Because You Asked For Bible Answers

(Bible Question) You are saying that people are actually preaching this "GOSPEL":

"You are saved for all eternity, by God's grace, because Jesus paid for all of your sins, past, present, and future. Now, go out into the world and commit all kinds of atrocities, in the name of Jesus. Let your carnal mind reign over you and submit to its every desire. Lie, steal, and murder, because your headed for heaven, where you will meet up with all of your murderous friends."

I've never heard anyone preach this "GOSPEL".

(Bible Answer) No one has used those exact words, to our knowledge. However, the dangerous eternal security teachers don't have to teach that precise message to convey those same evil concepts! For example: When a heretic, like Donald Cole, tells a woman whose husband left her for another woman that if he was on the road to heaven he is still on the road to heaven in his adultery, the point is made loud and clear for a license for immorality. That is the essence of their false twisted version of grace and their counterfeit gospel. It is disgusting and disheartening to the righteous, but embraced and treasured by the once saved always saved proponents.

That woman should have been told:

Your husband is in adultery and therefore on the road to the lake of fire. If he was ever saved or not is not the issue now. The issue is for him, there are no Christian adulterers. If he was once saved he lost his salvation (died spiritually), when he turned to evil.

No grace changer can teach like that because they are speaking for the devil who wants to recapture souls and will therefore parrot the serpent's message in Gen. 3:4, which denies spiritual death for the righteous. From Ray Comfort to David Wilkerson to Charles Stanley to John MacArthur, church people are being lethally deceived. The holy image of a Christian has been distorted and destroyed. May all Christians fight against that doctrine of demons! Make no mistake about it—their false gospel is much different from Scripture though they use Biblical terms.

Please consider getting our 801 page book refuting eternal security entitled, "The Believer's Conditional Security: Eternal Security Refuted." (Bible Question) Thank you for your website! I can see you have dedicated a large amount of time to the Lord. I would like to answer your Acid test question respectfully with a no, he was not lost while he was sinning. I have over 30 scriptures that tell me I am eternally secure - I'm sure you already know them. I think we will have to agree to disagree. I am writing this worried that you may be accidently making new Christians feel like there is no use in trying to stay saved because they can't keep being perfect (Ecc. 7:20). I go to a Baptist church in Alabama but I'm not a Baptist. I am nondenominational - I believe the Bible. Over the last 10 years I have went before the deacons of the church for the laying on of hands and God has healed me from Migraine headaches, 3 bulging discs in my back, a tumor in my back and arthritis. I love God as you do.

Also you state on your website that the Rapture will be Post-Trib. I believe that if "no man knows the day or hour" it has to be Pre-trib because the trib starts with the Peace treaty ( a dated document) and 1260 days (Rev:11) or 3 1/2 years to mid-trib or 7 years, 2520 days to post trib . If it is mid-trib or post -trib those people will know when the rapture is coming, the only way for no one to know when the rapture is coming is for it to be pre-trib. Please know that I am not trying to aggravate you or argue with you. I already know that you have scores of scripture to defend your beliefs, so this letter is just for thoughts. I thank God for your boldness in spreading Gods word. Respectfully,

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. How can you miss the glaringly obvious from the Bible? Are you cleaving to eternal security because you are cherishing some kind of wickedness? There is more than enough truth in our acid test question for you to see the truth. Have you read through the New Testament on your own? Ponder this:

We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. (1 John 2:3,4)

That doesn't compute with the image of a Christian you have been indoctrinated with. Do you really agree with the Biblical plan of salvation? By referencing Ecc. 7:20 you must think there are no righteous people, which is clearly in error.

We have well over 100 Scriptures in our NO Eternal Security book showing once saved always saved is not Biblical. In fact, eternal security is another gospel. Have you read it?

Please don't think you getting healed means you are sound Scripturally or even a real Christian! God does heal unsaved people:

And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear. But Jesus answered, "No more of this!" And he touched the man's ear and healed him. (Luke 22:50,51)

Also, besides God the devil can perform miracles too! Be alert! Chances are the same ones who taught you there are Christian drunkards, Christian thieves, etc. also taught you the pre-trib rapture myth. You assume the tribulation begins after the rapture and is 7 years, but you can NOT prove either from Scripture! You are being taught things that are supposed to be Scriptural, but aren't. You are to test all teachings, but you haven't, to your own harm. Even though no man knows the day or hour, Jesus and his apostles taught the rapture is post tribulation.

Please know that the Lord Jesus was not joking when he taught those already saved that they would have to endure to the end to be saved (that is, enter the kingdom). See Mt. 10:22 cf. Heb. 3:14; Rev. 2:10,11.

God bless you.

This Is Why Hebrew Roots People Are UNscristural

(Bible Question) ...I came across this page and after reading I saw your refute against Jahova's Witnesses. Here is the article verse you were talking about:

Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

The ONLY true God, AND Jesus Christ. Very basic stuff here.

You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.

Life is recieved through Jesus, as he died for our sins and grants us opportunity for everlasting life. This cannot be refuted, however this does not mean Jesus is God.

Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water" (John 4:10).

You have to ask god. Not Jesus. God. Very simple basic stuff. I am not a Jahova's Witness in the slightest either.

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. The page you referred to is from Jehovah's Witnesses Answered. Let's look again at the verses you mentioned from the Watchtower's Distortion of John 17:3. Your first comment was:

The ONLY true God, AND Jesus Christ. Very basic stuff here.

We do NOT believe Jesus is the Father, as the Watchtower Society has told you! Jesus is NOT The Father. They have misrepresented us, which fits since they are false prophets and, therefore, deceivers (Mt. 24:11). That bit of information nullifies your point! Again, we agree that Jesus is NOT the Father! But the main point of Jn. 17:3 is knowing the Father and Jesus as in a relationship. NOTE: The same Greek word as used by John in John 17:3 is also used twice in 1 John 2:3,4 which should be understood as referring to relationship and NOT "knowledge," as the Watchtower bible wrongly says. Jehovah Witness beliefs are wrong. Here is that passage:

We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. (1 John 2:3,4)

Your other two comments show you reject the deity the Christ to the place you flatly refuse to believe what Jesus plainly taught about salvation. Note the two passages in question:

Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water." (John 4:10)

You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life. (John 5:39,40)

In John 4:10 it is clear that Jesus (not the Father) asked the woman for a drink. The actual verse where this is shown is v.7:

When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, "Will you give me a drink?" (John 4:7)

Hence, it is JESUS we are to PRAY TO and ASK for living water (salvation)! That is also the essence of John 5:40! How can you miss it and take issue with that? This is very basic stuff. Have you read Jesus is YHWH of the Old Testament? Don't be deceived by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society literature. It is NOT accurate in many ways. God bless you.

(Bible Question in Spanish Translated) If everyone who dies goes to Heaven why is the paradise on earth important? Therefore where will the resurrection be? In our model prayer what does it mean "thy kingdom come"?

(Bible Answers) Greetings in Jesus' name. Here are the answers to your questions: 1. When a Christian says he will go to heaven that is short for the "kingdom of heaven," which includes paradise earth too! NOTE: ALL who serve Jesus will be with him (John 12:26). That verse reads:

Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me. (John 12:26)

Hence, it will not just be the 144,000 who will go to heaven! Do not be deceived.

2. ALL people will be resurrected, even the lost (John 5:29). The minority will be with God and in his holy presence, the majority will be damned forever (Mt. 7:13,14 cf. 1 Cor. 6:9-11). Many refuse to go to JESUS for eternal life.

You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life. (John 5:39,40)

Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water." (John 4:10)

People are grossly deceived by false teachings NOT to go to JESUS for salvation.

3. "Thy kingdom come" refers to God's kingdom rule on this planet. Jesus is coming back to rule and reign here with the blessed and holy people:

I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. (Rev 20:4-6)

They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers. (Rev 17:14)

Do you know about the Spanish website? Here it is https://www.alcanceevangelistico.org You will find much material refuting the false doctrines of the Jehovah's Witnesses and others there. [Here is the material in English on Jehovah's Witnesses Exposed.] God bless you.

(Bible Question) Hi according to you articals because i died spiritually there is nothing I could do now? I regret what i have done and repented for over a year now, please tell me there is still hope for me somehow. I can't take living like this anymore, Any advice would be appreciated thanks

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. You have misread our material. We have stated throughout our website, books, audio sermons, etc. that the backslider can come back to salvation upon sincere, humble repentance. The following two teachings show this and will give all backsliders hope: Prodigal and Backslider, God Wants You Back.

Perhaps you are like many who think their sexual sin, drunkenness, theft, murder can not be forgiven and they are, therefore, doomed. That is not true. Please don't be misled. The devil loves to torture one's mind. Don't let him do that to you. Only people who committed eternal sin can not get forgiven. Eternal sin is believing/saying Jesus had a demon and by the power of the devil he performed his miracles. For more information, please read Eternal Sin. Please consider signing up for our internet church, email, text, audio and video teachings, updates, etc. If interested, you can do that there. God bless you.

______________

(Bible Question) Hi I recently read your "Backslider, God wants you back" article.

I am a repentant backslider. My experience may be of interest to you, and might shed some pragmatic light on issues faced by backsliders returning to God. I'm 48. I got saved when I was 20. Baptised, fill with the holy ghost. I also worked for the church for around 2 years and was probably considered a zealous and commited young man. I got married at 26 and had 2 children. My wife after a few years decided to leave the church and God. This eventually came to a head when she told me that she thought she was pregnant and that she was going to have an abortion if she in fact was pregnant....It turned out she wasn't pregnant. But I didn't want to face the prospect of my wife aborting a child. Looking back...she probably wouldn't have done so..but, looking back is easy.

At this time, I had also stopped turning up for church, and lacked real oversight, for want of another word. Eventually I fell into sexual sin.....left my wife, and started living with another woman. I had 2 more children with my new partner. After 4 years I came to my senses, but found myself with a nice, but unbelieving partner. 4 children, 2 of which lived with me. The day I decided to come back to God, I knew I had an issue to resolve. Where to live. Should I stay or should I go? I remember closing the door of the bathroom (the only room in the house with a lock) and asking God to take me back. I also asked him, what to do about my current partner. I thought and believed him to say......stay. He showed me that passage in the bible where it says for us to stay in the situation that we found ourselves in when we came to the Lord. Plus I asked an old Pastor what he thought. So I stayed.

Now, I had moved away from the city where I was living as a married man, to another city, some 70 miles away. The church I was saved into, was no longer. It had crumbled and changed names and members so as to be unrecognisable to me. Plus it was 70 miles away.

So. I decided to search out a local church. This was about 11 years ago. I found that I wasn't very welcome. I went to all the lively churches in the city. The reception was more or less the same. Once I told them I was already a christian, and an adulteror to boot, they shuned me, or at best, put up with me, as long as I said nothing. There was no slaughtering of choice Calves. I eventually went into a massive depression, but kept faith with God. I passed a year or so crying most days. I'd read the parable of the prodigal, and was left crushed and confused by the rejection I'd experienced. That was 11 years ago. I spent the next 10 years or so, on my own with God, living with my partner, but not being able to share with her much, aware that she thought that all christians were hypocrites or worse. Of course, this situation actual helped shape me. There's nothing like having a non believing critical partner to keep you on your toes.

Anyway. About a year ago I found a new church had started in the city. I went along. They are nice people. But I found it similar to my original experience. They were ok, but really struggled with a bloke in my situation. Same sort of reactions. Happy to see me in church. But I've been there more than a year, and haven't seen the inside of anyone's house. Or the outside for that. I have to be careful what I share. Not to give the impression that I have any real knowledge of the word, for fear of falling foul of "Arrogant Adulteror" badge. All this basically means, that life with christians is horrid. Mentally and soulwise, torture. God's good though. I have struggled with "Am I really forgiven". "Am I mad" "Do I just talk to myself when speaking to God" "Let me die" along with, moments of joy. But those joyous moments have never been shared with other christians. ........Ever. Like those Greek Jews in Acts. I have a complaint. I'll email you in another 10 years and give you an update. If I'm around.

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. Thanks for sharing your experiences. Sorry they were so bad. Many can agree that most congregations seem COLD. It appears some church people have their little groups and don't tend to allow others in. That has driven many SOULS away. We are in a widespread APOSTASY, paving the way for the coming Antichrist! The world monetary conditions point to such too.

Two things are most important for me to comment on. You said you are a Christian adulterer. That is a contradiction of terms. The holy image of a Christian has been distorted to a lethal degree. (A real Christian is not a hypocrite.) It is impossible to have such together since a Christian is holy, one who follows Jesus. ALL adulterers will be damned, unless they become Biblically forgiven! See Rev. 21:8; Eph. 5:5-7; Gal. 5:19-21; 1 Cor. 6:9-11, etc.

You referred to the following Scripture, which you have apparently misunderstood!

Each one should remain in the situation which he was in when God called him. Were you a slave when you were called? Don't let it trouble you—although if you can gain your freedom, do so. For he who was a slave when he was called by the Lord is the Lord's freedman; similarly, he who was a free man when he was called is Christ's slave. (1 Cor 7:20-22)

The context is NOT your situation as you have applied it! You must consider the context which refers to Christian slaves possibly gaining their freedom from slavery. If you reject the context, then:

Judas went out and hanged himself (Mt. 27:5), go ye and do likewise (Lk. 10:37), whatever you do, do quickly (Jn. 13:27)!

Should you reach for the rope? (NO!) So, check the context or you will be misled. That old pastor who agreed was ignorant and gave you poisonous advice. Sadly, there are too many like him in such a position to the detriment of SOULS.

You are NOT a Christian since you are in sexual sin! There is NO eternal security. Don't be misled by that doctrine of demons taught by the dangerous grace changing eternal security teachers. All you seem to have is the faith of demons. Ponder this:

We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. (1 John 2:3,4)

For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a man is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them. (Eph 5:5-7)

When the prodigal repented, he turned from sexual sin to serve God. Compare to 1 Thess. 1:9. He got true forgiveness. Anything less will NOT work. God bless you.

(Bible Question) I enjoyed reading through your study about our Lord Jesus being YHWH (LORD) in the Old Testament scriptures. There are, however, a couple of verses that come to mind that are difficult to reconcile. The first is Hebrews 1:1-2:

God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son...

If Jesus is YHWH, how, and when, then did God speak? Wasn't it through "thus saith the LORD" which the prophets spoke out and recorded? The second verse is Isaiah 53:6:

"All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all."

How can Jesus be LORD, if He was the one on which our sins were placed? I appreciate your time in answering these questions. God bless you in your continued ministry.

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. First, there is NO question that Jesus is YHWH of the OT, according to all those Scriptures cited. No person can fully understand all the details about the infinite eternal God of the Bible, since we have only a finite mind. We must realize certain basic facts though to be accurate. God is compound unity and three distinct persons. That is where the Trinity doctrine comes from and such is Biblical.

Sometimes when the term God is used it refers to the Father, sometimes the Son and sometimes the Holy Spirit. Hence, it can seem confusing, such as in the case of Heb. 1. Another truth about God is often the term God, refers to all three persons such as in Gen. 1:26,27:

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

Question for you: Explain the plural and singular pronouns referring to God in Gen. 1:26,27! That is similar to Isa. 53:6. Remember Calvinism (or as it sometimes called the doctrines of grace) is a dangerous lie from the pit of hell. Don't be duped!

(Bible Question) Read your writeup on the false prophet, anti christ and end time events..while maybe somewhat accurate..fails to take into account some Biblical truths..such as Apostle John saying ..there were anti christs among us even in his time...so these obviously are false preachers who profess to be christian but are preaching a false christian gospel..these are of course, sunday followers, who do not follow the true word of God, and His Holy day each week the Seventh day Sabbath......if you do not follow this you do not have to worry about the coming kingdom of God..because you will be among the deceived majority who are on the broad road to destruction..it will not matter to this group what the mark of the beast is or isn't!

No I am not SDA., and I am not familiar with Ms White's teachings...I am a Biblical scholar, inspired by the Holy Spirit, who has one purpose, to teach the correct word of God from the Bible, as Jesus commanded..I work independently, as i find organizations are too misleading and divisive, and are definitely the work of satan, which has been proven correct...divide and conquer mentality that satan has given the majority of professing christians...If you would like more information, would be glad to help you..God bless you and yours, in your search for the true God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Israel)..

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. As long as you think you are a Biblical scholar, inspired by the Holy Spirit there is little hope for anyone to help you, including me. Your pride is blocking correction! God opposes the proud.

Many things have changed from the way it was in Moses' day when the Saturday sabbath was exalted. Now there are no more animal sacrifices, human high priest, Levitical priesthood, dietary law, religious circumcision, etc. Why is it then so hard for you to believe the Saturday sabbath rules are different for us too? Have you ever noticed that there is NO Saturday sabbath command in the New Testament—only in the Old Testament were we read of animal sacrifices, etc. All of the other 10 commandments are reinstated in the NT except that one! WHY? It is not Biblical to be a Saturday Sabbatarian. You are not really keeping the Saturday Sabbath as in the days of Moses anyhow!

Most shocking is how anyone could link the mark of the beast to Sunday worship. There is not even 1 Scripture to use for such a weird belief which probably started with false prophet, Ellen G. White. The mark of the beast is what one will need to buy or sell. It has nothing to do with what day is exalted to worship on.

You say you are not an SDA but your doctrines on this are just as bad. Are you ensnared by the Galatianism of our day? Do you know anything at all about the New Creation? The Christian plan of salvation is different from what many think. Read the New Testament to learn about the plan of salvation, not the Old Testament.

_______________

(Bible Question) What is meant in this passage: Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name - the name you gave me. Protect them by the power of your name, what is that name and what is the name you gave me? It sounds like it is the same name. Thank you for your help.

(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. The verse in question is:

...Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name--the name you gave me--so that they may be one as we are one. (John 17:11)

Jesus is called by MANY NAMES and titles. In fact, we have at least 100 names and titles for Jesus listed on our website. In John's gospel, Jesus was clearly called the Word before he came to earth (John 1:1,14). The name Jesus was given to the Word at birth by Joseph and the reason is cited below:

She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins. (Mat 1:21)

Since the Father is shown to be God, the Son is called God and the Holy Spirit is also shown to be GOD, and yet they are three separate and distinct persons of the same nature, then the Trinity doctrine is Scriptural. Jesus is NOT the Father and all who teach he is, are certainly in error. For example, in John 17 who was Jesus praying to? He wasn't praying to himself! He was praying to the Father -- a different person. Are you aware that salvation comes before water baptism?
