Mary Artemis?
Catholics insist their Mary is ever-virgin (in contradiction to the Bible). That makes their sovereign and omnipotent Queen of Heaven JUST LIKE the PAGAN goddess, Artemis (who is also a virgin Queen of Heaven)!!!
The real Mary is hardly mentioned in the NT, and NEVER is she magnified in the Bible as in Catholicism. In fact, Peter (who was supposed to be the first pope) NEVER mentioned Mary for anything, though he taught on dozens of subjects related to the Christian life.
On a related note: the **Council of Ephesus in 431 AD officially proclaimed Mary as the Theotokos (Greek for "God-bearer" or "Mother of God"), in opposition to the biblical truth that Mary is the mother of the man Jesus. Also, the Catholic Council of Toulouse is clearly DEMONIC.
** The only valid and true council of the church was the Council of Jerusalem (over the issue of galatianism/justification by the law for gentiles to be saved), which is also the only council we read of in the New Testament (Acts 15 cf. Gal. 2). Any other 'council', such as the one at Ephesus, Trent, Toulouse, etc. is from a false, conflicting religious system.
Ponder this next verse, in light of the foregoing (just-mentioned) historical event (and victory for the devil) - Artemis of the Ephesians:
...and the goddess herself, who is worshiped throughout the province of Asia and the world, will be robbed of her divine majesty." When they heard this, they were furious and began shouting: 'Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!' " (Acts 19:27,28)

We Christians now have been forgiven of our past sins (1 Jn. 2:12; Lk. 7:48; 2 Pet. 1:9; etc.), are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 3:16,17; 6:19; etc.), have [present tense] salvation (Lk. 19:9; 2 Cor. 6:2; 2 Tim. 1:9; Titus 3:5) and eternal life (Jn. 6:47; 1 Jn. 5:12,13) as we travel the hard road to life (Mt. 7:14) from which some depart and go astray (1 Tim. 1:5,6; 2 Tim. 2:17,18; etc.).We must endure to the end to be saved eternally (Mt. 10:22; Heb. 3:14; Rev. 2:10,11; Gal. 6:8,9) - that is, to enter God's kingdom (Mt. 7:21; Lk. 13:23,24). We must HOLD ON to what we have so that no man will get our crown (Rev. 3:11). Such is GRACE, not legalism.
Sin, persecution and false teachers are the 3 major dangers that all Christians face now with our chief enemy THE DEVIL.

The time span from Adam to the present is about 6,000 years. During that time, in the Book of Job, we read of both the big "Behemoth" (Job 40:15) and the "Leviathan" (Job 41:1). See also Job 3:8, Psa. 74:14; 104:26 and Isa. 27:1.Therefore, Job, and others, co-existed with the Behemoth and Leviathan. Are they considered 'dinosaurs'? If so, then man did indeed co-exist with dinosaurs, and the controversy is ended.

The eternal security (OSAS) proponents often declare that unforgiveness, like other forms of sin, will result in a prayer hindrance, grieving of the Holy Spirit, loss of our comforts or heavenly rewards, break in fellowship, etc., but they fail to see and warn of the biggest danger - the loss of salvation. Yet, note at different times, these same teachers claim that God cannot see the Christian's sins; if God can't see our sins, how could we suffer a loss of rewards for sin?

The 'Other Mary' Cited by Catholics to Defend their MYTHICAL Perpetual Virgin Mary
They claim the mother of James and Joseph (Joses) was Mary, who is also called the 'other Mary' to distinguish her from the mother of Jesus. She is identified as the wife of Clopas (or Cleopas) and a sister of the mother of Jesus.That bit of Catholic tradition is PURE BASELESS UNSCRIPTURAL PROPAGANDA and 'filled with holes.'
- No scripture says the wife of Clopas has 2 sons named James and Joseph;
- To say the imaginary "Mary, the wife of Clopas" was Jesus' mother's sister in the flesh is to say Mary's parents had 2 daughters named 'Mary', which is irrational.
So the soldiers did these things. But standing by the cross of Jesus were His mother, His mother's sister [Salome], Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.**The people in Nazareth knew Joseph, Mary and their children and stated:

- Paul, and his co-laborers, worked night and day to set a good example for them to follow;
- "If a man will not work, he shall not eat" is a Christian rule;
- Idleness leads to being busybodies;
- Earn the bread you eat.
Certain widows were also idle and busybodies (1 Tim. 5:13). Remember:
