lord Jesus, who stated this after Jesus' crucifixion and before she, or any of the other disciples, knew Jesus would resurrect:
Then the disciples went back to their homes, but Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus' body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot. They asked her, "Woman, why are you crying?" "They have taken MY LORD away," she said, "and I don't know where they have put him." (John 20:10-13)**She still confessed Jesus as, "MY LORD" then!

Persecution is a TEST (Lk. 8:13 cf. Mk. 4:17) and this time now is a time of TESTING via PERSECUTION and other DISTRESS (including LACK). Also, the "Great Tribulation" can be correctly understood as the "great DISTRESS" or "great PERSECUTION" due to the meaning in the Greek.
Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world TO TEST those who live on the earth. I am coming soon. HOLD ON to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. (Rev. 3:10,11)The saints are being kept from the Great Tribulation (which we have already entered) just as Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were from Babylon's fiery's furnace.

Point 2: Fear (including timidity) is not a valid excuse in God's sight for not spreading the plan of salvation to others.
Christians are "soldiers" and are to ENDURE HARDSHIPS (2 Tim. 2:3), while REMAINING FAITHFUL TO JESUS, (Rev. 14:12) and to CONTINUE TO WORK OUT THEIR SALVATION WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING (Phil. 2:12).
Hardships, adversity, unjust attacks, slander, persecutions of different types, sickness, perplexing circumstances, lack, death of loved ones, etc. will SURELY COME to the faithful, but YOU must prevail over them through the Lord, as multitudes have before you.
**Paul and Silas, who prayed and sang hymns to God while bleeding in prison, were battling spiritually and fighting the good fight!

Did you know in Rev. 3:15-16, the Greek term for "HOT", based on the root meaning, is: BOILING for liquids and GLOWING for solids? That boiling/glowing hot state is God's first choice for us and how he wants us to be for him. [BTW, note that his second choice is coldness with lukewarmness coming in last! Why? Lukewarm Christians are likely do more damage to the Kingdom and to souls than the cold.] The Lord said to them, "REPENT".
Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. SO BE EARNEST, AND REPENT. (Rev. 3:19)**The danger if they did not REPENT and come out of their lukewarmness was to be spat out of the body of Christ. Hence, they would DIE SPIRITUALLY (lose their salvation). The consequence for not for rising above lukewarmness is extremely serious. Lukewarmness is not a perpetual condition.

Notice the contrast between the overcomers and the non-overcomers in Rev. 21:1-8, which v.8 has some overlap with the Galatians 5:19-21 listing of sins that comprise the sinful nature and over which we must get the victory - with Jesus' help - in order to inherit "all this" (Rev. 21:7).

**Christians are to "PREACH THE WORD" (2 Tim. 4:2), but many can NOT do that because their religious distinctives and traditions are actually ANTITHETICAL to God's pure word. Most, but not all, are too proud to love truth in order to change and be saved. Hopefully, many will accept God's clear truths as stated in the New Testament. SUCH IS FOR ETERNITY and nothing less. You MUST LOVE TRUTH (God's Word and God himself) MORE THAN THE PRAISE AND ACCEPTANCE OF MAN.
