How then should we view Gen. 3:20, where it says Eve is the mother of all the living?
Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living. (Gen 3:20)
Eve is the mother of humanity in the natural sense, that is, the mother of those born here on earth. That is all that verse is saying. That statement is silent about life on other planets, unlike Rev. 10:6 which refers to the heavens and all that is in them, thereby leaving the door open for possible intelligent alien life. The belief in aliens and religion, that is, aliens and Christianity, can co-exist as long as the erroneous alien gospel is completely discounted! Nothing supersedes the message of the Bible for spiritual authority, including aliens, EBEs and/or extraterrestrials from a flying saucer!

And he said to them, "Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. TOUCH ME, AND SEE. FOR A SPIRIT DOES NOT HAVE FLESH AND BONES AS YOU SEE THAT I HAVE." And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet. The disciples somehow thought the resurrected Jesus, who had a tangible body of "flesh and bones," was a SPIRIT!!! HOW COULD THAT BE?

The answer is a MYSTERY, because nothing explicit is stated in scripture, but MAYBE, just MAYBE, Jesus' glorified body, though tangible "flesh and bones" which could be "touched", somehow resembled a spirit. (No one had ever seen such a glorified body before. That was the first time ever.)

What were the "TRADITIONS" taught by the Apostles?

So then, brothers, stand firm and HOLD TO THE TRADITIONS THAT YOU WERE TAUGHT BY US, either by our spoken word or by our letter.

After THE READING FROM THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS, the rulers of the synagogue sent a message to them, saying, "Brothers, if you have any word of encouragement for the people, say it." (Acts 13:15)

That Jewish practice (tradition) was, likewise, to be carried out among Christians, but it includes Paul's epistles (and other NT books implied), which is also scripture:

I charge you before the Lord to have this letter read to all the brothers. (1 Th 5:27)
That is VERY IMPORTANT to know as Christians try to help Catholics find salvation, who stumble over their man-made invented practices (which they call 'tradition'), and which contradicts scripture such as the 1090 invented Rosary contradicting Mt. 6:7,8 and replacing Jesus with Mary.

A Temptation Is Not a Sin

EVERYONE gets tempted to sin, even Jesus was:
For we do not have a high priest [JESUS] who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one WHO HAS BEEN TEMPTED IN EVERY WAY, JUST AS WE ARE--YET WAS WITHOUT SIN. (Heb 4:15)
The foregoing passage proves temptation itself is NOT A SIN: Temptation WILL LEAD TO SIN, if one acts on temptation (the evil desire):
but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. Don't be deceived, my dear brothers. (James 1:14-16)
That distinction is important because THE DEVIL ("the enemy") will give us all THOUGHTS (TEMPTATIONS) TO SIN. As long as you resist acting on those temptations, you do not sin. For example, IF you were tempted to steal an ink pen, but did not, no sin was committed.

Do not be confused about the difference between temptation and sin, and do not be unjustly condemned by the devil's temptation.

REMEMBER: There were NO chapter or verse divisions in the NT when written

Those chapter and verse divisions came later, and some of them have caused people to miss a very important truth. Below are three such examples:
even as I try to please everybody in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved. (1 Cor 10:33) Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. (1 Cor 11:1)
The chapter division makes 1 Cor. 11:1 appear to be disconnected to 1 Cor. 10:33, but it isn't. It's a continuation of the thought ABOUT SOUL WINNING and following Paul's example as he followed Christ.

aliens Verse 16 seems to be disconnected to v. 15, but it isn't. Verse 16 should be part of v. 15.

(Mat 16:28) After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. (Mat 17:1) There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. (Mat 17:2) Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus. (Mat 17:3)
The chapter division should not be there. The fulfillment of Mt. 16:28 is stated at the beginning of chapter 17. Again, the chapter division has given skeptics FALSE 'ammo' to use against Christians. Don't be misled.

CALEB, the Number 2 man who was the CHAMPION

Caleb went against IMPOSSIBLE ODDS in the natural and, with God's help, Hebron became his. FAITH IN GOD is the key, even for you.

How far off can one be doctrinally and still be a Christian doing God's will?

ANYTHING related to the salvation of the soul MUST be scripturally sound. To preach a false gospel is to be condemned (Gal. 1:8,9). FYI: OVER 99% of Rat Poison is 'good food'!

HOW Could the Following Requirement Be Possible for SALVATION?

Many professing Christians in our hour do not believe such is even possible, but it clearly is, and it is a NECESSITY. So, what could bring one to that glorious end?
If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, WITH THE SWORD HE WILL BE KILLED. This calls for PATIENT ENDURANCE AND FAITHFULNESS on the part of the saints. (Rev 13:10)
That winning attitude, along with being willing to DIE, even alone, to avoid taking the mark of the beast, or anytime for the Lord, is at least a major part of achieving the Eph. 5:27 status/requirement.
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? (Mark 8:35-37)

One of the strangest and most controversial chapters in the Bible is 1 Samuel 28

FYI: the Hebrew there says, "SAMUEL" multiple times! MAYBE JUST MAYBE, God allowed such to occur just for that one special occasion.

However, regardless, NEVER EVER contact a witch, fortune teller, tarot card reader, or anyone else involved in the occult for any reason. To do so is to become DEFILED just by so doing (Lev. 19:31). Those who practice the magic arts will go to the lake of fire, unless they repent! See Acts 19:19. (There are NO 'good' witches.)

3 Times UNSAVED people Prophesied!

If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a miraculous sign or wonder, AND IF THE SIGN OR WONDER OF WHICH HE HAS SPOKEN TAKES PLACE, and he says, "Let us follow other gods" (gods you have not known) "and let us worship them," you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. Then one of them, named Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, spoke up, "You know nothing at all! You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish." He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that year he PROPHESIED THAT JESUS WOULD DIE FOR THE JEWISH NATION, AND NOT ONLY FOR THAT NATION BUT ALSO FOR THE SCATTERED CHILDREN OF GOD, TO BRING THEM TOGETHER AND MAKE THEM ONE. (John 11:49-52)
So Saul went to Naioth at Ramah. But the Spirit of God came even upon him, and he walked along prophesying until he came to Naioth. He stripped off his robes and also prophesied in Samuel's presence. He lay that way all that day and night. This is why people say, "Is Saul also among the prophets?" (1 Sam 19:23,24)
In all 3 of those examples, it was UNSAVED people prophesying. (Saul was no longer saved at that point.)

All three of those men faced mountainous, adverse problems in their day, just like God's prophets. In fact, Daniel was a prophet (and Noah was a preacher).

In other words, King Saul's children (ancestry) did not reign after his death, that is, God took his LOVE away from him (because of Saul's disobedience):

Have you ever wondered why the places cited in Acts 13 and 14, which had disciples, never got epistles as did Corinth, Ephesus, etc.? THEY DID, but it is somewhat concealed! Paul wrote:
Paul, an apostle--sent not from men nor by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead-- and all the brothers with me, to the CHURCHES [PLURAL] in Galatia: (Gal 1:1,2)
Galatia was a REGION, not a city. The Book of Galatians was addressed to the entire region. On the other hand, we don't have an epistle addressed to the BEREANS, who are mentioned here:
As soon as it was night, the brothers sent Paul and Silas away to Berea. On arriving there, they went to the Jewish synagogue.
