Great Tribulation News and Events

Here are just 2 of Jeremiah's experiences reflecting his earthy "race" as a prophet:

Read and ponder those verses for a blessing. Many claim the title of prophet for themselves without the adversities that go with it. Jesus warned of many FALSE prophets (Mt. 24:11)!

Sid Roth's FALSE Prophecy

Did you know the Babylonians rode horses that were "swifter than leopards and FIERCER THAN WOLVES AT DUSK"?

I am raising up the BABYLONIANS, that ruthless and impetuous people, who sweep across the whole earth to seize dwelling places not their own. They are a feared and dreaded people; they are a law to themselves and promote their own honor. THEIR HORSES ARE SWIFTER THAN LEOPARDS, FIERCER THAN WOLVES AT DUSK. Their cavalry gallops headlong; their horsemen come from afar. They fly like a vulture swooping to devour; they all come bent on violence. Their hordes advance like a desert wind and gather prisoners like sand. (Hab. 1:6-9)
Horses like that could be worse than the soldiers on them.

Do NOT stumble over this verse as some do!

Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads. (Rev. 14:1)
The names written on the foreheads of the 144,000 (who enter God's kingdom), can NOT be compared to those who receive the mark of the beast on the right hand or forehead needed to buy or sell (Rev. 13:16,17) and who consequently go to the lake of fire (Rev. 14:9-12). The two marks are completely different.

With today's technology, the microneedle patch vaccine can place a scannable quantum dot tattoo MARK connected to currency on the physical body at the same time and place. That same MARK is visible under a special light, but is otherwise invisible to the naked eye. The devil is not only a copycat, but he is deceitful too! Most importantly, we have these scriptural details >> microneedle patch vaccine close up which will produce the Quantum Dot Tattoo

Backslider, God Wants YOU Back

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were BOUGHT AT A PRICE. Therefore honor God with your body. (1 Cor. 6:19,20)
To understand those truths will make any Christian feel extremely privileged, regardless of his earthly situation or painful trials.

Additionally, the concept of belonging to God (Mark 9:41; Jn. 8:47a) and being his slave is further reinforced in the following passage:

Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey - whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness. (Rom 6:16-18)

Which Are You - A Slave to Sin or A Servant of God?

...What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not? (1 Cor. 4:7)
Those truths will help keep the Christian HUMBLE, which is vitally necessary. EVERYTHING we have, one way or another, comes back to God, including the abilities and insights he has given us. Do not allow the devil to deceive you into thinking that you are something really special or great - a self-made hero. Your enemy the devil would love to get you in pride, because God opposes the proud (James 4:6). For further insights on what the Bible says about pride, see:

Pride Is A Killer

Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. For your hands are stained with blood, your fingers with guilt. Your lips have spoken lies, and your tongue mutters wicked things. (Isa 59:1-3)

Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs. (Jonah 2:8)

***A Catholic Theologian is Clear: Catholics do "WORSHIP" the saints and Mary:

The heretics calumniate us, by saying that we give to the saints the same honour we pay to God: but we hold that to the saints on account of their supernatural virtue, is due the WORSHIP which is called dulia; that to the Divine Mother on account of the more sublime gifts and virtues which she possessed, should be paid the WORSHIP which is called hyperdulia, and that the WORSHIP of latria is due to God alone on account of his infinite perfections, and to Jesus Christ on account of the hypostatic union of the faith with the divinity of the Word. (St. Alphonsus Liguori, Saint Alphonsus Liguori on the Council of Trent, reprint of An Exposition and Defence of All the Points of Faith Discussed and Defined by the Sacred Council of Trent, p. 400)

That reeks with soul-condemning IDOLATRY. REPENT OR PERISH.

Do Catholics worship Jesus? YES. How? By worshiping a statue they think is of his likeness! BTW, Catholics frequently try to hide that they worship Mary and the "saints' with semantic trickery - by splitting semantic hairs with the word venerate, which is really a synonym for worship.

More Trouble for KJV Onlyites: Did They Hear Jesus' Voice or Not?

And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest. And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but THEY HEARD NOT THE VOICE OF HIM THAT SPAKE TO ME. (Acts 22:8,9, KJV)
And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, HEARING A VOICE, but seeing no man. (Acts 9:7, KJV)
**There is NO contradiction in the Greek scriptures. It is the INFERIOR KJV translation that has created that 'contradiction' (and even more confusion for the readers) which has also been exploited by Mormon missionaries, as they try to make converts (and exalt the Book of Mormon).

The Greek and modern reputable translations show an important difference and thereby resolve the 'contradiction problem' with the following clarification:

Now those who were with me saw the light but DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE VOICE of the one who was speaking to me. (Acts 22:9)
They heard a voice, but didn't understand what the Lord said. The contradiction is not in the Bible, just the KJV translation.

The "Jesus of Nazareth" Title

Of the MANY names and TITLES of the Lord Jesus, he chose "Jesus of Nazareth" to identify himself to Saul (Paul) on the Damascus road:
'Who are you, Lord?' I asked. 'I am JESUS OF NAZARETH, whom you are persecuting,' he replied. (Acts 22:8)
The Lord's disciples used the same title at times. Here is just one example from the two on the road to Emmaus:
One of them, named Cleopas, asked him, "Are you only a visitor to Jerusalem and do not know the things that have happened there in these days?" "What things?" he asked. "About JESUS OF NAZARETH," they replied. "He was a prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people. The chief priests and our rulers handed him over to be sentenced to death, and they crucified him; but we had hoped that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel. And what is more, it is the third day since all this took place. (Luke 24:18-21)
Even DEMONS called Jesus that:
"What do you want with us, JESUS OF NAZARETH? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are - the Holy One of God!" "Be quiet!" said Jesus sternly. "Come out of him!" The evil spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek. (Mark 1:24-26)

Some people live to EAT FOOD and some others to GET HIGH.

Such people are self-indulgent, spiritually near-sighted followers of the flesh, similar to these widows who were previously Christians:
But the widow who lives for pleasure is DEAD even while she lives. (1 Tim. 5:6)
In contrast, the real Christian is a SELF DENYING follower of the Lord Jesus:
Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must DENY HIMSELF and take up his cross daily and follow me." (Luke 9:23)
So, who or what are you living for?

Counterfeit scripture has always been around, even since first century Christianity.

Of the various important truths found below, note what the Bible says about counterfeit writings from Paul. (Remember, since Paul's writing are scripture - 2 Peter 3:16, then counterfeit writings of Paul is counterfeit scripture):
Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or LETTER SUPPOSED TO HAVE COME FROM US, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. (2 Thess. 2:1-3)
Apparently, there were FALSE PROPHETS and COUNTERFEIT PAULINE EPISTLES wrongly stating the day of the Lord had already come! Paul corrected that deception.

The title for God, "LORD of hosts" is found many times throughout the Old Testament.

It could be understood as: Yahweh of armies, because the Hebrew term for hosts can mean armies. With that in mind, the word-picture of soldiers in a battle can be envisioned. We are told:
Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs - he wants to please his commanding officer. (2 Tim. 2:3,4)
We are to be good soldiers in the Lord's army and sometimes such a soldier must STAND ALONE against the enemy in battle like Eleazar and Shammah did in the natural:
Next to him was ELEAZAR son of Dodai the Ahohite. As one of the three mighty men, he was with David when they taunted the Philistines gathered at Pas Dammim for battle. Then the men of Israel retreated, but he stood his ground and struck down the Philistines till his hand grew tired and froze to the sword. The LORD brought about a great victory that day. The troops returned to Eleazar, but only to strip the dead. Next to him was SHAMMAH son of Agee the Hararite. When the Philistines banded together at a place where there was a field full of lentils, Israel's troops fled from them. But Shammah took his stand in the middle of the field. He defended it and struck the Philistines down, and the LORD brought about a great victory. (2 Sam. 23:9-12)

Great Tribulation News and Events

DO NOT BE DECEIVED: Just "going to church" to religiously meet somewhere is NOT obeying this commonly misunderstood verse:

Let US not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (Heb. 10:25)
WHO should we be "meeting together" with?
...PURSUE righteousness, faith, love and peace, ALONG WITH THOSE WHO CALL ON THE LORD OUT OF A PURE HEART. (2 Tim 2:22)
Almost all congregations in our day now are FILLED WITH FALSE DOCTRINE and SIN. Multitudes are not "PURE" in heart. IF you think you've found one that is, ask the 'pastor' this question:

Did King David lose his salvation (die spiritually) when he turned to adultery and murder? The scriptural answer is YES (Ezek. 33:18). IF the 'wolf pastor' answers to dodge the question, he might say, "David repented," but that wasn't the question. Don't let him escape the point by a distraction technique.

***BE VERY CAREFUL of the teachings you sit under. MANY have been destroyed by attending religious "meetings" held by a scripturally unqualified leader ("wolf"). (One example is Rev. 2:20.) To obey the following related command will cause most to leave their congregation:

Test everything. Hold on to the good. AVOID EVERY KIND OF EVIL. (1 Thess. 5:21,22)

Keep away from false teachers. (Rom. 16:17, 2 Cor. 11:4; 2 Jn. 10, Gal. 1:8,9). For a more detailed study on this command, check out the following article.

I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.... (Eph 1:18,19)

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (Eph 5:8)

Do NOT write this, but DO write that:

And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, "Seal up what the seven thunders have said and DO NOT WRITE IT DOWN." (Rev 10:4)
Then I heard a voice from heaven say, "WRITE: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them." (Rev. 14:13)
Then the angel said to me, "WRITE : 'Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!'" And he added, "These are the true words of God." (Rev. 19:9)
He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "WRITE THIS DOWN, for these words are trustworthy and true." (Rev. 21:5)

Read Isaiah 55 for a blessing

Did Jesus say, "If you love me, you will kiss statues of me?"

Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me will not obey my teaching...." (John 14:23,24)
To kiss-a- 'statue-of-Jesus'-to-show-your-love-for-him is LETHAL, because the same people who wrongly believe they are expressing love for Jesus are DISOBEYING him and showing non-love and sinning (idolatry). How the devil must delight in his deception.

One of the happiest men in the New Testament was probably the paralytic WHO WAS BOTH SAVED AND HEALED!

When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "SON, YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN." Now some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves, "Why does this fellow talk like that? He's blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?" Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, "Why are you thinking these things? Which is easier: to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up, take your mat and walk'? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins . . . ." HE SAID TO THE PARALYTIC, "I TELL YOU, GET UP, TAKE YOUR MAT AND GO HOME." HE GOT UP, TOOK HIS MAT AND WALKED OUT IN FULL VIEW OF THEM ALL. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, "We have never seen anything like this!" (Mark 2:5-12)

**Imagine how FILLED WITH JOY that man was as he went home carrying his mat!

Surely, another happy man was this one:

As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening. They told him, "Jesus of Nazareth is passing by." He called out, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!" Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?" "Lord, I want to see," he replied. Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has healed you." IMMEDIATELY HE RECEIVED HIS SIGHT AND FOLLOWED JESUS, PRAISING GOD. WHEN ALL THE PEOPLE SAW IT, THEY ALSO PRAISED GOD. (Luke 18:35-43)

Imagine a KING of a country publicly praising God, as David did here:

As the ark of the LORD was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw KING DAVID LEAPING AND DANCING before the LORD, she despised him in her heart. (2 Sam. 6:16)
Some think they are too dignified to CORRECTLY act as David unashamedly did there.

Another person who was one of the happiest in the NT was this repentant sinful woman who went to Jesus and got forgiven (without speaking a word):

When a woman who had lived a sinful life in that town learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee's house, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume, and as she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then SHE WIPED THEM WITH HER HAIR, kissed them and POURED PERFUME ON THEM. When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, "If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is--that she is a sinner." Jesus answered him, "Simon, I have something to tell you." "Tell me, teacher," he said. "Two men owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he canceled the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?" Simon replied, "I suppose the one who had the bigger debt canceled." "You have judged correctly," Jesus said. Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and WIPED THEM WITH HER HAIR. You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. You did not put oil on my head, but SHE HAS POURED PERFUME ON MY FEET. Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven--for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little." Then Jesus said to her, "YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN." The other guests began to say among themselves, "Who is this who even forgives sins?" Jesus said to the woman, "YOUR FAITH HAS SAVED YOU; GO IN PEACE." (Luke 7:37-50)
The identity of that woman is show to be Mary:
This Mary, whose brother Lazarus now lay sick, was THE SAME ONE WHO POURED PERFUME ON THE LORD AND WIPED HIS FEET WITH HER HAIR. (John 11:2)

This world system, even back in Jesus' day, was so dark and deceived that "MANY" wrongly thought the Lord Jesus was crazy and demon-possessed:

Many of them said, "He is demon-possessed and raving mad. Why listen to him?" (John 10:20)

FALSE Religious Teachers are this DANGEROUS!

Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. So be on your guard! Remember that FOR THREE YEARS I NEVER STOPPED WARNING EACH OF YOU NIGHT AND DAY WITH TEARS. (Acts 20:28-31)
**For 3 years, night and day and with TEARS, Paul never stopped warning the elders of FALSE teachers ("SAVAGE WOLVES"). That fact speaks volumes of their DANGER to the "sheep."

To the football devotee - Do YOU "love Jesus" more than football?

To the avid hunter, fisherman or camper - Do YOU "love Jesus" more than hunting or fishing or camping?

To the businessman - Do YOU "love Jesus" more than success?

Do YOU "love Jesus" more than money, popularity or ANYTHING, including your own life? Is JESUS your EVERYTHING, as he should be?

Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. (Mat. 10:37,38)
When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, DO YOU TRULY LOVE ME MORE THAN THESE?" "Yes, Lord," he said, "you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my lambs." Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me?" He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep." The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep. (John 21:15-17)

Suppose one of you had a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Would he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, 'Come along now and sit down to eat'? Would he not rather say, 'Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink'? Would he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do? So you also, WHEN YOU HAVE DONE EVERYTHING YOU WERE TOLD TO DO, SHOULD SAY, 'WE ARE UNWORTHY SERVANTS; WE HAVE ONLY DONE OUR DUTY.' (Luke 17:7-10)
BUT God will still respond this way:
Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time EACH WILL RECEIVE HIS PRAISE FROM GOD. (1 Cor. 4:5)
"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' (Mat. 25:21)
His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' (Mat. 25:23)

**The NEVER SAVED argument/smokescreen cited by OSAS proponents is NOT really relevant to the subject of the BELIEVER'S security, since the "Never Saved to Begin with" were never believers.

Furthermore, David was certainly saved before he turned to adultery and murder and, as a consequence, died spiritually (Ezek. 33:18). His example (as a righteous man who turned to evil) refutes OSAS; these scriptures do too: Jn. 6:66; Mt. 10:33; Lk. 8:13, 1 Tim. 5:11 cf. v.15; etc.)

OSAS is most definitely a false gospel (false plan of salvation) and, as such, is not an 'in house debate'. Separating from and calling out false teachers is not only NOT being divisive, it is a command (Rom. 16:17, Jude 3,4 etc.), and though the false OSAS teachers constitute the majority in this late, apostate hour, THEY are the divisive ones.

THESE ARE THE ONES WHO CAUSE DIVISIONS, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit. (Jude 1:19)
Remember that it is the narrow road with fewer travelers that leads to life, not the broad road with the majority (Mt. 7:13,14).

The Quran teaches that Allah is a deceiver - the best deceiver (3:54; 7:99; 8:30; 10:21; 13:42)! In contrast, the God of the Bible is the GOD OF TRUTH (Psa. 31:5; Isa 65:16) and the devil (our enemy) is a deceiver (Jn. 8:44).

Jesus gives us JOY:

I have told you this so that MY JOY MAY BE IN YOU and that your joy may be complete. (John 15:11)

Jesus gives us PEACE:

PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU; MY PEACE I GIVE YOU. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27)
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

Jesus gives LIFE:

yet you refuse to come to me to have LIFE. (John 5:40)
Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you LIVING WATER." (John 4:10)
>He who has the Son has LIFE; he who does not have the Son of God DOES NOT HAVE LIFE. (1 John 5:12)
FOCUS ON ETERNITY (the BIG PICTURE), not just this Great Tribulation period - 2 Cor. 4:16-18.

** Read and ponder Psalm 37 for a blessing

A kind sympathetic act can be grossly misunderstood. Such happened and resulted in David's men being shamed and disgraced by their enemies, who cut off their beards:

David thought, "I will show kindness to Hanun son of Nahash, just as his father showed kindness to me." So David sent a delegation to express his sympathy to Hanun concerning his father. When David's men came to the land of the Ammonites, the Ammonite nobles said to Hanun their lord, "Do you think David is honoring your father by sending men to you to express sympathy? Hasn't David sent them to you to explore the city and spy it out and overthrow it?" So HANUN SEIZED DAVID'S MEN, SHAVED OFF HALF OF EACH MAN'S BEARD, CUT OFF THEIR GARMENTS IN THE MIDDLE AT THE BUTTOCKS, AND SENT THEM AWAY. When David was told about this, he sent messengers to meet the men, for they were greatly humiliated. The king said, "Stay at Jericho till your beards have grown, and then come back." (2 Sam. 10:2-5)
**Terrible and UNJUST things happen to us all. YOU are not the only one. STAY FAITHFUL TO GOD regardless the MANY unjust things that will yet happen to YOU.

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer. (Psa 19:14)

No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength. A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save. But the eyes of the LORD are on those who FEAR HIM, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. (Psa 33:16-19)

In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. BOTH OF THEM WERE UPRIGHT IN THE SIGHT OF GOD, OBSERVING ALL THE LORD'S COMMANDMENTS AND REGULATIONS BLAMELESSLY. (Luke 1:5,6)
Some people wrongly think that one cannot be "blameless"; yet, both Zechariah and Elizabeth were. In fact, there were others too:
So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found SPOTLESS, BLAMELESS AND AT PEACE with him. (2 Pet. 3:14)

Believe scripture and do not be deceived by the misuse of the "there are none righteous" verse of Romans 3:23. That verse is speaking of the unsaved BEFORE THEY BECOME SAVED [that is, before they became RIGHTEOUS and were set free from sin addictions (Rom. 6:22)]. Be sure to examine, Are You Sure There Are None Righteous?

Babylon the Great = the Great City = Jerusalem

THE GREAT CITY split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath. (Rev. 16:19)
Their bodies will lie in the street of THE GREAT CITY, which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified [Jerusalem]. (Rev. 11:8)
Do you need more evidence? See Jerusalem Is Mystery Babylon The Great

A More Subtle Satanic Temptation

Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel. (1 Chron. 21:1)
The details of what happened there are shown below:
But Joab replied, "May the LORD multiply his troops a hundred times over. My lord the king, are they not all my lord's subjects? Why does my lord want to do this? Why should he bring guilt on Israel?" The king's word, however, overruled Joab; so Joab left and went throughout Israel and then came back to Jerusalem. Joab reported THE NUMBER OF THE FIGHTING MEN to David: In all Israel there were one million one hundred thousand men who could handle a sword, including four hundred and seventy thousand in Judah. But Joab did not include Levi and Benjamin in the numbering, because THE KING'S COMMAND WAS REPULSIVE TO HIM. THIS COMMAND WAS ALSO EVIL IN THE SIGHT OF GOD; SO HE PUNISHED ISRAEL. Then David said to God, "I HAVE SINNED GREATLY BY DOING THIS. Now, I beg you, take away the guilt of your servant. I have done a very foolish thing." (1 Chron. 21:3-8)
God was to be their REFUGE and FORTRESS. He was to be TRUSTED IN FOR VICTORY - not their great military numbers and might. The same is true for us today.

Remember Gideon and how God wanted the number of fighting men reduced to 300 (Judges 7). Judges 7:2 is key. Satan tempted David to trust in the "arm of the flesh" (his military might) rather than in God, and that misplaced trust was a great sin. The devil will attack YOU that way too! Be alert. KEEP YOUR TRUST IN ALMIGHTY GOD.

**No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength. A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save. But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. (Psa 33:16-19)

Do you claim to be a Christian, yet try to defend sinning daily? Such is NOT the speech of one who has been set free from his sin addictions and who is FOLLOWING KING JESUS UNASHAMEDLY in the here and the now. Deeply REPENT and God will set you free too.

We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. (1 John 2:3,4)
NO ONE who lives in him keeps on sinning. NO ONE who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. (1 John 3:6)

We can NOT, at this time, come even remotely close to understanding the glorious, exciting, thrilling and joyful days ahead for us in PARADISE with God (if we remain in him).

Remember that truth as you also consider how the godly lived and SUFFERED GREATLY because they were not being part of the world in their day. They were like us, AND they had an ENDURING FAITH, which we also must have in order to enter God's PARADISE kingdom:
...Others were tortured and refused to be released, so that they might gain a better resurrection. Some faced jeers and flogging, while still others were chained and put in prison. They were stoned; they were sawed in two; they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated - THE WORLD WAS NOT WORTHY OF THEM. They wandered in deserts and mountains, and in caves and holes in the ground. These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised. (Heb. 11:35-39)
For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on him, BUT ALSO TO SUFFER FOR HIM. (Phil. 1:29)
We must go through many hardships to enter the Kingdom of God (Acts 14:22).
I consider that OUR PRESENT SUFFERINGS ARE NOT WORTH COMPARING with the glory that will be revealed in us. (Rom. 8:18)
Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death. (Rev. 2:10,11)

John 3:16 and Eternal Life Misunderstanding

Great Tribulation News and Events

Keep yourselves in God's love AS YOU WAIT for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. (Jude 1:21)

PATIENT ENDURANCE has always been a must for the saints as we "WAIT" either for our own physical death (departure of the spirit) or the Lord's glorious and visible return:
If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed. THIS CALLS FOR PATIENT ENDURANCE AND FAITHFULNESS ON THE PART OF THE SAINTS. (Rev. 13:10)
Compare that to the following verse related to PATIENT ENDURANCE, PERSISTENCE and PERSEVERANCE. Also, note how those traits relate to bringing forth fruit (in Lk. 8:15).
Blessed is the man who PERSEVERES under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12)

It amazes me how some, who exalt the water gospel, think they can cancel out Jesus' teachings with something from Acts, especially when other verses from the same book (Acts) refute the water gospel. There are no contradictions in God's word; we must compare scripture with scripture to get a complete picture.

NOTE: One contacts the blood of Jesus Christ when he is forgiven and set free from his sin addictions, and such happens NOT at the point of water baptism, but instead at the point of repentance:
For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin - because anyone who has died has been freed from sin. (Rom. 6:6,7)
Disciples are Christians, that is, saved people (Mt. 12:48-50; Acts 11:26; etc.) and THEY (the saved) are the ones who are baptized:
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them [baptizing the 'disciples'] in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (Mat. 28:19)
People become saved, then get baptized.

Christians are to be baptized ASAP for the pledge of a good conscience (1 Peter 3:21). On a side note: by no means are you to go to a wolf or false gospel preacher to get baptized.

I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I HOLD THE KEYS OF DEATH AND HADES. (Rev. 1:18)
To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who HOLDS THE KEY OF DAVID. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. (Rev. 3:7)
**Jesus holds all those "keys" and is himself THE KEY to having eternal life:
And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. (1 John 5:11,12)

How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in you. (Psa. 31:19)

BUT ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER DAILY, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ IF we hold firmly TILL THE END the confidence we had at first. (Heb 3:13,14)

The following outcome will happen to ALL THE UNGODLY:

In a similar way, SODOM AND GOMORRAH AND THE SURROUNDING TOWNS gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who SUFFER the punishment of ETERNAL FIRE. (Jude 1:7)
... [God] condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO THE UNGODLY; (2 Pet 2:6)
The drunks, liars, thieves, swindlers, etc. are not better off than homosexuals (1 Cor. 6:9-11; Rev. 21:8). Like ALL THE other UNGODLY, they too will go to ETERNAL FIRE, unless they REPENT and TURN TO THE LORD JESUS TO FOLLOW HIM. (If you hear someone comment that Christians are singling out homosexuals and picking on them, you can point him to that truth.)
The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into THE FIERY FURNACE, where there will be WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH. (Mat. 13:41,42)

Read Ezekiel 33 to be Stirred

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues PUT ON LOVE, which binds them all together in perfect unity. (Col. 3:12-14)

NOTE: ONLY the Jews were God's chosen people in the OT (Dt. 7:6; etc.), but now NON-Jews (gentiles) and Jews alike are "God's chosen people," IF they have been circumcised of the heart (via repentance and a submissive faith to follow the Lord Jesus unashamedly):

A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God. (Rom 2:28,29)
See also 1 Peter 2:9.

**Do YOU know Jesus (1 John 2:3,4)? Are YOU walking in the spirit?

Did Paul receive financial support from churches?

I robbed other churches by RECEIVING SUPPORT FROM THEM so as to serve you. And when I was with you and needed something, I was not a burden to anyone, for THE BROTHERS WHO CAME FROM MACEDONIA SUPPLIED WHAT I NEEDED. I have kept myself from being a burden to you in any way, and will continue to do so. (2 Cor. 11:8,9)
Moreover, as you Philippians know, IN THE EARLY DAYS of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, NOT ONE CHURCH SHARED WITH ME IN THE MATTER OF GIVING AND RECEIVING, EXCEPT YOU ONLY; (Phil. 4:15)
I have received full payment and even more; I am amply supplied, now that I HAVE RECEIVED FROM EPAPHRODITUS THE GIFTS YOU SENT. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. (Phil. 4:18)

Paul also worked hard with his hands to support himself and his companions.

We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; (1 Cor. 4:12)
Or is it only I and Barnabas who must work for a living? (1 Cor. 9:6)
You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions. (Acts 20:34)
All those details of Paul's life and ministry are true and must be considered.

To Commit Suicide is To Die a Self-MURDERER

but she who is self-indulgent is DEAD even while she lives. (1 Tim. 5:6).

The male counterpart to the pleasure-seeking or self-indulgent widow is the rich man from Luke 16:
There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. (Luke 16:19)
It is implied that same rich man also had feasts because of the next verse:
AT HIS GATE was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and LONGING TO EAT WHAT FELL FROM THE RICH MAN'S TABLE. Even the dogs came and licked his sores. (Luke 16:20,21)
That same rich Jew, after his death, went to the fires of Hades and was in AGONY IN FIRE (Lk. 16:24) - the same place ALL the SELF-INDULGENT are going, who die in their sins. Jesus tells us to DENY SELF:
Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must DENY HIMSELF and take up his cross daily and follow me." (Luke 9:23)
But for those who are SELF-SEEKING and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. (Rom. 2:8)

The term "SAVED" is sprinkled throughout the New Testament and refers to salvation (deliverance from evil, initially and even throughout our walk in Christ, as we remain in him, AND, finally, from the fires of hell when our spirit departs our body at physical death). To be unsaved implies an ever-present, real spiritual DANGER from which we all need to be delivered by the SAVIOR. That DANGER is universal and results in ETERNAL FIRE and TORMENT, which is commonly translated as HELL.

Not that I accept human testimony; but I mention it that you may be saved. (John 5:34)
I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. (John 10:9)
Jesus said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace." (Luke 7:50)
Someone asked him, "Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?" He said to them, "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to." (Luke 13:23,24)
All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. (Mat 10:22)
And, "If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?" (1 Pet 4:18)
REPENT or you will perish, that is, repent or you won't be go to PARADISE. To PERISH is the opposite of being SAVED. You must endure TO THE END to be saved (Mt. 10:22), that is, ENTER God's kingdom.

IF a Christian backslides (dies spiritually), it is his SOUL that dies:

Behold, all souls are mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is mine: THE SOUL WHO SINS SHALL DIE. (Ezek. 18:4)
Spiritual death happened to King David when he turned to adultery and murder. Him being a "man after God's own heart" (leading people in true worship of God) didn't prevent that.

Yes, David afterwards repented and became spiritually "alive again," like the prodigal did after he repented and returned to serve the Father (Lk. 15:24) - though that is a separate example. Ezek. 18:4 (and other scriptures) show David was spiritually dead and on the road for hell BEFORE he repented. Had David died unrepentant, he would have died a lost man.

Ponder how to spot a grace changer (and how to respond). This article will help you become more skilled in obeying the command to contend for the faith and how to reply when the grace changers dodge this telling and crucial question. (Jude 3,4)
